Function Function Description
GREEN LED Your Call
RED LED Somewhere el e in building (on another hand et)
SOLID RED OR GREEN Station with call in progre or with a call on exclu ive hold
SLO FLASHING LED A call that ha been placed on hold
FAST FLASHING LED An incoming call
ANS ER A CALL Handsets which have line keys:
If your hand et rings on incoming call , lift handset
OR
If your hand et doe not ring, Lift Handset and press the line key
OR
While on a call, a k caller to hold, then pre “ANS ER” key (Only on ring a igned
hand et )
Handsets which have CAP and Park keys:
If your hand et ring on incoming call , lift handset (call will appear on CAP key)
OR
If your hand et doe not ring, Lift Handset and pre P/U soft key x 2
INTERNAL CALL PICKUP hen you know the extension that is ringing and want to pick up that call:
 Lift Handset
 Dial * * Extn No.

SPEAKER VOLUME USING THE UP/DO N KEY
 Handset Receiver volume pre up/down key in off hook tatu or during
call
 Ring volume pre up/down key when tation i ringing.

MIC / MICROPHONE To Turn your microphone On/Off for hands free only:
LED on Mic key how the tatu of the built-in microphone
Pre MIC button
(Red light indicate MIC i on)
HANDSFREE To make a hands free call,
 Pre Speaker key,
 Dial Extension number OR
Dial “0” for an out ide line THEN phone number
MAKE A CALL Internal Calls
 Lift Handset or Press Speaker
 Dial Extension number
External Calls
Lift handset or pre Speaker
 Pre “0” then dial phone number
OR
 Pre Redial then 3 digit code speed dial code
HOLD To place a call on hold:
 Pre Hold button once.
To place a call on exclu ive hold (no-one else can pick up your call)

 Pre Hold
To place a call on hold using Park keys:
 Pre the fir t available Park button once.
TRANSFERING CALLS To Transfer a call to another extension:
 Pre Hold to put the call on hold
 Dial Extension Number or press One Touch Key,
 Announce call
 Pre Transfer OR Advise of line number
 Hang up. Call i tran ferred.
To transfer calls from a cordless phone ( Pana onic ):
 hile speaking on an outside line:
 Pre Recall button (which put the call on hold),
 Dial Extension number,
 Announce the call and hang up.

TRANSFERRING TO
VOICEMAIL To transfer a call to a person’s voice mail:
 hile speaking to the outside line,
 Pre Hold
 Dial Person’s extension number
 Pre “8”
 Pre Transfer
 Hang Up
TRANSFER OFFSITE Transfer an incoming line to another outside line
hile talking to the incoming call
 Pre Hold key
 Select an outside line
 Dial Phone number
 Announce you will be transferring call
 Pre Transfer key
 Hang Up
REDIAL To dial the last number phoned:
 Pre Redial key without lifting hand et
 Pre # To redial la t number
OR
 Pre List Soft key to earch for de ired number
 Then Redial Soft key
 Pre Up/Down Key to earch number
 Then Lift hand et or pre Speaker to place the call
CORDLESS PHONE To make calls –
 Pre Talk/on or green phone key,
 dial 0, then
 dial Phone number
To answer calls,
 pre talk/on or green phone key ymbol when ringing
To Transfer calls –
 Pre Recall/Flash to Hold.
 Dial Extension number, announce,

INTERNAL PAGING To make an internal page through all desktop handsets:
 Pre ICM menu option for intercom
 Pre Inpg menu option for Internal Page
 Pre “0” which i group no 1 for all internal page
 Lift Handset and make announcement
 Hang up
OR Manually:
 Lift Handset
 Dial 701
 Pre “0” (for all Zone )
 Make Announcement and replace hand et
(Note: This feature is announcement only-extensions cannot reply)
EXTERNAL PAGING To make an external page through a Paging Horn:
 Lift Handset
 Dial 703
 Pre “0” (for all Zone )
 Make Announcement and replace hand et
(Note: Thi feature only work if an external peaker i in talled)
COMBINED PAGING To page both internal & external zones:
 Lift Handset
 Dial *1
 Make Announcement and replace hand et
CONFERENCE CALLS To set up a Conference Call:
While on an Outside call or connected to your fir t party
 Pre Conf Key on Di play
 Dial an outside line or econd party
(When called party an wer )
 Pre Add key on creen
(Repeat tep 2-4 to add more partie . Maximum of 16 internal or external
partie can be conferenced).
 Pre Begin to tart conference
To exit a Conference without affecting the other parties:
 Hang up
MISSED CALLS To view numbers of calls missed on your handset
Your handset will display this symbol
 Pre Centre button on the Jog Dial
 Pre Centre button on Jog Dial to elect  Mi ed Call 
 Scroll 


SET INTERCOM TO EITHER
RINGING OR HANDSFREE To select your intercom to be hands free:
 Pre Speaker

 Pre Speaker to hang up
To select your intercom to be ringing:
 Pre Speaker

SELECTABLE RING TONES To CHANGE your Extension’s incoming ring tones:
 Pre Speaker key
 Dial 720
 Dial 1 to et intercom ring, or 2 to et external call ring
 Dial Code for the ring pattern you wi h to hear:
1 = High 5 = Ring Tone 2
2 = Mid Range 6 = Ring Tone 3
3 = Low 7 = Ring Tone 4
4 = Ring Tone 1 8 = Ring Tone 5

To Listen to the Incoming ring choices
 Pre Speaker and Dial 711
 Dial 1 to li ten to intercom ring

STATION NAME ASSIGNMENT To assign a name to your extension number:

 Enter your Name - up to 12 digit (## for pace. # between digit on ame key)

To program any extension’s name:

 Enter Extension Number to be named
 Enter the Name – up to 12 digit

ALARM CLOCK To activate an alarm:

CHANGING THE TIME Note – Must be done from reception or main handset

NOTE: The date can only be set / changed in system programming
INTERRUPT A CALL * Note - Will not work if called station has CFW B/N activated
(Tone override) To send signals to an extension busy on a call:
 Dial Extension that i bu y
 pre # When you hear the bu y tone
(The called exten ion hear call alert notification, pre the
hold button and both partie are connected.)
BARGE IN (INTERRUPT A CALL)* Note - Must e activated in programming

 Dial Busy Extension (The exten ion u er will hear a warning tone).
ROOM MONITOR Room monitor lets an extension listen to the sounds in co-workers area, for
example, a receptionist could listen for sounds in the warehouse when it’s
left unattended.
NOTE: (A Room monitor key must be programmed Room monitor must be
activated at the extension initiating the monitor and at the extension that is to be
monitored You can only listen to one extension at a time )
To activate Room Monitor from initiating extension:
 Pre Room Monitor key
 Dial Extension number you are at
(You can place and answer calls whilst monitor is active)
To activate Room Monitor from extension to be monitored:
 Pre Room Monitor key
 Dial Extension number you are at

DIRECTORY DIALLING Displays a list of Speed Dials, Extensions, Personal Speed Dials, and the
Telephone Book to select from:
To Access The Telephone Book directly:
 Pre  on the Jog Dial 


OR
For all other lists:
 Pre Dir oft key (for directory)
 Pre Soft key (according to li t)
SPD – Speed Dials
EXT – co-worker’s Extensions
STA – Personal Speed Dials
TELBK – Telephone Book

 Dial The first letter of the name you are looking for
 Pre  Soft Key to jump to that ection
 Pre Arrow up or down to croll through the li t
 Lift Handset or pre Dial Soft Key or pre Speaker to place call
To cancel Directory Dialling:
