•Ingenico 3070 Contactless is a com-
pact handheld PIN Pad with smart card,
magnetic card and contactless card read-
ers ideal for use in retail and single
point-of-sale environments.
•Ingenico 3070 Contactless has been designed
to meet PCI PED security standards. It also
supports the latest contactless EMV and non-
EMV specifications from Visa and
Mastercard. It offers a fast and easy way to
adapt existing point-of-sale systems to accept
most forms of card or mobile phone payment.
•Its large graphic display and function keys,
together with the newly integrated light
emitting diodes (LEDs) improve user
friendliness. The ergonomic design allows
for easy, simple cardholder operation,
regardless of the payment method used.

•Ingenico 3070 Contactless is the first of its kind with a fully
integrated contactless module
•While retaining the same shape and dimensions, this new device
adds the following capabilities to existing i3070:
•MasterCard PayPass and OneSmart PayPass
•Visa Contactless, including qVSDC
•NFC (mobile phone payment)
•Optional: Mifare, Calypso, Felica

•The large graphic display offers clear presentation of data and com-
mands. The screen can also display the official contactless sign when
appropriate, guiding the user for optimal card presentation and reading
•4LEDs and a buzzer indicate that cards are successfully read
•Its compact customer-facing design allows for convenient cardholder
operation
•The Ingenico 3070 provides multiple connectivity options, including
USB or RS-232, thus reducing installation and maintenance costs
•The Ingenico 3070 is compatible with the entire range of Ingenico
countertop terminals (such as Ingenico 5100) and most cash registers
•It provides a single device/single wire configuration, making it much
easier and cheaper to integrate than traditional 2-box configuration
(PIN Pad + separate contactless reader)
Highest Physical and Logical Security
•The integrated High Security Core (HSC) has been developed from years
of experience by the leader in POS security, Ingenico. It meets the most
demanding requirements of payment transactions (PCI PED). It has a
32-bit processor to support powerful encryption (RSA, DES, 3DES...),
ensuring confidential data is secure
•Multi application security is provided by UNICAPT technology
permitting several applications to run independently on the same device.
Additionally, applications that have already been written for other
Ingenico U32 terminals can easily be ported to the i3070
