inspected before leaving the factory. iSi offers
a two-year warranty for materials and machin-
ing, as long as faults are not determined to be
the result of improper use. The warranty is ef-
fective from the date on the purchase receipt.

The warranty is only valid when original whipper
parts from iSi are used, as given in the list of
product components. The perfect function of
your Whipper/Siphon can only be guaranteed
if you exclusively use iSi chargers with it. No
warranty or liability claim will be upheld for
faults, damage, or consequential damage
particularly determined to be the result of
non-compliance and/or ignorance of the user
instructions and the safety information therein.

Limited warranty, Limitations and Warning:
iSi products are thoroughly tested before they
leave the factory, and iSi warrants for a period
of two years that its products are free from
defects in materials and workmanship and, if
used only with other iSi products, will function
as intended. iSi’s liability in the event of a prod-
uct’s failure to meet this warranty is limited to
repair or replacement of the product or, at iSi’s
option or if iSi is unable to deliver a replacement
product, to refund the purchase price. In no
event, however, shall iSi be liable for incidental
or consequential damages. Any implied war-
ranties are limited to the terms of the express
warranties, including the two-year duration.
iSi siphons and chargers are designed and engi-
neered to function together as a system and
involve gas under pressure. All iSi products and
parts bear the iSi logo; iSi recommends that only
iSi parts and products be used with iSi products,
including that only iSi chargers be used with iSi
Whippers/Siphons and that iSi chargers be used
only in iSi Whippers/Siphons. Failure to follow

ture, maximum filling volume, number of
chargers or usage of the iSi Siphon shown
in the Siphon Data! Do not use for any pur-
poses not indicated in these instructions!
——— Please read the instructions for use care-
fully to avoid operating errors and keep a
copy on hand!
——— Do not use force when screwing on or off
the head, using the siphon and during any
operation described in these instructions!

Preparation
NOTE: If the bottle has been out of use for a long
period of time, rinse it with warm water (max.
50°C/122°F) before use. Push the lever several
times to check the siphon's function.
1. Push the measuring tube into the bottle until
it stops.
NOTE: Never fill the bottle without the
measuring tube.
Filling
2. Hold the bottle upright and fill with cold
water until the water spills out of the
measuring tube.
NOTE: Do not try to add more water by tilting or
shaking the bottle.
NOTE: Fill the iSi Siphon with water only. Do not
add extra ingredients.
Equipment Setup
3. Insert the riser tube with gasket into the
bottle through the measuring tube.
4. Screw the head onto the bottle so that it
is straight and tighten by hand.
5. Insert 1 iSi soda charger into the charger
holder.
6. Screw the charger holder with the inserted
iSi soda charger onto the head until you can
hear that all of the charger contents have
flowed into the siphon.
WARNING: The siphon is now pressurized!
7. Shake the siphon vigorously at least 5 times.
8. Unscrew the charger holder and recycle the
empty iSi soda charger.
NOTE: A slight hiss may be heard when
removing the charger holder. This is normal.
9. Screw the cap onto the threads.

——— When screwing on the charger, do so away
from others and keep face away from the
siphon; do not bend over the siphon!
——— The siphon is a pressurized bottle. If it
is dropped or damaged (e.g., cracked or
dented), it should not be used again
because it poses a risk of injury. Please
have the siphon checked by the iSi
service center!
——— Never unscrew the head when the siphon
is pressurized!
——— Never use the lever as a carrying handle!
——— Only dismantle the iSi Siphon for cleaning
in accordance with the illustration!
——— Only clean by hand using lukewarm water
and domestic hand dishwashing detergent.
The iSi Siphon is not dishwasher safe!
Cleaning the head of the siphon in the
dishwasher may damage the plastic head
and the charger holder, which ultimately
puts your safety when using your iSi Siphon
at risk!
——— Do not make any modifications to the iSi
Siphon. This will void the warranty and
exempt the company from any liability!
——— Never use more chargers than specified
and never overfill the siphon. This will
ensure that the specified maximum oper-
ating pressure is not exceeded!
——— If the pressure will not release, please
contact iSi or your service center!
NOTE: Before using the iSi Siphon for the first
time, carry out thorough cleaning as shown in
the Cleaning illustration.
Siphon Instructions.
Please observe the illustrations in the siphon
instructions!
If the water is cold when poured in and the
siphon is kept in a cool place, then the soda
water will be particularly fizzy. Keep filled
soda siphon in the refrigerator.

