Carefully unpack your Wash'n'Wipe™ Kit, sort the parts, and make sure you have everything required to complete the assembly.

On the dashboard panel to the left of the speedometer are accessory
switch covers. Using a drill, drill some holes in the plastic cover to serve as
starting holes for cutting. Then use your X-Acto® knife to cut out the
cover’s face to the edges shown.

On the hood of the vehicle behind the engine cover on the driver’s side,
measure a point 4.5" from the back of the body and 5/8" from the right at
the point where it slopes downward. Mark that location.

Insert a step drill bit into your drill as shown (or 3/4 hole saw) and drill a
hole in the body cover at the location marked in Figure 02.

Take the UTV Reservoir/Pump Assembly (I) and position it inside the vehi-
cle’s body, under the dash on the driver’s side as shown. Using a marker,
mark inside the holes of the Reservoir’s mounting tabs.

Using a 1/16" (2mm) drill bit, drill two holes at the locations marked in
Figure 5.

Start one Machine Screw (J) and Flat Washer (K) into the right side mount
tab of the Reservoir, then...

...guide it into the forward drilled hole inside the vehicle’s cab. Using anoth-
er Machine Screw (J) and Flat Washer (K), attach the Reservoir’s rear
mount tab to the rear drilled hole in the vehicle’s cab.

Take the Wire Harness and Switch (F) and locate the end of the Rubber
Hose and the Nylon 2-Pin Pump Connector with red and black wires (see
Illustration A).

Take the harness sheath with the red/black wires and Quick-Connector and
fold it against the sheath with the Rubber Hose, as shown. Secure the two
sheaths with a Wire Tie (M) and trim the excess tie with wire cutters.

Insert these wire-tied Harness components under the vehicle’s left (driver’s
side) wheel cover and towards the interior cab’s dash panel.

Keep pushing the wire-tied Harness components until they emerge under
the dash above the cab’s floorboards.

Move inside the cab and pull the wire-tied Harness components until you
can connect the Rubber Hose to the bottom of the Reservoir’s Electrical
Pump. Then push the Nylon Quick-Connector onto the two pins on top of
the Reservoir’s Electrical Pump.

Pull the Wire Harness Terminal (I) (single sheath with Small Nylon 2-Pin
Electrical Quick-Connector and a Rubber Hose) through the 3/4" hole cut
into the vehicle’s body in Figures 3-4, and seat the Harness Grommet (II)
in that hole.
Into the end of the Rubber Hose, insert the Inline Check Valve (E) with the
arrow pointed up.
Continue pulling this Harness Terminal through the hole, routing it along the
frame and to the top center of the windshield where the Motor (A) will later
mount. Leave Wire Harness Terminal (I) in place for now.

Locate the section of Wire Harness that terminates in a Small Silver Nylon
Pin Connector, Small Orange Nylon Pin Connector, and connected Two-
Way Pump Switch (III). Temporarily remove the Pump Switch and thread
the wiring under the hood toward the hole you cut in the dash panel’s
accessory switch cover in Figure 1.

Move inside the vehicle’s cab and secure the two Nylon Pin Connectors.

Reattach the Two-Way Rocker Switch to the two Nylon Pin Connectors
(polarity doesn’t matter) and then push the Rocker Switch into the cutout of
the accessory switch cover.

Locate the end of the Wire Harness that terminates in a Brass Open Ring
Connector (V) as shown. Loosen the positive terminal nut of the vehicle’s
battery with a Philips screwdriver or 10mm wrench.

Slip the Brass Open Ring Connector under the positive terminal nut and
then tighten securely.

Use a Wire-Tie (M) to organize and secure any slack coils of the Wire
Harness and...

...stow the excess coils under the left front wheel cover inside the engine

WIPER MOTOR INSTALLATION
It is recommended that you begin by removing the existing
Windshield prior to installing the Wiper Motor.
Alternately, if your vehicle has no roof, or has a roof that can be
easily detached, you can install the Wiper Motor (A) by standing
up in the cab and installing the motor from the inside while reach-
ing across the top rail to attach the securing hardware.

