How to configure 26 series Access Controller to connect 485 Fingerprint
Card Reader
1. Wring1) Dial the 485 Fingerprint Card Reader and enable the first digit of the DIP
Switch on the back of the 485 Fingerprint Card Reader.
2) Connect the 485 Fingerprint Card Reader, Face Recognition Terminal and
Magnetic Lock to the controller. Refer to the wiring diagram and physical
wiring diagram.

2. Add device and person to the IVMS-4200 platform
1) Connect the device to the Ethernet, search the device IP address via the SADP
software.
2) Add the Access Controller and the Face Recognition Terminal to IVMS-4200
platform.

3) Check the device status and make sure the card reader online.
4) Add person, via Face Recognition Terminal to add card and fingerprint.

3. Apply to the device
1) Click Access Control-Access Group-Add，select person and Access Point,
save then apply to the device.

2) Click Access Control-Advanced Function-Authentication，then select the
Authentication Mode as FP/ Card，and set the schedule.

4. Test the function
1) Use fingerprint to test, than can open the Magnetic Lock.
2) Use card to test, than can open the Magnetic Lock.
