at a speed of 25 km/h.
Equipped with 3-speed pedal assist (which can be activated by a control on the handlebar) and Shimano 6-
speed manual gear shifter
Its 26" wheels and the ergonomic saddle make you both tackle the city routes but also aim at cycling

BATTERY DISPOSAL
The product contains a battery. It must be separated from generic non-recyclable waste when

product may not be directly removable. If this is the case, the instructions for its possible removal by

WARRANTY VALIDITY

DOC E-BIKE X5: DESCRIPTION
DOC X5 is equipped with an electrical pedal assist system.
To activate the pedal assist function, start pedalling as this will activate the effort sensor. If on the contrary
you fail to pedal, the motor remains inactive.
The electrical assistance is guaranteed up to 25 km/h, then the motor power will cut off. It will be possible
to travel at greater speed, but only through personal effort, without the aid of the motor.
Before using this bicycle in traffic, it is necessary to become familiar with its use in open places. In a few
minutes you will familiarise yourself with the bike and find it extremely easy to use, easy to control and
incredibly fun.

ASSEMBLY AND SETTINGS
DOC X5 is supplied completely assembled, excluding pedals, mudguard and front wheel, which are supplied
separately.
HANDLEBAR
Place the handlebar in the centre of the stem at the desired height.
Firmly tighten the Allen screw indicated by the arrow.
PEDALS
The pedals will arrive disassembled and in a separate plastic bag.
Carefully screw the pedals into the dedicated seat and tighten with the
spanner supplied.
CAUTION: In order to avoid them coming loose during travel, the pedals (of
all bicycles) have the characteristic feature of having the left pedal with
opposite thread.
In practice, when you screw them in, you will need
to do so in the opposite direction, as though you
were unscrewing.
SADDLE
Insert the sleeve of the saddle in its housing and adjust the height, using the
quick-release terminals, as shown in the figure.

FRONT WHEEL
X5 front wheel arrives disassembled.
In the package, together with the wheel, you will find the pin for quick
lock/unlock.
To assemble it, you need to insert the block in the seat on the bike pin.
Then screw the lock nut on the threaded part that sticks out of the other side of the wheel.
FRONT MUDGUARD
The front mudguard must be assembled
before inserting the wheel. Loosen the
light nut and fix as in the picture.
Then fix with the 2 screws included in the package the 2 sticks on the front wheel
housing.

BATTERY ASSEMBLY
Insert the battery in its housing as shown in the figure.
Gently push upwards so the battery fit into its housing.
The fitted battery will look as shown in the figure.
BRAKE ADJUSTMENT
The brake levers are made of aluminium alloy.
Next to the brake lever is a gauge to adjust the tension of the wiring.
During braking, the electrical part of the motor is automatically disabled.
The brakes are classic V brakes.
BRAKE CALIBRATION
Use an Allen
wrench to adjust
the angle of the

Brake pads must be kept parallel to rims, and the distance between
the brake pad and the rim must be no more than 2-3 mm. (B+C)

GEAR SYSTEM
The rear wheel is fitted with Shimano 6-speed gear (dérailleur) shifter.
Its use is identical to the use of traditional bicycle gearing and it is
governed by the classic lever located near the right-hand handlebar.
AS FOR TRADITIONAL BICYCLE GEARING, IT MUST BE USED WITH THE
BICYCLE IN MOTION.
FRONT LIGHT
DOC E-BIKE X5 is equipped with a front LED
light.
It is turned on and off from the multi-purpose
display.
PEDAL ASSIST (PAS) CONTROL PANEL
The pedal assist (PAS) control unit is located on the left side of the handlebar.

DOC X5 is fitted with switches for pedal assist at three speeds.
THE PEDAL ASSIST FUNCTION CANNOT BE ACTIVATED WITH THE BICYCLE AT A STANDSTILL.
PAS operation:
•Pedal and simultaneously activate the PAS. This method entails a greater use of current and a
greater wear of the motor.
•Pedal until you create a certain inertia for the bicycle, activate the PAS and resume pedalling.
This method on the other hand allows greater savings in current and therefore a greater
protection of the motor.
•Cycle while avoiding sudden speed changes; after braking resume pedalling prior to changing
the PAS setting.
•Do not vary the PAS speed during braking, as this would lead to a motor overload.
•The current regulator automatically cuts off the electricity supply in the event of overvoltage,
re-establishing it when the electrical load is restored.
•Do not use the PAS in the rain or on excessively uneven ground.
•Turn off the PAS before stopping DOC E-BIKE X5, the last few pedal strokes should therefore
be made without electrical assistance.

