Thedesignandmanufactureof thisdryerisdirectedtowardoperatorsafety.However, theverynatureof agraindryer
havingagasburner,highvoltageelectrical equipmentandhighspeedrotatingpartsdoespresentahazardtopersonnelwhich
cannotbecompletelysafeguardedagainstwithoutinterferingwithefficientoperationandreasonable access tocomponents.
Useextremecautioninworkingaroundhighspeedfans,gas-firedheaters,augersandauxiliaryconveyorswhichmaystart
withoutwarningwhenthedryerisoperatingonautomaticcontrol.
Continuedsafedependableoperationof automaticequipmentdepends,toagreatdegree,upontheowner.Forasafeand
dependabledryingsystem,followtherecommendationswithinthemanualandmakeit apractice toregularlyinspecttheoperation

OPERATINGPRECAUTIONS
1. Readandunderstandtheoperationmanualbeforeattemptingtooperatetheunit.
2. KeepALLguards,safetydecals,andsafetydevicesinplace.Neveroperatedryerwhileguardsareremoved.
3. Keepvisitors,childrenanduntrainedpersonnel awayfromdryerat all times.
4. Neverattempttooperatethedryerbyjumpingorotherwisebypassing anysafetydevicesontheunit.
5. AlwayssetthemainpowersupplydisconnectswitchtoOFFandlockit intheOFF positionusing apadlockbefore
performinganyservice ormaintenance work onthedryerortheauxiliaryconveyorequipment.
6. Beforeattemptingtoremoveandreinstall thefanblade,makecertaintoreadrecommendedprocedurelistedwithinthe
SERVICINGsectionofthemanual.
7. KeepthedryerandwetholdingequipmentCLEAN.Donotallowfinematerialtoaccumulate.
8. Setpressureregulatortoavoidexcessivegaspressureappliedtoaburnerduringignitionandwhenburnerisinoperation.