Troubleshooting.
Release the pressure:
Place the siphon upright in a sink and gently
operate the lever until the pressure is gone from
the iSi Siphon. Now the head can be removed
from the bottle. If the pressure will not release,
please contact iSi or your service center.
Soda charger will not puncture.
1. The charger being used is not suitable.
——— Only use original iSi soda chargers.
2. The charger was inserted backwards.
——— Insert the iSi soda charger correctly
(see diagram: Instructions for Use).
3. The puncturing unit has been damaged.
——— Send the siphon to iSi or a service center.
Water does not contain any CO2or hardly
any at all.
1. The siphon was not shaken enough.
——— After screwing on the iSi soda charger,
shake the siphon vigorously several
times (at least 5 times).
2. The water is not cold enough.
——— The colder the water, the more CO2
it can absorb. For the best results we
recommend keeping the filled Soda
Siphon in the refrigerator.
3. No pressure/not enough pressure in the
device.
——— Only use original iSi soda chargers.
——— Do not reuse empty chargers. They
should be recycled.
4. Gas is leaking between the bottle and
the head.
——— See "During operation, gas is leaking
between the bottle and the head."
During operation, water and gas are leaking
through the outlet — pressure-relief valve is
engaged.
1. The siphon was overfilled.
——— "Release the pressure" and refill the
siphon.

Operation
10.Gently press the lever to remove the soda
water. Direct the stream toward the internal
wall of the drinking glass.
NOTE: If necessary, shake the Soda Siphon again
to achieve optimum use.
Cleaning.
NOTE: Please observe the illustrations on
cleaning!
1. Activate the lever until the siphon is
completely empty and there is no pressure
left. Unscrew the head from the siphon.
2. Remove the riser tube and measuring tube
as shown in the illustration.
3. Rinse the product components with clear
potable water (max. 50°C/122°F) only.
NOTE: Never use scouring agents, abrasive
sponges/brushes, or sharp objects to clean the
siphon.
NOTE: Do not put in the dishwasher and do not
wash in boiling water.
Storage.
If the iSi Siphon is not going to be filled again
immediately, leave the components to air dry
in a clean place and store the iSi Siphon in a
dismantled condition with the measuring tube
inserted. For best results, when not in use, do
not store the siphon with the head screwed on.

Ensure the measuring tube is fully
inserted before filling.
2. Too many chargers were used.
——— Pay attention to the maximum number
of iSi soda chargers to be used indicated
in the Siphon Data.
During operation, gas is leaking between the
bottle and the head.
1. The head was not tightened securely.
——— Tighten the head onto the bottle
by hand as per the instructions.
2. Riser tube with gasket was not used.
——— "Release the pressure" and insert the
riser tube in the bottle.
3. The gasket has been damaged.
——— "Release the pressure." The riser tube
with gasket needs to be replaced and
is available as an original iSi spare part.
4. The bottle has been damaged on the upper
edge.
——— "Release the pressure." Send the siphon
to iSi or a service center.
Service.
Replacement parts are available individually
and at an affordable price.