BATTERY
BATTERY CHARGE
The battery of the DOC E-BIKE X5 can be charged:
•Directly on the bike, without taking the battery out.
•Taking the battery out and taking it home or to a place equipped with
electrical outlet.
Insert the power supply plug into the power inlet, placed on the battery
side and then plug the battery charger into the mains.
If the red light on the power unit comes on, the battery is low. If the
green light is on, this means charging is complete.
On the battery you can find the on/off switch. We recommend to turn
off the battery when the bike is not in use.
USER WARNINGS
Carefully heed the following warnings for use.
Use DOC X5 sensibly and responsibly.
DOC E-BIKE X5 is a pedal assisted means of transport.
This is a hi-tech product, but its incorrect and inappropriate use can cause injuries. In order to reduce any
type of risk, we recommend you carefully heed the following warnings:
•Always wear shoes, a helmet and appropriate safety equipment. Using a firmly buckled helmet
that provides cranial protection is recommended.
•Do not use DOC E-BIKE X5 without proper training, please read the manual before use.
•Its use is not recommended for pregnant women.
•Do not use DOC E-BIKE X5 under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other substances that could
alter the user's reflexes.
•We recommend wearing comfortable clothes during use.
•DOC E-BIKE X5 was designed to transport a single individual. Use by several individuals
simultaneously is prohibited.
•Make sure cycling speed always permits stopping at any time and in any situation.
•We recommend you maintain a suitable safety distance from other vehicles when cycling.
•Do not perform stunts.
•Do not get down from DOC E-BIKE X5 when it is in motion.
•Periodically check the components before use.
•Observe traffic rules, slow down in the rain or snow and take these into account to adjust the
safety distance accordingly.
•In urban areas it is advisable to use the bike on even road surfaces.
•Although it is impermeable, do not use DOC E-BIKE X5 to wade through rivers. Do not immerse
the part with the electric and electronic components in water.
•Do not modify DOC E-BIKE X5 in any way; any modification will invalidate the manufacturer's
warranty
•Only use the original battery charger supplied.
•Check the efficiency of the brakes before use.
Carefully reading this manual is essential for its correct use and to reduce personal injuries.
MAKE SURE THE BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED BEFORE USE.
CHECKS AND MAINTENANCE
To prolong the life and efficiency of your DOC E-BIKE X5, certain operations need to be performed on a
regular basis:

•Regularly check the tyre pressure.
•Check that the handlebar and saddle are always well secured.
•Adjust the chain tension and lubricate it periodically.
•Before each use always check the reliability of the braking system.
•Check that the wheel bolts are tightened.
•Check the condition of the tyres and replace them when worn.
•Do not wash DOC E-BIKE X5 directly with jets of water, especially pressurised, since this could
damage the electrical components.
•Clean dirty areas with a damp cloth and neutral detergent; then dry with care.
•Treat the metal moving parts such as the chain with lubricating oil. TAKING CARE THAT NO
OIL DRIPS ONTO THE BRAKING PARTS. We recommend you have these operations performed
by qualified personnel.
•Regularly check the tension of the chain, by releasing the quick-coupling clamp and holding
the wheel. Make sure that the wheel is perfectly in axis.
•Frequently check the reliability of the brakes.
CORRECT USE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE BATTERY
The following covers different methods of recharging and maintaining the battery, as well as any problems
that may arise. For the safety of the consumer and to prolong the life and improve performance of the
battery, please observe the following:
•The battery and the battery charger must be kept out of children's reach.
•Use the maximum speed of the PAS only with the battery fully charged.
•Only use the original battery charger; the use of a different battery charger could damage it
irreparably.
•Do not disassemble or modify the battery and/or its charger.
•Be extra careful when removing the battery from the DOC E-BIKE X3, dropping it could damage
it and make it unusable.
•In the presence of unpleasant smells or excess temperatures during charging, stop the
procedure immediately.
•DOC E-BIKE X5 cannot be used during the battery charging process.
•The battery and the battery charger must be kept out of children's reach.
•Make sure the battery and charger are connected before connecting to the electricity mains.
•Never let the battery charge level fall to zero, as this could reduce its life.
•Do not submit the battery to excessive charge cycles, if not needed.
•If the bike is not used, recharge the battery at least every 2 months.
•Do not charge the battery at high temperatures (above 40 C)
•In winter, battery charging should be carried out at room temperature, if the bike was left in the cold
start the charging process after it has been brought back to room temperature.
•Batteries contain hazardous substances. Do not open the battery and do not insert anything inside
it.
•If over-charged, lithium batteries may explode.
•Please keep the charging contacts clean and dry.
•If the charging port is wet, do not charge.
•In order to avoid fire risks or electrical shock, when charging, only place the device in a room with
controlled temperature and humidity and without conductive agents of any kind.
•When charging, the device should be placed in a fully fireproof room (keep away from wood floors,
furniture, paper, sofas, rugs, flammable liquids, etc. .) with controlled temperature and humidity.
•Charge the battery in a ventilated room to reduce overheating when charging.
•If the battery suffered shocks or if the battery or power cord are not perfectly intact, avoid charging
and contact a service centre.
•The manufacturer and distributor cannot be held liable for damages to third party products due to

