Carefully slide the base trim cover over the pillar tube,
and screw the mounting plate into the bottom of the
pillar tube.
Locate the bath filler in its intended mounting position
as per the dimensions shown in the diagram. Check that
the mixer handle operation is not restricted by the bath
or any adjacent walls.
Mark the location of the three mounting holes through
the mounting plate. Carefully place the bath filler aside.
Align the template on the back page with the three
mounting holes, and mark the centre of the water
supply hole.
Drill pilot holes for the floor fixings - ø mm for wood
floor or ø mm for concrete floor.
Carefully lay the bath filler on the floor and insert the
flexible hoses through the water supply hole. Connect
the flexible hoses to the hot and cold supplies, and leak
test the connections prior to mounting the bath filler.
Raise the bath filler, align the mounting plate with the
fixing holes, and attach to the floor with the
appropriate floor fixings.
Slide the base trim cover down to the floor, and apply
silicone to create a seal with the floor surface.
Insert the spout into the mixer body, and firmly tighten
the grub screw at the back of the mixer body.
Connect the shower hose to the mixer body, and the
other end of the shower hose to the handset.
Installation:
IMPORTANT: This product needs to be mounted on
a sturdy floor surface of at least mm thickness.

Care and Cleaning:

Never use abrasives or abrasive cleaning
agents to clean this product. Clean regularly
with contamination free warm soapy water and
a damp soft cloth.
To avoid injury, do not use the bath filler as a
support to enter or exit the bath. The bath
filler is not designed to support weight.
IMPORTANT: Please read all of the
instructions before installation.
General:
Methven recommends this product is installed
by a licensed plumber in compliance with all
relevant regional regulations.
Do not hydrostatic test the installation with
this mixer installed. Damage to the ceramic
cartridge may occur.
All pipe work must be thoroughly flushed prior
to the installation of the mixer.
In-line filters must be fitted on both hot and
cold supplies to prevent foreign particles
damaging the ceramic cartridge.
Do not remove the ceramic cartridge from the
mixer when installing.
After installation all connections must be
checked for leaks.
All outlets used primarily for personal hygiene
shall deliver water at a safe temperature as per
regional regulations.
This mixer is not recommended for use in
uncontrolled heating systems such as
wet-backs or solar heating units unless a
suitable tempering valve is fitted.
If limited water flow is experienced, locate
aerator and filter washers and clean away
foreign material as required.
It is the responsibility of the installer to ensure
a waterproof seal is achieved between the
product and mounting surface. If in doubt
about the quality of the seal, remove the
product and reinstall using silicone to ensure a
seal is achieved.

Cut the central water supply hole, ø mm for
wooden floor, or ø x mm for concrete, to
accomodate the hose fittings. The under floor supply
pipework requires 1/2” BSP male connections within
± mm of the mounting plate base.
