UNIT DESCRIPTION
The Miro Decorator DRD5 Wireless House Scene Controller provides instant
recall of five user-recorded lighting scenes (or presets) across the entire
house.TheDRD5isawhole-housecontroller.Itisusedincombinationwithany
number of Miro Decorator wireless dimming or non-dimming devices.
The DRD5 can be differentiated from a Wireless Room Scene
Controller by the icon on its front, which resembles the outline of a
house exterior.
Typical locations for installing Miro Decorator wireless scene controllers are
inside the front door, the door from the garage, and the master bedroom. With
two or more controllers, you can control up to ten scenes in the house (see
OPERATIONsection).Youcaninstalladditionalhousescenecontrollersto
control those scenes from other locations in the house.
The Miro Decorator wireless house scene controller works as part of a Miro
Decoratorwirelesssystem.ItcancontrolavarietyofMiroDecoratorwireless
devices including dimmers, switches, appliance plugs and lamp plugs to create
up to five scenes. For example:
• Setthehousetosleep,turnlightsoffdownstairsbutleavelow-levelpathway
lighting for the kids to find the bathroom.
• Lightupthewholehouseforapartysetting.
• Createalightingtrailtogetyouthroughyourmorningandeveningroutines,
turning on the lights in dressing rooms, hallways and the kitchen, and perhaps
aTVorradiosoyoucanlistentothenews.
Note: To control a single room, use a Miro Decorator wireless room scene
controller (a wall mounted DRD6 or a handheld MRH6G remote).
Miro Wireless

control lighting and other types of electric loads in selected areas. Miro wireless
devicesusethe900MHzbandforhigh-speedcontrolcommunication.Usingthe
patented “frequency-agile” Top Dog™ technology, Miro wireless devices avoid
interferencewithother900MHzdevices,suchascordlessphonesandbaby
monitors.