improper battery and charger use.
•Almost all types of battery are influenced by the environment. Generally the harsh temperatures
significantly decrease the power of the battery.
•When the battery is removed, keep it away from metal objects that may cause a short circuit.
TRANSPORTING THE BATTERY
Lithium batteries are considered as hazardous materials. Their transportation is governed by the laws of
each Country.
International law prohibits shipping single lithium batteries by air.
If you ship your DOC E-BIKE X5 the battery must be attached.
THE BATTERY CANNOT BE SHIPPED SEPARATELY.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATIONS
Pursuant to the provisions of Directive 2002/24/EC, DOC E-BIKE X5 does not require type-approval for
circulation as a motor vehicle, given that its maximum speed, solely with electric traction, cannot exceed
25 km/h and that its motor is not more powerful than 250W.
Every road user however is obliged to follow the traffic regulations in force in their own country.
So make sure that you do not need permissions from the authorities, nor a driving license to ride an e-bike.
In many countries it is possible to circulate on roads and public streets only with the addition of the
equipment prescribed by law, such as systems for luminous signalling, clothing with reflective bands and a
protective helmet.
Italian legislation does not differentiate between an e-bike and a common bicycle.
THE USE OF A HELMET AND ANY ADDITIONAL PROTECTION IS STILL HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR THE E-
BIKE AND FOR ALL BICYCLES IN GENERAL.

DOC E-BIKE X5:DESCRIZIONE
DOC X5 è dotata di un sistema elettrico di pedalata assistita.
Per attivare la pedalata assistita è necessario iniziare a pedalare attivando così il sensore di sforzo. Se al
contrario non si pedala, il motore resta inattivo.
L’ assistenza elettrica è garantita sino a 25 km/h, dopodiché il motore si disinserirà. Sarà possibile andare
a maggiore velocità, ma con il solo sforzo personale, senza l’ausilio del motore.
Prima di utilizzare questa bicicletta, in mezzo al traffico, è necessario impratichirsi nel suo uso in luoghi
aperti. In pochi minuti prenderete dimestichezza col mezzo trovandolo quindi molto semplice da usare,
facile da controllare e incredibilmente divertente.

ASSEMBLAGGIO EREGOLAZIONI
DOC X5 dovrebbe giungervi completamente assemblata, con esclusione dei pedali, parafango e ruota
anteriore, che vengono forniti separatamente.
Altre parti (come sella e manubrio) potrebbero giungere disassemblate, o comunque necessitare di
regolazione.
MANUBRIO
Disporre il manubrio centrato rispetto allo stelo ed all’altezza desiderata.
Serrare con forza la vite a brugola centrale indicata dalla freccia.
PEDALI
I pedali arriveranno smontati e in un sacchetto di plastica a parte.
Avvitare con cura i pedali nella apposita sede e serrare con la chiave in
dotazione.
ATTENZIONE: al fine di evitare che si possano svitare durante la marcia, i
pedali (di tutte le biciclette) hanno la caratteristica di avere il pedale
sinistro con filettatura contraria.
In pratica quando lo avviterete dovrete fare il
movimento opposto, come se steste svitandolo.
SELLA
Inserire il canotto della sella nel suo alloggiamento e regolarne l’altezza, e sul
morsetto, a sgancio rapido, come indicato in figura.

