IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
1. To ensure familiarity with the controls, safety features, and operation
of your heater -Read all instructions before using.
2. Do not insert foreign objects through the intake or discharge grilles.
3. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children without supervision.
4. Disconnect the cord from the outlet before cleaning. A heater should
never be used under conditions where it may be immersed, or come
in contact with water. Similarly do not plug in your heater if its
surfaces are damp.
5. Do not use the appliance on the same socket or electric circuit with
other electrical appliances so as to prevent the circuit from being
overloaded, which will cause fire. Please do not extend the power
cords by yourself or use extension cords or power boards.
6. Unplug heater by grasping plug and pulling it from the outlet. NEVER
PULL ON CORD.
7. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by its service agent
or a similar qualify person in order to avoid hazard.
8. Do not use in locations when the heater will be left unattended for long
periods of time. (for example - several weeks in an unoccupied
summer cottage)
9. Do not use attachments not recommended and sold by MIDEA
distributor.
10. Loose connections between the heater plug and the electrical outlet
may cause the plug to overheat.
11. Ensure no other appliances are plugged into the same circuit as
your heater. A circuit overload could occur resulting in dimmed lights,
blown fuses, tripped circuit breakers, or fire hazard.
12. The heater is intended for household indoor use only.
13. The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
14. Warning: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.

15. Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a
shower or a swimming pool.
16.Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless
continuously supervised. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8
years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been
placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in,
regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
17. CAUTION — Some parts of this product can become very hot and
cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and
vulnerable people are present.
18. The heater must not be located in front of a socket-outlet.
19.
Correct Disposal of this product:
This marking indicates that this product should not be
disposed with other household wastes. To prevent
possible harm to the environment or human health from
uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to
promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To
return your used device, please use the return and
collection systems or contact the retailer where the
product was purchased. They can take this product for
environmental safe recycling.
WARNING: IN ORDER TO AVOID OVERHEATING, DO NOT COVER
THE HEATER.

CAUTION
1. Never use the unit in places where floors are not even or unstable.
2. Do not insert and pull out the plug with wet hand, as this may cause
electrical shock.
3. The heater must only be used in the upright position. Never use when
the unit is fallen over.
4. The unit should be far away from the objects that are flammable.
5. Avoid damaging the paint surface as this may cause rust.
6. Unit surface temperature of the flanges is high, thus do not touch it
except handle, knobs.
7. Don't heat wet clothing etc. on the surface of the control chamber.
8. It is not recommended to use an extension cord.
WARNING
1. The surface temperature of the flanges is high during use, thus
closely supervise any children in the area of this appliance.
2. Do not use on a wet place to prevent electrical shock.
3. Do not use out of the house.
4. If malfunctions happen during operation please take to appointed
service center with the purchase receipt. Never disassemble it by
yourself.
5. Be sure to pull out the plug from an outlet when not in use and before
cleaning.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
CHOOSE THE LOCATION
1. The heater is an appliance which can be portable or be mountable.
2. Do not locate the heater near any furniture, curtains or other
appliances. Keep the heater at least 1 metre away from other objects
such as furniture, drapes, or plants.
3. Do not locate the heater in corners.
4. Make sure to position the heater away from doors and windows.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
Warning! Before you install your heater, please make sure the heater is
in Off position and is disconnected from power supply.
A. For free-standing use
Accessories for free-standing use:
ŸInsert pic
ŸWheel plates: 2pcs
ŸShort screws: 4pcs
1) Turn the heater body upside down.
2) Fix the two wheel plates to the heater with the
four screws supplied.
3) Turn the heater to its normal position and put it
in an even and stable place.
4) The heater is ready to use as free-standing
now.
B. For wall mounted use
When mounting the heater on the wall,
make sure the minimum distance (1m to
the wall and 0.6m below the floor) as
specified in Fig 1 should be available.

Please follows below steps to install as a wall mounted heater:
1. Take the brackets A, B and C and assemble
them together with four screws (D), see Fig
2.
2. Insert the bracket assembly into the back
holes (E) of the heater body, see Fig 3 and
then slide the assembly up to match the
inclined plane of the back cover.
3. Fix the bracket assembly to the heater body
with 2 screws (D), see Fig 4.
4. Drill 2 holes with a distance of 638mm
between (G) with a diameter of 8 mm;
insert 2 expansion bolts (H) and 2 long bolts
(I) into the hole. The explored length of the
long bolts should be over 5mm, see Fig 5.
Warning! When drilling holes, always check
to ensure there is no wiring, pipe work, etc
in the area to be drilled.
5. Hang the product on the 2 bolts and slide it
to a stable position. See Fig 6.

