Before You Begin
WARNING: Risk of personal injury. Do not cut the tempered glass. If the glass is cut, the glass
will shatter and may cause personal injury.
NOTICE: This shower door is designed to be specifically paired with a Sterling shower module. Do not
install this shower door if you do not have a Sterling shower module installed.
IMPORTANT! This door is designed to accommodate walls that are less than 3/8″(1 cm) out of plumb.
Verify the area the door will be attached to is within 3/8″(1 cm) or better of plumb. The door may not
function properly if the wall is more than 3/8″(1 cm) out of plumb.
The shower enclosure and finished wall material should be installed at this time.
Allow the caulk or silicone sealant to set for 24 hours before using the shower.

1. Mark and Drill the Mounting Holes
Measure 35-15/16″(91.3 cm) (dimension ″A″)fromtheback shower wall (not receptor edge) to the
front ledge of the receptor and mark on the receptor with a pencil.
Align the outside edge of the wall jamb with the mark made on the shower ledge.
NOTE: The wall jamb must sit flat on the shower ledge. If the ledge has a curve in the corners at the side
wall, it may be necessary to shape the bottom end of the wall jamb with a file.
Using a level, plumb the wall jamb.
Mark the five wall mounting holes with a pencil.
IMPORTANT! For ceramic tile walls, use a center punch to lightly punch the five hole locations for the
wall jamb before drilling.
Slowly drill a 5/16″hole at the marked hole locations.
Press and hold the legs of each wall anchor (provided) together and insert the wall anchor legs into
the pre-drilled mounting holes.
Repeat for all the wall anchors.
Thoroughly clean the ledge and wall of debris.
Repeat the above procedure for the remaining wall jamb.

2. Install the Adjustment Blocks
Lay both wall jambs down on a flat surface with the lip facing up.
Slide an adjustment block into each end of the channel of each wall jamb.
Position each adjustment block over the hole on each end of the wall jamb between each of the
location grooves.
Using the blade of a flat-blade screwdriver, tap the wall jamb lip down onto the edges of the
adjustment blocks. This will secure the adjustment blocks in place.
Place the tip of a Phillips screwdriver into the hole of the top adjustment block. Using your thumb
and forefinger, turn the adjustment blocks clockwise until the adjustment blocks are flush against
the wall jamb. Do not turn the adjustment blocks past flush.
Repeat this procedure for the second wall jamb.
3. Install the Wall Jambs
Align the holes of the wall jamb with the drilled holes in the wall.
Secure the wall jamb with #8-18 x 1-1/4″panhead screws.
Repeat this procedure for the second wall jamb.

4. Install the Fixed Panels
Slide the wall frame of the fixed panel over the wall jamb.
Rest the fixed panel on the shower ledge.
NOTE: Perform the procedures below from inside the shower.
Place the tip of a Phillips screwdriver into the hole of the top adjustment block. Using your thumb
and forefinger, turn the adjustment block counterclockwise until the adjustment block firmly
contacts the wall frame.
Repeat the previous step for the bottom adjustment block.
Secure the wall frame to the wall with two #8-18 x 3″flathead screws.
Repeat the procedure for the other side panel.
Verify the side panels are resting firmly against the shower ledge.

5. Install the Rollers to the Moving Panels
Assemble two rollers on each moving panel with #8-32 x 3/8″roller screws.
Ensure the steel side of the roller is against the top frame flange.
6. Install the Plastic Clips
Insert a plastic clip into each panel guide slot of the bottom frame of the moving panel.
Verify the plastic clips are completely pushed all the way down into each slot.
Repeat this procedure for the other moving panel.

7. Install the Moving Panels
With the top of the moving panel angled away from you, insert the rollers into the roller groove of
the top track. Slide the bottom of the moving panel into the bottom track slot.
Slide the moving panel back to the open position.
Repeat the above procedure to install the other moving panel.
Place both moving panels into the closed position.
Verify both moving panels interlock at the corner.
NOTE: If necessary, the moving panels may be adjusted one at a time. To adjust, loosen the roller screws
and tilt the panel to achieve a smooth fit. Retighten the roller screws. Adjust the other moving panel, if
necessary.
8. Install the Bumpers
From the top of the wall frame, measure and mark 4″(10.2 cm) down and 3/4″(2 cm) in.
From the bottom of the wall frame, measure and mark 4″(10.2 cm) up and 3/4″(2 cm) in.
Remove the paper backing from the rubber bumpers.
Affix the center of the rubber bumpers onto the marked positions on each wall frame.

9. Install the Track Inserts
Slide the top/bottom track inserts into the top and bottom tracks.
10. Install the Corner Brackets and Bumpers
NOTE: The bumpers for the top corner and bottom corner brackets are not identical. The bumpers for the
top tracks are marked ″T.″The bumpers for the bottom tracks are marked ″B.″
NOTE: Perform the procedures below from inside the shower.
Slide the top corner bracket into each opening of the top track.
Place the bumpers marked ″T″into the top track and align the holes of the bumpers with the holes
in the top track.
Attach the corner bracket and bumpers to the top tracks with two #8-18 x 7/8″screws.
Tighten the screws with a screwdriver. Do not overtighten.
Repeat this procedure for the bottom track using the bumpers marked ″B.″

11. Install the Handles and Seals
NOTE: Perform the procedure below from inside the shower.
Position an interlocking handle on the outside edge of each moving panel.
Secure the interlocking handle with four #8-18 x 3/8″screws.
Attach a side frame seal to the inside edge of each moving panel with four #8-18 x 3/8″screws.
NOTE: If necessary, slight adjustments may be made to each interlocking handle. Loosen the four screws
on the interlocking handle and slightly reposition the handle in or out to achieve a smooth fit. Retighten
the screws.

12. Test and Adjust the Moving Panels
Slide one of the moving panels into the closed position.
Slowly slide the second moving panel into the closed position. Ensure each panel slides smoothly
and the panels interlock at the corner.
If the panels do not interlock:
Adjust one of the moving panels by loosening the small adjustment screw(s) and tilting the panel to
get a smooth fit.
Retighten the screws.
If the panels do not glide smoothly:
Loosen both roller screws.
Lower or raise the panel an equal amount on both sides.

13. Caulk the Shower Doors
CAUTION: Risk of property damage. Apply caulk or silicone sealant around the outside of the frame
only. Applying caulk or silicone sealant to the inside of the door will cause leakage and damage.
CAUTION: Risk of property damage. After completing the installation, follow the sealant
manufacturer’s recommended drying time before using the shower. This will allow the panel
adhesive to properly cure.
Thoroughly clean and dry the shower ledge and the bottom track of the shower door.
NOTE: Refer to the caulk or silicone sealant manufacturer’s instructions for proper caulking techniques.
Apply a 3/16″(5 mm) bead of caulk or silicone sealant around the outside of the frame where the
bottom track meets the shower receptor, corner brackets meet the shower receptor, wall jamb meets
the shower receptor, and wall jamb meets the wall.
Follow the sealant manufacturer’s recommended drying time before using the shower.

Avant de commencer

AVIS: Cette porte de douche est spécialement conçue pour un module de douche Sterling et ne doit pas
être installée si le module de douche n’est pas un module Sterling.
IMPORTANT! Cette porte est conçue pour s’adapter à des murs qui sont à moins de 3/8″(1 cm) hors
d’aplomb. Vérifier que la zone où la porte sera fixée est comprise dans 3/8″(1 cm) ou moins de l’aplomb.
La porte risque de ne pas fonctionner correctement si le mur est à plus de 3/8″(1 cm) hors d’aplomb.
L’encadrement de la douche et le matériau du mur fini devraient être installés à ce moment.
Avant d’utiliser la douche, laisser prendre le mastic ou la silicone pendant 24 heures.

1. Marquer et percer les orifices de fixation
Mesurer 35-15/16″(91,3 cm) (dimension ″A″) à partir du mur arrière de la douche (pas le rebord
du receveur) au rebord avant du receveur et marquer sur le receveur avec un crayon.
Aligner le rebord extérieur du montant du mur avec la marque sur le rebord de douche.
REMARQUE: Le montant du mur doit reposer à plat sur le rebord inférieur. Si les angles du rebord sont
arrondis au niveau des murs latéraux, il peut être nécessaire de les limer pour les former.
Niveler le montant de mur à l’aide d’un niveau à bulle.
Marquer au crayon les cinq orifices de montage mural.
IMPORTANT! Pour des murs en carreaux de céramique, utiliser un poinçon pour marquer légèrement
l’emplacement des cinq orifices pour le montant du mur, avant de percer.
Percer lentement un trou de 5/16″tel que marqué dans les emplacements marqués pour les orifices.
Pousser et maintenir les ailes de chaque ancrage mural (fournis) ensemble et les insérer dans les
trous de montage préalablement percés.
Répéter la procédure pour tous les ancrages muraux.
Nettoyer minutieusement le rebord et le mur de tous débris.
Répéter la procédure ci-dessus pour le montant du mur restant.

