Dealers: If installing the windshield for a customer please give them this manual. It contains information needed to properly maintain
and use this product.
PREPARATI N and REM VAL F PARTS
1. Position the motorcycle securely on its stand.
2. Remove the black covers. Figure 1
3. Remove the button head screws holding windscreen.
Screws will not be reused. (5mm Hex Key) Figure 2
4. Remove grommet. Grommet will be reused. Figure 2

5. Remove the 10mm cap nuts holding mirror. (10mm Box
Wrench) Figure 3
Carefully remove mirror and let hang to side during
installation. Figure 3.
6. Remove stock windscreen. Figure 4.
A. Spread windscreen from body panel to clear mirror
post.
B. Press to disengage tab.
C. Push screen forward to disengage front clip.

INSTALLATI N
The VStream windscreen is a machined part. It does
not have the injection molded tabs and hooks like the
stock windscreen. It is mechanically held in place at the cen-
ter bracket, and at the mirrors with the addition of spring
clips. You may notice some deviation along the seams
between body work and windscreen. inimize this by com-
pressing / pushing the body work toward the windscreen
while simultaneously tightening the mirror nuts.
1. Install Bracket (2). Figure 5, 6, 7 and 8
Use water to clean area on body where adhesive
pad will adhere. Area should be free of oils or
grease.
D. Peel mask to expose adhesive
E. Hold adhesive away from body while you insert
hook under front tab. Be certain hook is under
tab before securing adhesive.
F. Press bracket firmly in place.
G.Peel mask to expose second adhesive strip.

2. Install VSteam windscreen (10mm Box Wrench).

H. Spread body pieces to insert VStream windscreen.
I. Align shield at lower edge and side body panels.
J. Press front to adhere bracket to windscreen
K. Compress / Push the body work toward the wind
screen while simultaneously tightening the mirror
nuts.

3. Install grommet and spring washers (3mm Hex Key).

L. Install the spring washers (2) using the 5 button
screws (3).
. Install grommet.
4. Install black cover. Engage pin firmly into grommet.

MAINTENANCE
Cleaning: Wash with a clean soft cloth, plenty of warm
water and, if necessary, a non-abrasive soap such as
dishwashing liquid. Flannel or soft chamois make good
cleaning cloths. Do not use rain protective products on the
screen due to the solvent action of the alcohol in these
products. Do not allow brake fluid, alcohol, or strong sol-
vents to contact the screen.
National Cycle Windshield Wash Part number N1401 is
good for everyday cleaning. Product is supplied with a
handy travel size container and cloth for easy storage on
the motorcycle.
RAINZIP® TREATMENT
National Cycle’s rain repellent treatment. RainZip treat-
ment N1410-01.

Sonnenlicht, das von der inneren Krümmung der Windschutzscheibe reflektiert wird, kann zu bestimmten Tageszeiten zu einem extremen
Wärmestau auf den Instrumenten des Motorrads führen und diese möglicherweise sogar zum Schmelzen bringen. Gehen Sie beim Parken
vorsichtig vor, um dies zu vermeiden. Stellen Sie Ihr Motorrad in Richtung Sonne ab oder platzieren Sie einen undurchsichtigen Gegenstand über
diesem Bereich.