OPERATING INSTRUCTION
There are 6 function buttons on the side of the heater (see Fig 6),
function are as follows:

+ Increase the temperature and timer setting
- Decrease the temperature and timer setting
PRODUCT DIGITAL DISPLAY OVERVIEW
Description of each symbol
: High setting: when the high setting is selected, the “ ” digit in the
display will illuminate.
: Low setting: when the low setting is selected, the “ ” digit in
the display will illuminate.
: Timer: when the ON/OFF timer is set to ON, the will illuminate.
: When setting the temperature or timer, the digits will flash.
: Displays the current room temperature.
Turning on the heater
Plug the heater into the mains supply; press the main “I /0” switch to the
" I " position, then press the button to turn the heater ON. Press the
button again to turn the heater OFF.

Setting the heating mode
There are two heat settings on this heater (the default setting is High),
press the “M” button to select the heating setting.
1. High: 1500W, will illuminate.
2. Low: 750W, will illuminate.
Setting the temperature
In order to set the temperature, the heater has to be working at heating
mode: High or Low. Press the "+" or "-" button, the temperature digit
will flash, continue to press the "+" or "-" button to set the desired
temperature (temperature range: 5 - 35 °C). After about 5 seconds
without pressing, the display will show the current temperature, now the
desired temperature is set.
NOTE: If the current temperature is higher than the set temperature, the
heater will stop working, for example, you set 20°C, but room
temperature is 25°C, the heater will not work.
Timer setting
A: Setting the timer to turn heater ON automatically
In order to set this function, the heater must be turned off firstly. Press
the timer button , will illuminate and “0” will flash on the display.
Press “+” or “-“button to set the desired time (0 - 24hrs) for the heater to
turn on automatically. After the time is set, the room temperature will
show on the display.
B: Setting the timer to turn heater OFF automatically
In order to set this function, heater must be in working status. Press the
timer button , will illuminate and “0” will flash on the display. Press
“+” or “-“button to set the desired time (0 - 24hrs) for the heater to turn off
automatically. After the time is set, the room temperature will show on
the display.
C: Cancelling a timer setting
When the timer indicator is illuminated, pressing the button will cancel
the timer setting.
D: Checking the ON/OFF time
When the ON/OFF timer is set, press the to check the time setting.

Using the remote control
There are five function buttons on remote control, function are as
follows:

The remote control function is same as the button on the heater body, it
allows you to operate easily. When using remote control, it should be
aimed at receiving window of the unit, effective distance is around 6
meters.
If the remote control does not operate the unit when pointed directly at it,
replace the battery.
a) Open the cover, remove the old battery and replace with the same
battery type. Always observe the correct polarity when installing the
battery.
b) Do not mix new and old batteries.
c) Replace a battery immediately once it is exhausted to prevent
leakage.
d) Remove the battery if the remote control is not used for long periods.
e) Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable battery.
f) Do not dispose of the battery in a fire as they may explode.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
If your heater fails to operate, please follow these instructions:
1. Ensure that your circuit breaker or fuse is working properly.
2. Be sure the heater is plugged in and that the electrical outlet is
working properly.
3. Check for any obstruction. If you find any obstruction, turn the heater
off. Unplug the heater and wait a few minutes for it to cool down.
Carefully remove the obstruction.
4. Plug the heater in and turn it on again by referring to the OPERATING
INSTRUCTION.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTION
Warning! Always disconnect the mains power supply and allow it to cool
completely before cleaning the unit.
The outside can be cleaned by wiping it over with a soft damp cloth.
Wipe dry with a clean cloth before operating the heater. Do not use
abrasive cleaning powder or solvents.
This heater requires no particular maintenance.
To store your product in the off-season, we recommend using the
original (or appropriately sized) box. It is important to keep it in a safe,
dry location.
REMEMBER - portable electric heaters are designed for spot heating,
or as a supplementary heat source. They are not intended to be main
sources of heat during the normal heating season.
Note: There may be trace of smoke or odour when unit is first operated.
Do not be alarmed. This indicates that a drop of oil fell on the heating coil
during the manufacturing process. It will quickly evaporate, and should
not re-occur.
