HISK1 | Quick Installation Guide
The customer phone number is 0844 736 9149 from Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.00pm.
The phone calls are charged at the national rate of the service providers.
WARNING
Obey the instructions of the manufacturers when you use power tools, steps, ladders and other equipment.-
Do not put the coin cell batteries in your mouth. Do not keep the cell batteries near small children.-
Do not keep the devices and the tools near children.-
You must only install the devices in dry environments. You can install the External Siren in wet environments.-
Use ear defenders if you do work near the Siren.-
Before you install a device:
Read the Quick guide manual.1.
Make sure that you know how to do the work.2.
Prepare the procedure.3.
Install and operate this alarm system in accordance with any local and/or national regulation and legislation.
Wear safety clothes and safety glasses when you drill in the walls. Make sure that there are no electrical cables and
water pipes in the walls. Use a pipe and cable locator if necessary.
Make sure that the ladder is installed on a level and stable surface. Make sure that the angle of the ladder is correct.
Make sure that the ladder is attached.
Accept the licence agreement for web users if you use the PC web software and the smartphone app.

Declaration
Novar ED&S hereby declares that the wireless alarm system is in compliance with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of the R&TTE
directive (1999/5/EC).
Guarantee
Novar ED&S undertakes to replace or repair at its discretion goods (excluding non rechargeable batteries) should they become defective within 1 year solely as
a result of faulty materials and workmanship. Understandably if the product has not been installed, operated or maintained in accordance with the instructions,
has not been used appropriately or if any attempt has been made to rectify, dismantle or alter the product in any way the guarantee will be invalidated.
The guarantee states Novar ED&S entire liability. It does not extent to cover consequential loss or damage or installation costs arising from the defective
product. This guarantee does not in any way affect the statutory or other rights of a consumer and applies to products installed within UK and Eire only. If
an item develops a fault, the product must be returned to the point of sale with: 1.Proof of purchase, 2.A full description of the fault, 3.All relevant batteries
(disconnected).
DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING
Batteries and waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste.
Please recycle where these facilities exist. Check with your local authority or retailer for recycling advice.
The Rechargeable Batteries contain Sulphuric Acid ! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPEN THE BATTERY CASING !