RUOTA ANTERIORE
La ruota anteriore della X5 arriva smontata.
Oltre alla ruota, troverete nella confezione il perno di
blocco/sblocco rapido.
Per il suo montaggio occorre inserire il perno nella sede al centro della ruota della bicicletta.
Inserire infine il dado di blocco nella parte filettata che
sporgerà dall’altro lato della ruota.
PARAFANGO ANTERIORE
Prima di inserire la ruota va infine
montato il parafango anteriore.
Allentare quindi i dadi del fanale e
fissare come da figura.
Avvitare infine con le 2 viti in dotazione le 2 stecche in prossimità
dell’alloggiamento della ruota anteriore.

ASSEMBLAGGIO BATTERIA
Inserire la batteria, come mostrato in figura, nel suo alloggiamento
Spingere con delicatezza verso l’alto sino a porre la batteria nella sua sede.
La batteria montata si presenterà come da figura.
REGOLAZIONE FRENI
Le leve del freno sono realizzate in lega d’alluminio.
Accanto alla leva del freno è presente un registro per la regolazione della tensione della cavetteria.
Durante la frenata si disattiva automaticamente la parte elettrica del motore.
I freni sono di tipo classico a pattino (V Brake).
CALIBRAZIONE FRENI
Utilizzare una
chiave a brugola
per regolare
l’inclinazione del
gruppo frenante
ed un cacciavite
a stella per
regolare la
distanza dei
pattini dal cerchione.
I pattini dei freni devono mantenersi parallele ai cerchioni e la
distanza tra il pattino ed il cerchione stesso non deve essere superiore ai 2-3 mm. (B+C)

CAMBIO
Sulla ruota posteriore è montato un cambio (deragliatore) Shimano a 6
velocità a manopola.
Il suo utilizzo è identico all’utilizzo di un cambio di una tradizionale
bicicletta e viene governato mediante la classica leva posta vicino alla
manopola destra del manubrio.
COME PER I CAMBI TRADIZIONALI IL SUO UTILIZZO DEVE AVVENIRE CON
LA BICI IN MOVIMENTO.
LUCE ANTERIORE
DOC E-BIKE X5 è dotata di una luce anteriore
a led.
La sua accensione ed il suo spegnimento
sono governati dal display multifunzione.
PANELLO DI CONTROLLO PEDALATA ASSISTITA (PAS)
Sulla parte sinistra del manubrio si trova la centralina della pedalata assistita (PAS).

DOC X5 dispone di switch per la pedalata assistita a tre velocità.
LA PEDALATA ASSISTITA NON PUÒ ESSERE ATTIVATA CON LA BICICLETTA FERMA.
Gestione del PAS:
•Pedalare e contemporaneamente attivare il PAS. Questo metodo comporta un maggior
dispendio di corrente ed una maggiore usura del motore.
•Pedalare sino a dare una certa inerzia alla bicicletta, attivare il PAS e riprendere la pedalata.
Questo metodo consente invece un maggior risparmio di corrente e quindi una maggiore
salvaguardia del motore.
•Guidare evitando bruschi cambi di velocità; dopo una frenata riprendere la pedalata prima di
variare livello del PAS.
•Non variare velocità al PAS durante la frenata, porterebbe ad un sovraccarico del motore.
•Il regolatore di corrente interrompe automaticamente l'elettricità in caso di sovratensione,
riattivandola quando il carico elettrico sarà ripristinato.
•Non utilizzare il PAS in caso di pioggia o fondi eccessivamente sconnessi.
•Spegnere il PAS prima di arrestare definitivamente DOC E-BIKE X5, le ultime pedalate
dovranno essere quindi senza ausilio elettrico.
