1. FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
The 350-34x0x detectors are designed for indoor installation on ceilings and use in integrated solutions with other KNX system components. The devices detect the presence of persons (350-34001 and 350-34002 only)
and motion with the aid of Passive InfraRed technology (PIR).
The 350-34x0x detectors have five independent output channels, four of which can be programmed via the ETS software. These four output channels include three variable channels (Automatic mode, Alarm function output
and Lux value switch) and one HVAC control output. The fifth channel allows the detectors to measure the light intensity continuously without prior configuration.
2. DEFAULT MODE
The detector is set to Automatic mode upon delivery, which means it behaves as a motion / presence detector with a maximum light intensity range of 500 lux and a switch-off delay time of three minutes.

4. PARAMETERS
To configure the 350-34x0x detectors with the KNX ETS software, you should open the parameter screen of the presence detector. To do this, select the presence detector in the Devices panel of the respective project and
click on the Parameter tab.
Warning: do not unplug the KNX bus connector immediately after the upload with the ETS software has been completed. Wait a few seconds to avoid the detector losing its firmware.
Info: Once the upload is complete, the connector needs to be unplugged. Wait 3 seconds after the upload before unplugging the connector.
4.1. General
Parameter Description
Device function With this parameter, the detector can be configured as a master or secondary device.
Master When the device type is set to Master, all the functions and parameters of the Automatic mode are
applicable. A master device can receive the triggering signal from one or more secondary detectors.
Secondary When the device type is set to Secondary, it is solely used to extend the detection area.
Sensitivity adjustment This parameter allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the motion detection.
Default value: High
Maximum The motion detection sensitivity is set at the maximum level.
High The motion detection sensitivity is set at a high level.
Medium The motion detection sensitivity is set at a medium level.
Low The motion detection sensitivity is set at a low level.
Advanced Mode This parameter is used to enable Advanced parameters and consequently unlock hidden options.
Default value: Disable
Disable Only the basic options are made available.
Enable All options are made available.

4.2. LED behaviour
Parameter Description
LED behaviour when motion
is detected
This parameter is used to configure whether the LED turns on or remains off when motion is detected.
Default value: ON
ON The LED turns on when motion is detected.
OFF The LED remains off when motion is detected.
LED behaviour after motion
has been detected
This parameter is used to configure whether the LED turns on or remains off when motion is no longer detected.
Default value: OFF
ON The LED turns on after motion has been detected.
OFF The LED remains off after motion has been detected.
LED behaviour when in lock
mode
Configure whether the LED turns on, remains off or flashes when a channel is locked.
Default value: Blink
ON The LED turns on when a channel is locked.
OFF The LED remains off when a channel is locked.
Blink (ON 0.5 s, OFF 2 s) The LED blinks when a channel is locked.
LED behaviour when
triggered by an external
device
Configure whether the LED turns on, remains off or flashes when a 1 is sent to object 4. This enables you to manually control the LED.
Default value: OFF
ON The LED turns on when a 1 is sent to object 4. The LED turns off when a 0 is sent to object 4.
OFF The LED remains off when a 1 is sent to object 4.
Blink (ON 1 s, OFF 1 s) The LED blinks when a 1 is sent to object 4. The LED turns off when a 0 is sent to object 4.
4.3. Channels
Parameter Description
Channel 1 This parameter allows you to select and activate the functions of channel 1.
Automatic 1. When in Automatic mode, the load is activated automatically when motion is detected and the ambient light level is below the lux setting
value. When no motion is detected and the switch-off delay time has expired, the load will go off automatically.
2. The switching output for the channel is locked with an ON telegram and unlocked with an OFF telegram.
3. The alarm function can be set to react differently or identically at switch ON and switch OFF.
Lux value switch In Lux value switch mode, the twilight switch sends an ON telegram if the threshold value is not reached during the entire switching time. An OFF
telegram is sent if the threshold value is exceeded during the entire switching time.
Alarm mode 1. The number of motions detected within a specific time span can be customised as a condition for triggering an alarm. An alarm is triggered if
a continuous number of moving objects are detected.
2. The alarm function can be set to react differently or identically at switch ON and switch OFF.
3. The switching output for the channel is locked with an ON telegram and unlocked with an OFF telegram.
Constant light control 1. In Constant light control mode, the detector monitors changes in the ambient light level and matches the dimming level of the lighting to the
lux setting value.
2. The switching output for the channel is locked with an ON telegram and unlocked with an OFF telegram.

4.4. Automatic (Switching Mode)

Switch-off lux adjustment This parameter allows you to activate the switch-off brightness: if there is enough brightness, the detector will not be switched on by motion. If the detector was already switched on,
it will be switched off again.

Switching or dimming mode This parameter allows you to configure whether the light merely switches on / off or also needs to be dimmable.
Default value: Switch
Switch The output value of the detector is binary (1/0).
Dim The output value of the detector is expressed in %.
Type of dimming This parameter is used to configure the dimming range between 0-100% (absolute) or at 1% / sec. (relative).
Relative The output value is defined in dimming steps (expressed in % of dimming).
Absolute The output value is defined in %.

With this parameter, you can set the brightness value when the light is switched on.
0-100% The brightness value is set to a certain percentage when the light is switched on.

With this parameter, you can set the brightness value when the light is switched off.

Parameter Description
Detection time frame This is the length of a monitoring window (if motion is detected during this time frame, it is considered positive).
# seconds This is the time it takes for the detector to switch on after motion has been detected.
Amount of detected motion

4.8. Constant Light Control
Parameter Description
Switch-on brightness

This is the value that is sent when the light is switched on.
0-100% If the brightness level remains below this value, the detector will switch on.
Switch-off brightness
setting
This is the value that is sent when the light is switched off.
0-100% If the brightness level exceeds this value, the detector will switch off.
Lux level adjustment (10 –

This parameter allows you to configure the light level at which the detector is switched on.
# lux If the lux level remains below this value, the detector will switch on.
Light intensity fluctuation

Switch back to Automatic You can use this parameter to switch from Manual mode back to Automatic mode after the last motion or via object 22.
After motion When motion is no longer detected, the detector will switch back to Automatic mode.
Object The detector will switch back to Automatic mode via object 22.
Lock mode With this parameter, you can activate a lock object to disable the channel.
Default value: Disable
Disable No lock object is shown.
Enable The channel is enabled via the lock object.
Forced control The channel is disabled via the Forced control object and sends an ON or OFF.
4.9. HVAC
Parameter Description
Switch-off delay With this parameter, you can configure the time period between the last motion detected and when the detector is switched off.
hh :mm :ss This is the time it takes for the detector to switch off after motion has been detected.
Switch-on delay With this parameter, you can set a time frame during which the detector will not switch on after motion has been detected.
hh :mm :ss An ON is sent after this time period if there is still motion detected.

Switch ON After motion has been detected, the detector sends a “1” to the output object.

Repeat last command every

With this parameter, you can set the time period after which the last command needs to repeated.
hh:mm:ss The detector will repeat the last command when the predefined time period has elapsed.
Lock mode With this parameter, you can activate a lock object to disable the channel.

Disable The HVAC channel is disabled.
