Tragehinweis
Wenn vom Arzt nicht anders verordnet
legen Sie die Bandage spätestens nach
8 Stunden für ca. 2 Stunden ab. Danach
können Sie die Bandage wieder anlegen.
Anziehanleitung
• Die Bandage um den Leib legen (Abb.
1). Schieben Sie die Finger dazu in die
dafür vorgesehenen Handschlaufen.
• Pressen Sie nun die linke Verschlusseite
auf den Bauch. Legen Sie die rechte
Verschlusseite so weit darüber, dass
ein Aufkletten möglich ist. (Abb. 2)
• Beim Aufkletten zuerst die Finger
aus der linken, dann aus der rechten
Schlaufe ziehen (Abb. 3).
Ziehen Sie die Bandage so tief, dass die
Bandagenunterkante kurz über der
Leiste sitzt. Tragen Sie die Bandage stets
unter der Kleidung.
Pflegehinweise
Klettverschlüsse müssen zum Waschen
geschlossen werden. Weichspüler, Fette,
Öle, Lotionen und Salben können das
Bandagenmaterial angreifen. Seifen-
rückstände können Hautirritationen
und Materialverschleiß
hervorrufen.
• Waschen Sie das Produkt, vorzugs-
weise mit medi clean Waschmittel,
von Hand, oder im Schonwaschgang
bei 30°C mit Feinwaschmittel ohne
Weichspüler.

Zweckbestimmung
Die Lumbamed active ist eine Orthese
zur Stabilisierung der Lendenwirbelsäu-
le.
Indikationen
Alle Indikationen, bei denen eine
Stabilisierung der LWS notwendig ist, wie
z. B.:
• Lumbalgie
• Muskuläre Insuffizienz
• Schmerzzustände im lumbosakralen
Übergang
Kontraindikationen
Zur Zeit nicht bekannt
Risiken / Nebenwirkungen
Es kann bei fest anliegenden Hilfsmit-
teln zu örtlichen Druckerscheinungen
oder Einengung von Blutgefäßen oder
Nerven kommen. Deshalb sollten Sie bei
folgenden Umständen vor der Anwen-
dung mit Ihrem behandelnden Arzt
Rücksprache halten:
• Erkrankungen oder Verletzungen der
Haut im Anwendungsbereich, vor
allem bei entzündlichen Anzeichen
(übermäßige Erwärmung, Schwellung
oder Rötung)
• Empfindungs- und Durchblutungsstö-
rungen (z.B. bei Diabetes, Krampfa-
dern)
• Lymphabflussstörungen – ebenso
nicht eindeutige Schwellungen von
Weichteilen abseits des Anwendungs-
bereichs
Beim Tragen von eng anliegenden
Hilfsmitteln kann es zu örtlichen
Hautreizungen bzw. Irritationen
kommen, die auf eine mechanische
Reizung der Haut (vor allem in

Intended purpose
Lumbamed active is a brace for
stabilizing the lumbar spine.
Indications
All indications which require stabilisation
of the lumbar vertebrae, such as:
• Lower back pain (lumbago)
• Muscular insufficiency
• Painful conditions of the lumbosacral
junction
Contraindications
None known to date
Risks / Side Effects
If the aids are too tight, this can cause
local pressure sores or constriction of
blood vessels or nerves. Therefore you
should consult the doctor treating you
before you use it if the following
circumstances apply to you:
• Condition or injury of the skin in the
area of application, particularly with
infectious indications (excessive heat,
swelling or reddening)
• Paraesthesia and circulatory disorders
(e.g. as seen in diabetes, varicose veins)
• Lymph drainage disorders – equally,
swelling of soft tissue adjacent to the
area of application which is not related
to a condition
When wearing snug-fitting aids, this can
result in localised skin inflammation or
irritation that is due to mechanical
irritation of the skin (particularly in
conjunction with sweating) or due to the
composition of the material.
Intended patient groups
Healthcare professionals should provide
care to the adults and children, applying
the available information on the
measurements/sizes and necessary
functions/indications and in line with
the information provided by the
manufacturer, and acting under their
own responsibility.
Note on wearing
Unless otherwise directed by your
doctor, do not wear the support for more
than 8 hours at a time. After a break of
approx. 2 hours it may then be put on
again.
Fitting instructions
• Wrap the support around the body
(fig.1) putting your fingers in the loops
as illustrated.
• Press the left side of the fastener
against your stomach. Put the right
side over the left one and fasten it
(fig. 2)
• When closing the strap, please pull out
the left fingers first, then the right ones
(fig. 3).
The support should be pulled down until
the lower edge is just above the groin.
Always wear the support under your
clothes.
Care instructions
Hook and loop fasteners should be
closed for washing. Fabric softeners,
grease, oil, lotions and ointments can
affect the bandaging material. Soap
residues can cause skin irritations and
wearing of the material.
• Wash the product by hand, preferably
using a medi clean detergent, or in
delicate cycle at 30°C using a mild
detergent without fabric conditioners.
• Do not bleach.
• Leave to dry naturally.
• Do not iron.
• Do not dry clean.

Keep the product in a dry place and do
not expose to direct sunlight.

specialist medical retailer directly. Only
serious incidents which could lead to a
significant deterioration in health or to
death are to be reported to the
manufacturer or the relevant authorities
in the EU member state. The criteria for
serious incidents are defined in
Section2, No. 65 of the Regulation (EU)
2017/745 (MDR). The traceability of this
product is assured via a UDI code .