Bitte beachten Sie die Illustrationen zur
Gebrauchsanleitung.
Durch kalt eingefülltes Wasser und kühle
Lagerung erhält man besonders prickelndes
Sodawasser. Befüllten Soda Siphon im Kühl-
schrank aufbewahren.
Vorbereitung
HINWEIS: War der Siphon längere Zeit nicht in
Verwendung, vor dem Gebrauch mit warmem
Wasser (max. 50 °C) ausspülen. Drücken Sie den
Hebel mehrmals durch, um die Funktionsfähig-
keit zu prüfen.

1. Das Messrohr in die Flasche bis auf Anschlag
eindrücken.
HINWEIS: Flasche niemals ohne Messrohr füllen!
Befüllen
2. Flasche aufrecht mit kaltem Wasser füllen,
bis das Wasser über das Messrohr überläuft.
HINWEIS: Nicht versuchen, durch Neigen oder
Schütteln noch mehr Wasser einzufüllen.
HINWEIS: iSi Gerät ausschließlich mit reinem
Wasser befüllen. Keine Zusätze verwenden.
Inbetriebnahme
3. Steigrohr mit Dichtung durch das Messrohr in
die Flasche stecken.
4. Den Gerätekopf gerade und handfest auf die
Flasche aufschrauben.
5. 1 iSi Sodakapsel in den Kapselhalter einlegen.
6. Kapselhalter mit eingelegter iSi Sodakapsel
auf den Gerätekopf aufschrauben, bis der
gesamte Kapselinhalt hörbar eingeströmt ist.
ACHTUNG: Gerät steht nun unter Druck!
7. Gerät mindestens 5 Mal kräftig schütteln.
8. Kapselhalter abschrauben und leere iSi
Sodakapsel der Wiederverwertung zuführen.
HINWEIS: Leises Zischen beim Abschrauben des
Kapselhalters ist systembedingt.
9. Abdeckkappe auf das Gewinde aufschrauben.
Bedienung
10.Zur Entnahme den Hebel gefühlvoll betä-
tigen. Den Strahl gegen die Innenwand des
Trinkglases richten.
HINWEIS: Bei Bedarf Gerät nochmals schütteln,
um eine optimale Anwendung zu ermöglichen.
Reinigung.
HINWEIS: Beachten Sie die Illustration zur
Reinigung!
1. Betätigen des Hebels, bis das Gerät voll-
ständig entleert und druckentlastet ist.
Gerätekopf vom Gerät abschrauben.
2. Steigrohr und Messrohr, wie abgebildet,
herausziehen.
3. Produktbestandteile nur mit klarem
Trinkwasser (max. 50 °C) ausspülen.
HINWEIS: Zum Reinigen keinesfalls Scheuer-
mittel, kratzende Schwämme/Bürsten sowie
scharfe Gegenstände verwenden.
HINWEIS: Nicht im Geschirrspüler reinigen und
nicht auskochen!
Aufbewahrung.
Sofern das iSi Gerät nicht sofort wieder befüllt
wird, Bestandteile an einem sauberen Ort an
der Luft trocknen lassen und iSi Gerät in de-
montiertem Zustand mit eingesetztem Messrohr
aufbewahren. Das Gerät niemals mit aufge-
schraubtem Kopf aufbewahren.
Fehlerbehebung.
Druck ablassen:
Das Gerät aufrecht in ein Waschbecken hinstellen
und den Hebel so lange gefühlvoll betätigen,
bis sich kein Druck mehr im iSi Gerät befindet.
Erst dann den Gerätekopf von der Flasche ab-
schrauben. Lässt sich der Druck nicht abbauen,
nehmen Sie bitte mit iSi oder Ihrer Servicestelle
Kontakt auf.
Sodakapsel wird nicht aufgestochen.
1. Verwendete Kapsel ist nicht geeignet
——— Nur original iSi Sodakapseln verwenden.

