
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
To lean the s reen, wash with a lean soft loth, plenty of
warm water and if ne essary, a non-abrasive soap su h
as dishwashing liquid. Flannel or soft hamois make good
leaning loths. Pa nt, glue res due or grease removal:
Moisten otton with naphtha or turpentine followed by a
wash as above.
National Cy le Sh eld Wash™ (N1401-01) makes a good
daily leaner and omes with a handy travel size bottle.
Shield Wash is safe for all windshields and helmet visors.
Do not lean poly arbonate in hot sun or high tempera-
tures. Do not lean the s reen with glass leaners.
Do not allow brake fluid, al ohol, or strong solvents to on-
ta t the s reen.
RAIN REPELLENT
Do not use rain prote tive produ ts made for glass. We
re ommend National Cy le’s Ra nZ p® (N1410-01) to
keep your winds reen lear in rainy weather.

National Cy le hereby warrants to the original registered owner of a National Cy le poly arbonate windshield
for a period of three years from the date of pur hase against breakage. This limited warranty is expressly limited
to the repla ement of the poly arbonate winds reen. This limited warranty does not in lude s rat hes, oating
failure, osmeti wear and tear, repla ement of hardware, or any onsequential damages or expenses in luding
labor ost of installation, removal and/or repla ement, in onvenien e, inbound freight expenses or damage to any other omponent
of the motor y le or any other a essories. Certain hemi als, generally known as a idi hydro arbons, are known to ause poly ar-

Never ride your motor y le with loose a essory mounting hardware. Che k the hardware for tightness regularly.
Today's motor y les are built with enough frame rigidity to withstand the moderate loads imposed on them by the foreseeable addi-
tion of an a essory(ies). If an a essory(ies) adversely affe ts your motor y le's stability, immediately remove the a essory(ies).
Do not ride a motor y le that exhibits unsafe handling traits.

Sunlight refle ted off the inside urvature of the winds reen an, at ertain times of day, ause extreme heat buildup on the motor y-
les instruments and possibly even melt them. Exer ise are in parking to avoid this. Park your motor y le fa ing the sun or pla e an
opaque obje t over this area.
