Please read these instructions carefully to familiarize
yourself with the required tools, materials, and installation
sequences. Follow the sections that pertain to your
particular installation. This will help you avoid costly
mistakes. In addition to proper installation, read all
operating and safety instructions.
All information in these instructions is based upon the
latest product information available at the time of
publication. Kohler China reserves the right to make
changes in product characteristics, packaging, or
availability at any time without notice.
Before installing the bathroom furniture, please make sure
that all the necessary electrical work are finished.
Make sure the finished wall is straight and plumb, and the
floor is flat and perendicular to the finished wall.
Remove any moldings that may inhibit the vanity from
being flush against the finished wall.
It is recommended that the drawer, door(s), and shelf be
removed from the cabinet before beginning the cabinet
installation. Doing so will ease the installation process.
Refer to the sections contained in this guide for proper
removal.
Turn off the water supply.
The pluming installation must comply with Water Supply
Regulations/Bye-laws, Building Regulations or any
particular regulations and practices, specified by the local
water company or water undertakers. The installation
should be carried out by a plumber.
Before installation carefully inspect the new fixture for any
signs of damage.

ORDERING INFORMATION
This installation covers the following products in the
PERSUADE range:

SAFETY: WARNINGS
Kohler products are precision-engineered and should give
continued superior and safe performance, provided:
1. They are installed, commissioned, operated and
maintained in accordance with the recommendations given
in this Manual.
2. Periodic attention is given, as necessary, to maintain the
product in good functional order. Recommended
guidelines are given in the section.
Carefully inspect the new fixture for any signs of damage.
When installing Kohler Products, manufacturers guidelines for
power tool safety should be followed.

INSTALLATION
A. Install the Plumbing and Accessories
Install the services.
Hot (H) and Cold (C) inlets must be connected to the correct
inlet pipes.
Install the drain in accordance with the manufacturer s
instructions.
We suggest using P-trap drain. Connect P-trap pipe with
washbasin drain.
Make sure a watertight seal exisits on all
washbasin drain connections.
Provide access to the plumbing connections
for future plumbing maintenance.
The hot and cold water supplies must be installed with
isolating valves.

Lift and place the vanity in position against the finished
wall, as shown.
Verify the vanity is level and plumb. If necessary, turn each
leveler (clockwise to raise, counterclockwise to lower).
Drill pilot holes through the rear rail, finished wall, and into
the backing material. Insert lag bolts into the holes, then
tighten the lag bolts.
Do not drag the vanity in position.

Caution!
Note:
Avoid the cables and
pipes inner set when drilling in
the wall.
Different types of bolts are
required for different decoration boards.
Please apply suitable bolts and plugs.

C. Install the Lavatory

Install the faucet to the lavatory according to the faucet
manufacturer's instructions.
Do not allow caulk to come in contact with the
drawer slides and carriage.
Apply a thin, continuous bead of siliconized acrylic caulk
around the entire top edge of the vanity.
The lavatory is
very heavy. Get help lifting the lavatory into place.
Center the lavatory from side-to-side on the vanity.
Wipe away excess caulk from the edges and any caulk
that may have come into contact with the drawer slides
and carriage.
Allow the caulk to cure for at least eight hours.
Connect all plumbing and drain lines. Check for leaks.
With the frosted side down, carefully place the glass shelf
on the tabs of the lower rails.

Fully extend the rails, then slide the carriages forward.
Align the grooves on the underside of the drawer with the
rails, then set the drawer into place.
Hold the drawer in place on the rails, then close the drawer.
Repeat this step for the remaining rail.
To ensure the drawer is
properly installed, ensure the latches are engaged on
the drawer.
Ensure the drawer is locked into place by lightly lifting the
front of the drawer upward. If the drawer does not lift up, it
is properly engaged. If the drawer lifts up, repeat the
procedure.
Slide the drawer in and out of the vanity to ensure smooth
operation.

Slide the drawer out on the rails until fully extended.
Press both release latches to the left, then pull the front of
the drawer up off the rails.
Lift the drawer out from the vanity.

Apply a small amount of leverage to the door with one
hand to keep the door in the full open position. With the
other hand, slide the hinge back toward you, then outward
away from the door.
Get assistance supporting the door to ease the
installation process.
Line up the pin with the cup of the top hinge.
Snap the latch onto the top bracket.
Repeat for the lower hinge.
Hold and support the door with one hand while releasing
the lower hinge latch from the bracket.
Refer to the illustration and note the screwdriver location
for desired adjustment type.