2. Kapsel wurde verkehrt eingelegt
——— iSi Sodakapsel richtig einlegen (siehe
Abbildung: Gebrauchsanleitung).
3. Aufstecheinheit wurde beschädigt
——— Gerät an iSi oder Servicestelle einsenden.
Wasser enthält kein oder kaum CO2.
1. Gerät wurde nicht genug geschüttelt
——— Das Gerät muss nach dem Einschrauben
der iSi Sodakapsel mehrmals (mindestens
5 Mal) kräftig geschüttelt werden.
2. Wasser ist nicht kalt genug
——— Je kälter das Wasser, umso mehr CO2
kann es aufnehmen, wir empfehlen für
gute Ergebnisse die Vorlagerung des
gefüllten Siphons im Kühlschrank.
3. Kein Druck/zu wenig Druck im Gerät
——— Nur original iSi Sodakapseln verwenden.
——— Leere Kapseln nicht wieder verwenden
und der Wiederverwertung zuführen.
4. Gas entweicht zwischen Flasche und Kopf
——— Siehe Punkt „Bei Inbetriebnahme ent-
weicht Gas zwischen Flasche und Kopf.“
Bei Inbetriebnahme entweicht Wasser und Gas
durch den Auslass - Überdruckventil spricht an.
1. Gerät wurde überfüllt

——— Ne jamais se servir du levier comme poignée!
——— Ne démonter le siphon iSi que selon
les illustrations «Mode d’utilisation» et
«Nettoyage» !
——— Le nettoyage manuel doit exclusivement
être réalisé avec de l‘eau tiède et de la
liquide vaisselle maison. Le siphon iSi n‘est
pas lavable au lave-vaisselle! Le nettoyage
non autorisé de la tête au lave-vaisselle
peut endommager la tête plastifiée et le
porte-capsule! La sécurité du siphon s'en
trouve ainsi altérée!
——— Ne procéder à aucune modification sur le
siphon iSi. Ceci annule la garantie et exclut
toute responsabilité du fabricant!
——— Ne jamais utiliser plus de capsules qu'indiqué
et ne dépassez pas la contenance indiquée

Mode d'emploi.
Tenir compte des illustrations du mode d'emploi.
Remplir le siphon conservé au frais avec de
l´eau froide afin d´obtenir une eau gazeuse
particulièrement pétillante. Conserver le Soda
Siphon rempli au réfrigérateur.
Préparation
REMARQUE: Si la bouteille n'a pas été utilisée
pendant une longue période, procéder à un
rinçage avec de l'eau chaude (max. 50 °C).
Activer le levier à plusieurs reprises pour vérifier
la fonctionnalité.

S'il tombe au sol ou s'il est endommagé
(p.ex. fissures ou déformations), il repré-
sente une source de danger potentielle et