From the inside of the Windshield, push out the four Plugs in the top center
of Windshield. (Any Conveniently Pointed Tool)
Install Grommet 1/4" I.D. (D) into the far right hole as shown. Install
Grommet 5/16" I.D. (R) from BAG#1368 into the top center hole for the
Wrapround Clamp (N).

If removing the Windshield, loosen and remove the Panhead Philip Screws
from the Wraparound Clamps securing Windshield to the vehicle frame.
Loosen the Velcro® on the bottom section and carefully remove the
Windshield, making sure you don’t lose the the Retaining Pins, Spacing
Washers or the cable guides. Place the Windshield on the floor away from
the vehicle.

Get your M8 Stud Hardware Kit (H) And Spindle Hardware Kit (G) ready,
unpacked, and sorted out. Place the Large Spacer and Flat Rubber Washer
from Kit (G) over the Spindle of the Wiper Motor Assembly (A) as shown.
Place a Small White Nylon Spacer, Small Cup Washer (with the cup facing
outward), and a Small Rubber Washer onto the Motor’s M8 Stud as shown.
Inside of Windshield
NOTE:
Whether you remove the windshield or leave it in place, you will
need to install an additional Wraparound Clamp (N), Machine
Screw (O), Washer (P) and Retaining Pin (Q) from BAG#1368.
This additional Clamp installs on the top middle of the vehicle
frame. Orient the Clamp to match the top left and top right
Clamps, and position it to align with the windshield’s pre-drilled
mounting hole.

From inside the vehicle’s cab, insert the Motor and assembled components
into the Windshield’s mounting holes as shown. Hold the Motor in place
with one hand while you assemble the outer components shown in
Illustration B and Illustration C.
Place the Large Rubber Washer, Large Cup Washer (with the cup facing
the Windshield), and Large Mounting Nut onto the Spindle. Place the Small
Rubber Washer, Small Cup Washer (with the cup facing the Windshield),
and Small Mounting Nut onto the M8 Stud.
The nut on the Spindle (larger) shaft needs to be torqued to
4.5 ft-lbs. (6 N-m).
The nut on the stud (smaller) shaft needs to be torqued to
3 ft-lbs. (4 N-m).
Finally,place the Nylon Spindle Standoff onto the Motor’s Spindle, and the
Black Nylon Nut Cover over the Small Mounting Nut on the M8 Stud as
shown in in Illustration B.

Join the end of the Wiper Arm (B) to the Wiper Blade (C). Place the J-hook
of the Arm over the Blade’s plastic mounting clip until it clicks and locks into
place.

...mount the Wiper Arm over the Motor’s Spindle as shown. Let the
attached rubber hose hang free for right now.

Once the Wiper Arm is on the Spindle, install the Internal Tooth Lock
Washer and Small Mounting Nut as shown in Illustration D.

With a Torque Wrench and 13mm Socket, tighten the Small Mounting Nut
to 16 ft-lbs. (22Nm). Then swivel the mount cover of the Wiper Arm back to
its closed position.
Now take the Wiper Arm’s rubber hose and feed it through the Grommet
(D) you installed in the Windshield in Figure 25.
REINSTALL THE VEHICLE WINDSHIELD
If you chose previously to uninstall the vehicle’s windshield prior to the
Wiper Motor installation, now is the time to reinstall it.
Follow the installation guide in Windshield Installation
Instruction Sheet 10-118624-000.

In Figures 15A/15B previously, you pulled the Wiring Harness of Motor
Hose/Fluid Connector Terminal (I) to follow the vehicle’s frame to the top
center where the Wiper Motor will be located. Now you will position the
Wiring Harness between the Windshield and the Wraparound Clamps to
secure them.

Check that the Wiper Arm Fluid Hose is threaded through the Grommet in
the Windshield to the inside of the cabin. If it is not, do this now.

Connect the Wiper Arm Fluid Hose to the fluid hose from Motor Hose/Fluid
Connector terminal (I) with the Inline Check Valve (E). A little moisture on
the Check Valve ends will make the hoses join easier.
The arrow on the Inline Check Valve (E) must point towards the Wiper
Motor, not towards the Fluid Reservoir.

