Installation for BX 9603, BX 6603, and BX 6632 under the kitchen’s cabinet
.
1. Drill a hole in the kitchen cabinet. The size of the hole for the
exhaust hood should be proportional with the product (see placing
hole size specifications table).
2. Make 1 hole with minimum diameter of 120 mm under the kitchen
cabinet at the back side for the air exhaust.
3. Drill 6 holes with diameters of 4 mm, under kitchen cabinet.
4. Install the hood into the built-in hole and then tighten using the 6
screws provided.
5.
Install 2 pieces holders’ accessories on the bottom of the hood in
order to keep the gap between the back side of the hood and the
kitchen cabinet
.
Installation for BX 6503 on the kitchen’s cabinet
1. Drill a hole in the kitchen cabinet. The size of the hole for the
exhaust hood should be proportional with the product (check the
hole’s size specifications table).
2. Make 1 hole with a diameter of 150 mm for the exhaust pipe.
3. Remove the aluminum filter and remove 4 screws from the control
panel.
4. Install the hood into the built-in hole and then tighten using 6
screws available.
5. Reassembly the control panel and tighten using 4screws.
6. Connect the exhaust pipe on the exhaust hole in the unit.
OPERATING METHODS
MODENA Exhaust Hood has 2 (two) operating methods as follows:
DUCTING / EXHAUST System
:
•
In this method, the exhaust hood operates by sucking the smoke /
smells produces in cooking and then releasing it out using the
exhaust pipe.
•
A heat / fire-resistant ducting system is required to release the
smoke / odor out of the exhaust pipe.
•
Connect the exhaust hood with the exhaust vent with a minimum
diameter of 4 inch or 120 mm for BX 9603 and BX 6603 or the
minimum diameter of 6 inch or 150 mm for BX6503 and BX 6632.
Several things that require attention in installing the ducting system exhaust hood:
1.
Carbon filter must be removed, it only require Aluminum Filter.
2.
If the exhaust hood will be installed in a multi-storied building or an apartment, consult with the person in
charge of the building / apartment before installing the exhaust system.
3.
Exhaust hood with ducting system should be used in an open-air room with good air circulation.