1. Enfoncer le tube de niveau dans la bouteille
jusqu'à la butée.
REMARQUE: Ne jamais remplir la bouteille sans
tube de niveau!
Remplissage
2. Remplir la bouteille tenue verticalement
avec de l'eau froide, jusqu'à ce que l'eau
déborde au-dessus du tube de niveau.
REMARQUE: Ne pas essayer de mettre une
quantité d'eau plus importante en inclinant
ou en secouant.
REMARQUE: Ne remplir le siphon iSi qu'avec
de l'eau pure. Ne pas utiliser d'additifs.
Mise en service
3. Introduire la conduite montante avec joint
dans la bouteille par le tube de niveau.
4. Visser la tête fermement et bien droite sur
le corps de bouteille.
5. Introduire 1 capsule iSi à eau de seltz dans
le porte-capsule.
6. Visser le porte-capsule contenant la capsule
iSi à eau de seltz sur la tête jusqu'à ce que le
bruit du flux de la totalité du gaz de la capsule
soit audible.
ATTENTION: Le siphon est maintenant sous
pression!
7. Agiter vigoureusement le siphon au moins
à 5 reprises.
8. Dévisser le porte-capsule et éliminer la cap-
sule iSi eau de seltz par la voie du recyclage.
REMARQUE: Il est normal d'entendre un léger
sifflement lors du dévissage du porte-capsule.
9. Visser le capuchon sur le pas de vis.
Utilisation
10.Pour faire sortir l´eau gazeuse, activer le
levier avec précaution. Diriger le jet vers
la paroi intérieure du verre.
REMARQUE: Si nécessaire, secouer une nouvelle
fois le siphon pour faciliter une application
optimale.
Nettoyage.
REMARQUE: Tenir compte de l'illustration
relative au nettoyage!
1. Actionner le levier jusqu'à ce que le siphon
soit entièrement vide et hors pression.
Dévisser la tête de l'appareil.
2. Retirer la conduite montante et le tube de
niveau tel qu'indiqué sur l'illustration.
3. Ne rincer les composants qu'à l'eau chaude
potable (max. 50 °C).
REMARQUE: Pour le nettoyage, n'utilisez en
aucun cas des éponges/brosses ou produits
abrasifs ou encore des objets pointus.
REMARQUE: Ne pas laver au lave-vaisselle et
ne pas faire bouillir!
Conservation.
Si le siphon iSi n'est pas immédiatement rempli
une nouvelle fois, laisser sécher les composants
à l'air dans un endroit propre et ranger le siphon
iSi à l'état démonté avec tube de niveau inséré.
Ne jamais conserver le siphon avec la tête vissée.
Élimination des
dysfonctionnements.
Évacuer la pression:
Placer le siphon en position verticale dans un
évier et actionner le levier avec précaution
jusqu'à ce que la pression soit nulle dans le
siphon iSi. Ne dévisser la tête que lorsque la
bouteille est entièrement hors pression.
S'il est impossible de mettre la bouteille hors
pression, prenez contact avec iSi ou avec votre
service après-vente.

La capsule eau de seltz n'est pas perforée.
1. La capsule utilisée n'est pas adaptée
——— N'utiliser que des capsules iSi eau
de seltz d'origine.
2. La capsule a été insérée à l'envers
——— Positionner correctement la capsule
iSi eau de seltz (voir illustration: Mode
d'emploi).
3. L'unité de perçage est endommagée
——— Envoyer le siphon à iSi ou au service
de maintenance.
L'eau ne contient pas ou peu de CO2.
1. Le siphon n'a pas été suffisamment secoué
——— Lorsque la capsule eau de seltz a été
vissée, secouer vigoureusement le siphon
à plusieurs reprises (au moins 5 fois).
2. L'eau n'est pas assez froide
——— Plus l'eau est froide, plus elle absorbera
le dioxyde de carbone. Pour obtenir de
bons résultats, nous recommandons une
conservation préalable du siphon rempli
au réfrigérateur.
3. Absence de pression ou pression trop faible
dans le siphon
——— N'utiliser que des capsules iSi eau de
seltz d'origine.
——— Ne pas réutiliser les capsules vides et
les éliminer par la voie du recyclage.
4. Du gaz s'échappe entre la bouteille et la tête
——— Voir le point «Lors de la mise en service,
du gaz s'échappe entre la bouteille et la
tête».
Lors de la mise en service, de l'eau et du gaz
s'échappent par l'orifice de sortie - la soupape
de trop-plein se déclenche.
1. Le siphon a été trop rempli
——— «Évacuer la pression» et remplir de
nouveau le siphon.
——— Respectez la contenance maximale.
Avant remplissage, insérer le tube de
niveau jusqu'à la butée.
2. Un trop grand nombre de capsules a été utilisé
——— Utiliser au maximum 1 capsule iSi eau de
seltz.

entre la bouteille et la tête.
1. La tête n'a pas été suffisamment vissée
——— Visser la tête sur la bouteille conformé-

——— «Évacuer la pression». Envoyer le siphon
à iSi ou au service de maintenance.
Maintenance
Les pièces de rechange sont disponibles à l'unité
et peu onéreuses.

En cas de réparation, envoyer le siphon complet.
