7. SETTINGS
- Default settings:
•Preset time delay: 15 min.
•Sensitivity: PIR 100 %, Ultrasound 75 %
•Brightness threshold: 500 lux
•Initial detection: by PIR and US (the load is activated if both
technologies detect a presence).
•Holding: by PIR or US (the load is kept activated if either of the
technologies detects a presence).
•Passage mod: active
In passage mode the lighting controlled by the detector is briefly
switched on when a presence is detected.
It the presence leaves the room before 20 seconds are up, the
detector will cut the load 3 minutes after the initial detection. If it stays
for more than 20 seconds, the normal time-out perion is activated.
•Re-triggering: active (by PIR or US).
- Modifying settings using configuration tools
•882 35: basic configuration tool
•882 30: advanced configuration tool
When the detector receives an IR command from a configuration tool, it
confirms that it has received an registered the modification by emitting
an audible beep.
- Modifiable parameters:
•Brightness threshold: 20, 100, 300, 500, 1000 lux with 882 35,
0 to 1275 lux with 882 30.
•Time delay: 3, 5,10,15, 20 min. with 882 35
0 to 59 min. 59 sec. with 882 30
•Audible alert (882 30): when this mode is active, the detector emits
an audible alert 1 minute, 30 seconds and 10
seconds before time-out.
•Detection system (882 30):
- Initial detection (US or IR; US and IR; US only / IR only)
- holding (US or IR; US and IR; US only / IR only)
- re-triggering (US or IR; US and IR; US only / IR only; deactivated)
if re-triggering is active.
•Modes:
- passage mode (default setting)
- manual ON / auto OFF (in this mode, any new detection within 30
seconds after switch-off automatically retriggers the light. Any new
detection after 30 seconds requires manual re-activation).
- Auto ON / Auto OFF (in this mode, any new detection automatically
retriggers the light if there is insufficient light).
•PIR, US sensitivity: low, medium, high, ultra high.
7. SETTINGS (cont.)
•Advanced modes (882 30) :
- Calibation: 0 to 99995 lux
To increase the accuracy of the detector, it is possible to measure
ambient lighting using a luxmeter. This operation ensures that the
measurement made indeed corresponds to the expected value.
If this is not the case, it is possible to define a new reference
threshold in the detector.
- Regulation: Activated/Deactivated.
Load is automatically cut when the brightness threshold is reached.
- Apport de lumière : auto à 1275 lux
C’est la quantité de lux supplémentaire apportée par l’allumage
de la charge.
- Reset to default parameters:
1st press: press LEARN briefly, the LED blinks slowly.
2nd press: hold for 10 seconds, LED blinks rapidly.
8. PERFORMANCE
9. CLEANING
Ensure the lens remains clean.
Surface cleaning using a cloth.
Do not use: acetone, tar remover or trichloroethylene.
Resistant to the following products: - Hexane (EN 60669-1),
- Methylated spirit,
- Soapy water,
- Diluted ammonia,
- 10% bleach solution,
- Window cleaning products,
- Moist towelettes.
WARNING: conduct preliminary tests before using any other
specific cleaning products.
