2. MOVING THE MACHINE
This machine is fi ed wi h cas ors o make i easier o move. Take care when
moving he machine on an inclined surface.
The overall heigh of he machine is 2080mm. Take care of any overhead
obs ruc ions. (e.g. Ligh Fi ings, Elec ric Cables e c.)
3. INSTALLATION
WARNING  NEVER urn he power o he machine ON un il ins alla ion
has been comple ed.
WARNING  In order o preven possible elec ric shocks, be sure ha he
machine is connec ed o he mains wi h a securely connec ed
ear hed plug.
WARNING  So ha cus omers are no injured , ensure ha here is a
leas 500mm separa ion be ween o her machines or walls.
CAUTION  In order to avoid damage to t e mac ine due to mis-operation,
ensure t at t e voltage of t e mains supply is 230volts AC.
NOTE  If t e location site of t is mac ine as a polis ed floor it is
recommended t at rubber pads are fitted under t e level adjusters
to prevent t e mac ine sliding on t e floor.
 In order to gain access to t e Power Supply and CPU assemblies,
make sure t at t e rear of t e mac ine is separated from a wall
or ot er mac ine by at least 500mm.
This machine is designed for INDOOR USE ONLY.

4-1 En ering he Tes Mode
1. To enter test mode, slide t e TEST switc , located on t e service bracket inside
t e coin door, to t e ON position. T e following screen will be displayed.

4-1-1 Selec ing and Adjus ing I ems
1. Pus t e Player 1 Joystick up or down to scroll t roug t e test items.
The test will change to red on the display.
2. Press t e Player 1 Button Switc 1 to enter t e selected test.
Details of t e adjustments are explained in t e following pages.
4-1-2 Finishing he Tes Mode
1. Pus t e Player 1 Joystick up or down to select EXIT & SAVE in t e test menu.
EXIT & SAVE on the display will change to red.
2. Press t e Player 1 Button Switc 1. T e test mode finis es and t e game returns
to normal play mode.
Note: The test mode must be finished as described above. If the Test Mode is
ended any other way, the changes made during the test mode will not be
stored or be effective. The test mode cannot be ended by turning the test
switch off only.
If the Test switch is left in the ON position after testing is completed, the
switch will have to be turned OFF and bac ON to re-enter the Test Mode.

T e following c ecks and adjustments are available in t is mode:-
COLOUR EDIT: Adjustment of t e colour and brig tness output from t e PCB.
CONVERGENCE: Used for t e adjustment of size, position and squareness of t e
monitor display. (Use monitor controls for adjustments).
COLOUR BAR: Used for t e adjustment of t e s ade and tone balance of t e
monitor. (Use monitor controls for adjustments).
1.Select DISPLAY TEST from t e main test menu, (see 4-1-1 page 6), t e
following screen is displayed.

4-2-1 Convergence Tes
1. Press Player 1 Switc 1 to c ange between CONVERGENCE and
COLOUR BAR screens.
2. On t e CONVERGENCE screen t e following cross atc pattern is
displayed.
3. Eac time Player 1 Switc 2 is pressed, t e colour of t e cross atc
pattern c anges in t e following order:- w ite > blue > red > purple >
green > lig t blue > yellow > black > w ite . . . . .
4. If t e pattern size, position or s ape is incorrect, refer to t e monitor manual
for adjustment procedures.
5. Press Player 1 Switc 1 to c ange to t e COLOUR BAR test or press
Player 1 Start Switc to return to t e Test Menu Screen.

1.Select DISPLAY TEST from t e main test menu, (see 4-1-1 page 6).
2. If t e COLOUR BAR screen is not displayed, press Player 1 Switc 1 to
c ange from CONVERGENCE to COLOUR BAR screen. T e following
screen is displayed.
3. Press t e Player 1 Joystick up or down to select t e item to be adjusted
from Contrast, Brig t R, Brig t G, and Brig t B
4. Press t e Player 1 Joystick left or rig t to c ange t e setting of t e selected
item.
5. Repeat items 3 and 4 for eac item to be c anged.
6. Press Player 1 Switc 1 to c ange to t e CONVERGENCE test or press
Player 1 Start Switc to return to t e Test Menu Screen.
