Liftthehandset,presstheSpeakerkey,orselecttheNewCallSoftKeytoreceive
dialtone.
2.
Enterthephonenumberofthedesiredparty.
3.
PresstheDialSoftKeytoinitiatethecall,orwaitafewsecondsforthecalltobe
automaticallydialed.
4.
Whenthedialedpartyanswers,usethehandset,headsetorSpeakertostartthe
conversation.

akeytogetdialtoneforthatline,ortoexecutetheprogrammedfeaturecode.
Exit–Thiskeyallowsyoutoexitfromthecurrentscreenandgoesbacktothe
mainscreen.

Speaker–Controlsthebuilt‐inspeakerwhichcanbeusedforHandsFree
dialing/monitoring.
Hold–Placescurrentcallonhold.Toresumetheheldcall,pressthe
Holdkey,orpresstheResumeSoftKey.Duringaheldcall,youcandialanother
partybypressingtheNewCallSoftKey,whichprovidesdialtone.
SoftKeysarebuttonsthatchangefunctiondependingonthesituation.Theircurrent
functionishighlightedimmediatelyabovethebuttonontheLCDscreen.

NewCall–Generatesdialtoneforacall.

Voicemail–Automaticallydialsthevoicemailextensiononyoursystem.

EndCall–Terminatesthecurrentcall.

Conference/Conf–Initiates/completesaconference.

Formultiplephonecallsfromthesametelephonenumber,themostrecenttime
anddateinformationforthatnumberisshown.
IfyouhaveaPersonalDirectoryentryforanumberinyourCallHistory,thename
fromthePersonalDirectoryisshown.
The
iconappearsinthedisplaywhenthereisamissedcall.Onceyouhave
checkedthemissedcalllogintheCallHistoryinformation,thisicondisappears.

Ifitisenabledbyyoursystemadministrator,youcanplaceanewcallwhileyouare
onanothercall.Theywillbetreatedliketwoseparatephonecallsandyoucanswitch
betweenphonecalls.

SoftKeytogetthedialtone.

PresstheRecallkeytogetdialtone.
2.Enterthephonenumberyouwishtocall.

PresstheDialSoftKeytoinitiatethecall,orwaitafewsecondsforthecalltobe
automaticallydialed.
4.
Whenyouhavecompletedthecall,presstheEndCallSoftKeytoendthecalland
returntoyouroriginalcall.
5.
PresstheResumeSoftKeytoresumetheoriginalcall.
Toswitchbetweencalls:
PresstheShuttleSoftKeytoswitchbetweenthecalls.
Toconferenceacall
1.
Whileonacall,presstheConferenceorConfSoftKey.
2.
Usethekeypadtodialthenumberofthepartytobejoinedtotheconference.
3.
PresstheDialSoftKeytoinitiatethecallorwaitafewsecondsforthecalltobe
automaticallydialed.
4.
Ifyouwishtotransfertheheldpartyinstead,presstheTransferkey.
5.
Ifyoudecidenottocompletetheconference,thenthecallcanbeterminated
bypressingtheEndCallSoftKey.
6.
YoucancompletetheconferencebypressingtheConferenceorConfSoftKey.
HangUpwhileconferencing:
Ifyouareestablishingaconferencecallandwanttohanguponthepersonyouare
calling,presstheEndCallSoftKey.
IfyouhangupthetelephonehandsetorpresstheSpeakerkeywhilethephonefor
thethirdpartyisstillringing,theothertwopartieswillbeconnectedinablind
transfercall.
Note:DonothangupthetelephonehandsetorpresstheSpeakerkeyunlessyouwant
thetwocallstobeconnectedinablindtransfercall.