The Wiper Motor has a on/off Rocker Switch as shown. Turn the switch on
and verify that the Wiper works as expected.

TRICAL WIRING controls the fluid spray. Momentarily hold the Switch in
the on position to spray water from the Wiper Arm. It should spray in four
separate directions.

water level in the Reservoir will be low. Refill it and your UTV will be ready
for work or recreation.

WIPER ARM AND BLADE
Your Wash'n'Wipe Windshield is equipped with a quality silicone Wiper
Blade. Replacement Wiper Blades are available from your local dealer or
by contacting National Cycle.
Replacement Wiper Blade Part Number is N30900.
Replacement Wiper Arm Part Number is N30911.
REPLACING THE WIPER ARM AND WIPER BLADE

Open the small access cover on the Wiper Blade (C) and pull the blade
towards the motor end of Wiper Arm to loosen blade.
To install a new Wiper Blade, join the end of the Wiper Arm (B) to the
Wiper Blade. Place the J-hook of the Arm over the Blade’s plastic mounting
clip until it clicks and locks into place. Close the small access cover.

To remove the Wiper Arm (B), open the Wiper Arm cover and remove the
Internal Tooth Lock Washer and Small Mounting Nut (M8 Stud Hardware
Kit H) with a 13mm wrench or socket. Then remove the Wiper Arm from the
Wiper Motor (A) Spindle.
To replace the Wiper Arm back on the Spindle, reinstall the Internal Tooth
Lock Washer and Small Mounting Nut.

With a Torque Wrench and 13mm Socket, tighten the Small Mounting Nut
to 16 ft-lbs. (22Nm). Then swivel the mount cover of the Wiper Arm back to
its closed position.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
To clean your windshield, wash with a clean soft cloth and plenty of warm water and,
if necessary, a non-abrasive soap such as dishwashing liquid. Flannel or soft cham-
ois make good cleaning cloths. Paint, glue residue or grease removal: Moisten
cotton wad with naphtha or turpentine followed by a wash as above.
National Cycle Shield Wash™ (N1401-01) makes a good daily cleaner and comes
with a handy travel-size bottle. Shield Wash is safe for all windshields and helmet
visors.
Do not clean polycarbonate in hot sun or high temperatures. Do not clean the screen
with household glass cleaners.
Do not allow brake fluid, alcohol, or strong solvents to contact the windshield.
RAIN REPELLENT
Do not use rain protective products made for glass. We recommend National Cycle’s
RainZip® (N1410-01) to keep your windshield clear in rainy weather.

National Cycle hereby warrants to the original registered owner of a National Cycle polycarbonate windshield for a period of three years
from the date of purchase against breakage. This limited warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of the polycarbonate windscreen.
This limited warranty does not include scratches, coating failure, cosmetic wear and tear, replacement of hardware, or any consequential
damages or expenses including labor cost of installation, removal and/or replacement, inconvenience, inbound freight expenses or damage
to any other component of the vehicle or any other accessories. Certain chemicals, generally known as acidic hydrocarbons, are known to
cause polycarbonate damage and will not be covered under this limited warranty. Please refer to the cleaning instructions supplied with all

Never operate your vehicle with loose accessory mounting hardware. Check the hardware for tightness regularly.
UTVs are built with enough frame rigidity to withstand the moderate loads imposed on them by the foreseeable addition of an accessory(ies). If an accessory(ies)
adversely affects your vehicle’s stability, immediately remove the accessory(ies). Do not operate a vehicle that exhibits unsafe handling traits.
Have experienced service personnel correct any problem before driving with the accessory(ies) installed. For further questions concerning handling problems associat-
ed with an accessory(ies), contact your dealer, UTV manufacturer, or accessory manufacturer.
Sunlight reflected off the inside curvature of the windshield can, at certain times of the day, cause extreme heat buildup on the vehicle’s instruments and possibly even
melt them. Exercise care in parking to avoid this. Park your vehicle facing the sun, or place an opaque object over the instruments and dash panel.
