1. Safety Warnings
• WARNING: Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance en-
closure or in the built-in structure, clear of obstructions.

• The appliance has to be unplugged after use and before carrying
out user maintenance on the appliance.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including chil-
dren) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given super-
vision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufac-
turer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to
avoid a hazard.

2. INSTALLATION
2.1 Location
When selecting a location for your unit you should make sure the
floor is flat and firm, and the room is well ventilated. Avoid locating
your unit near a heat source, e.g. cooker, boiler or radiator. Also
avoid direct sunlight as it may increase the electrical consumption.
Extreme cold ambient temperatures may also cause the unit not to
perform properly. This unit is not designed for use in a garage or
outdoor installation. Do not drape the unit with any covering.
When installing the unit, ensure that 1/8 inch of free space is left at
both sides, 1 inch at the rear and 1/8 inch at the top of the unit. This
will allow cold air to circulate around the refrigerator and improve
the efficiency of the cooling process.
2.2 Reversing the Door Swing
NOTES:
When reversing the door swing: Read the instructions all the way
through before starting. Handle parts carefully to avoid scratching
the paint. Set screws down by their related parts to avoid using
them in the wrong places. Provide a non-scratching work surface for
the doors.
IMPORTANT: Once you begin, do not move the cabinet until door-
swing reversal is completed. These instructions are for changing the
hinges from the hinges back to the right side, follow these same in-
structions and reverse all references to left and right.
Unplug the refrigerator from its electrical outlet.

Tools You Will Need
Phillips screwdriver
Putty knife and thin-blade
screwdriver
Masking tape
1/5" Socket and ratchet
Remove Freezer Door
1. Remove all food from the inner door liner.
2. Tape the door shut with masking tape.
3. Remove one screw and hinge cover on top of the freezer door
with a Phillips screwdriver.
4. Remove the 3 screws with a 1/5" socket and ratchet, then lift the
hinge straight up to free the hinge pin from the socket in the top
of the door.
5. Remove the tape and tilt the door away from the cabinet. Lift it
off the center hinge pin.
6. Remove the hole cover with a thin-blade screwdriver on the other
side of top hinge.
NOTE: Do not misplace the washer located on the top side of the
center hinge pin. Set the door on a non-scratching surface with the
inside up.

Remove Refrigerator Door
1. Remove all food from the inner door liner.
2. Tape the door shut with masking tape.
3. Remove the center hinge by removing 3 hinge screws with a 1/5"
socket and ratchet. Lift the hinge pin up and out of the door.
4. Remove the tape and tilt the door away from the cabinet. Lift the
door straight up to free its bottom socket from the pin in the bot-
tom hinge bracket.
5. Set the door on a non-scratching surface with the inside up.
CAUTION: Do not let door drop to the floor. To do so could damage
the door stop.
Remove Bottom Hinge
1. Using a 1/5" socket and ratchet, remove the 4 screws from the
bottom hinge. Taking care not to misplace the washer on the bot-
tom hinge, move the bottom hinge from the right to the left side.
NOTE: If the washer is not on the hinge bracket, check to see if it
is stuck to the bottom of the door.
2. Change axis of the bottom hinge to the other side with a thin-
blade screwdriver.

Transfer Door Stops
On each door, move the metal door stop from the right to the left.
Move any screws from the left to the right with a Phillips screw-
driver.
Reversing Door Handles – Transfer Freezer Door
Handle to the Right Side of the Refrigerator Door
1. Remove the two screws securing the bottom end of the handle
with a Phillips screwdriver.
2. Rotate the handle out and lift off of the mounting screw on the
freezer door.
3. Remove the mounting screw from the surface of the freezer door.

4. Insert the mounting screw into the surface of the right side of the
refrigerator door with a Phillips screwdriver.
5. Align the handle with the mounting screw.
6. Push the handle down.
7. Secure the top end of the handle by inserting two screws and
tightening them with a Phillips screwdriver.
NOTE: Do not overtighten.