2. Installer les blocs de réglage
Poser les deux montants du mur sur une surface plane avec le rebord vers le haut.
Glisser un bloc de réglage dans chaque extrémité du canal de chaque montant du mur.
Positionner chaque bloc de réglage sur l’orifice de chaque extrémité de montant du mur entre
chacune des rainures.
Avec un tournevis à tête plate, engager en tapotant le rebord du montant du mur sur les rebords
des blocs de réglage. Ceci va sécuriser les blocs de réglage en place.
Placer le bout d’un tournevis cruciforme dans l’orifice du bloc de réglage supérieur. En utilisant le
pouce et l’index, tourner les blocs de réglage dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à ce
qu’ils soient à ras du montant du mur. Ne pas pivoter les blocs de réglage au-delà de la mise à
niveau.
Répéter cette procédure avec le second montant du mur.
3. Installation des montants de la paroi
Aligner les orifices du montant du mur avec les orifices percés dans le mur.
Sécuriser le montant du mur avec les vis à tête ronde #8-18 x 1-1/4″.
Répéter cette procédure avec le second montant du mur.

4. Installer les panneaux fixes
Glisser le cadre du mur du panneau fixe sur le montant du mur.
Reposer le panneau fixe sur le rebord de douche.
REMARQUE: Réaliser les procédures ci-dessous de l’intérieur de la douche.
Placer le bout d’un tournevis cruciforme dans l’orifice du bloc de réglage supérieur. En utilisant le
pouce ou l’index, tourner les blocs de réglage vers la gauche jusqu’à ce qu’ils soient fermement en
contact avec le cadre du mur.
Répéter les étapes précédentes pour le bloc de réglage inférieur.
Sécuriser le cadre du mur au mur avec deux vis à tête plate #8-18 x 3″.
Répéter la procédure avec l’autre panneau latéral.
Vérifier que les panneaux latéraux reposent fermement contre le rebord de la douche.

5. Installer les rouleaux sur les panneaux amovibles
Assembler deux rouleaux sur chaque panneau amovible avec des vis #8-32 x 3/8″.
S’assurer que le côté en acier du rouleau soit contre la bride du cadre supérieur.
6. Installer les clips en plastique
Insérer un clip en plastique dans chaque rainure de guide du cadre inférieur du panneau amovible.
S’assurer que les clips en plastique soient complètement poussés à fond dans chaque rainure.
Répéter cette procédure pour l’autre panneau amovible.

7. Installer les panneaux amovibles
Avec le dessus du panneau amovible incliné vers soi, insérer les rouleaux dans la rainure du rail
supérieur. Glisser la base du panneau amovible sur la rainure du rail inférieur.
Re-glisser le panneau amovible en position d’ouverture.
Répéter la procédure ci-dessus pour installer l’autre panneau amovible.
Placer les deux panneaux amovibles en position fermée.
Vérifier que les deux panneaux amovibles s’enclenchent en angle.
REMARQUE: Si nécessaire, les panneaux amovibles doivent être ajustés un à la fois. Pour ajuster,
desserrer les vis de rouleaux et incliner le panneau pour accomplir un réglage fin. Resserrer toutes les vis
de rouleau. Ajuster l’autre panneau amovible, si nécessaire.
8. Installer les butées
Du dessus du cadre du mur, mesurer et faire une marque à 4″(10,2 cm) vers le bas et 3/4″(2 cm) à
l’intérieur.
De la base du cadre du mur, mesurer et faire une marque à 4″(10,2 cm) vers le bas et 3/4″(2 cm) à
l’intérieur.
Retirer le papier de rembourrage des butées en caoutchouc.
Centraliser les butées en caoutchouc sur les positions marquées de chaque cadre du mur.

9. Installer les insertions du rail
Glisser les insertions de rail supérieur/inférieur dans les rails supérieurs/inférieurs.
10. Installer les supports en angle et les butées
REMARQUE: Les butées des supports en angle supérieurs et inférieurs ne sont pas identiques. Les butées
des rails supérieurs sont marquées ″T″. Les butées des rails inférieurs sont marquées ″B″.
REMARQUE: Réaliser les procédures ci-dessous de l’intérieur de la douche.
Glisser le support supérieur en angle dans chaque ouverture du rail supérieur.
Placer les butées marquées ″T″dans le rail supérieur et aligner les orifices des butées avec ceux du
rail supérieur.
Attacher le support en angle et les butées aux rails supérieurs avec deux vis #8-18 x 7/8″.
Serrer les vis avec un tournevis. Ne pas trop serrer.
Répéter cette procédure pour le rail inférieur en utilisant les butées marquées ″B″.
