4. Operating mode
VACUUM IN BAGS
•
Switch on the machine with the on – off button (1).
• Open the mobile lid (C).
• Place the bag about 1 cm inside the machine de-
compression chamber - the chamber is delineated
by the gasket (E). During the stage make sure that
nothing inside the bag is near the sealing bar (D).
• On closing the lid (C), the suction pump will start
automatically; apply a slight pressure and wait for it
to close onto the bag opening.
• At the end of the vacuum process, the bag sealing
resistance will turn on automatically.
• When the sealing is completed, the pump will stop
and the lid (C) will open automatically.
VACUUM IN CONTAINERS
• Switch on the machine with the on–off button (1).
• Open the mobile lid (C).
• Connect the vacuum tube to the suction fitting (F).
• Place the food inside the container and close it
with the special container lid.
• Place the suction sensor in such a way as to
close the lid tub, making sure that the rubber
ball is inside the special tub on the lid itself.
• To start suction press the V button (2) without
closing the mobile lid (C).
• The machine starts
• The 3 leds (4) on the display flash in sequence.
• At the end of the vacuum cycle, the machine
stops without sealing.
VACUUM IN ROLLS
• Plug the machine in and turn it on
• Cut the roll at the desired length
• Open the lid (C) and place the bag opening exact-
ly on the sealing bar (Teflon) ahead the decom-
pression chamber.
• Close the lid (C) and apply a slight pressure on
the two sides for a few seconds in order to start
the automatic cycle.
• Press (3) in order to proceed to the sealing.
• It is now possible to insert food into the bag and
proceed with the standard vacuum cycle
IMPORTANT!
Always use bags proportionate with the product
to be vacuum packed, otherwise (e.g.: if a very
large bag is used for only a little product), the de-
vice will take longer to complete the cycle.
Therefore, after you have finished the sample
bags provided with the machine select the most
suitable bag size for your packing needs from the
attached list and order the bags from the same
retailers.
5. Correct bag sealing
The following suggestions are useful to prevent
incorrect packing, which could compromise food
preservation.
None of the bag contents must get between the
sealing bar (3) for sealing the bag correctly.
IMPORTANT!
The vacuum may escape from a sealed bag after
a while.
Causes of this problem may be:
• The bag was not perfectly sealed (sealing tem-
perature not suitable for the type of bag used).
• Food residues got between the sealing bar.
• A sharp object (bones, fish bones, hard cheese
rinds, etc.) may have pierced a tiny hole in the
bag (possibly not visible to the naked eye).
