•The power outlet is voltage-free only when
unplugged.
•Switch on and use only with the safety covers
closed. Protect the product from dirt, moisture
and overheating, and only use it in adry
environment.

5. Getting started and operation
Warning
•Only operate the product from asocket
that has been approved for the device.
The socket must be installed close to the
product and must be easily accessible.
•Disconnect the product from the power
supply using the On/Off switch –ifthis is
not available, unplug the power cordfrom
the socket.
•Ifusing amulti-socket power strip, make
surethat the total power consumption of
all connected devices does not exceed the
power strip's maximum throughput rating.
•Ifyou will not be using the product for a
prolonged period, disconnect it from mains
power.
It’ssosimple:
•Just download the app Hama Smart
Solution from the Apple app storeorthe
Google Play store
•Start the Hama Smart Solution app
•Ifyou’re using it for the rst time, you’ll have
to register and create anew account. If you
already have an account, log in using your
login details
•Connect the WiFi smart socket to aproperly
installed and easily accessible mains socket.
•Press and hold the button on the socket for
approx. 5seconds until the blue LED begins
to ash quickly
•Now click +in the upper-right corner and se-
lect Power socket followed by your device.
•Conrm with Device is ashing quickly.
•Now enter the name of your WiFi network
and the password, and conrm with
Conrm.
•The socket will now be connected. Once the
connection has been established, the blue
LED stops ashing
•Now you can set up, control and congure
your WiFi Smart socket using the app.
•When switching on and off,the ring beneath
is lit red.
•Only during pairing is the WiFi symbol lit blue.
6. Care and Maintenance
Note
Disconnect the product from the mains before
cleaning it or if it is not going to be used for a
long period of time.
•Only clean this product with aslightly damp,
lint-free cloth and do not use aggressive
cleaning agents.
•Make surethat water does not get into the
product.
