1 Important

1.1 Danger
• Neverimmersethemotorunitinwateroranyotherliquid,
norrinseitunderthetap.
1.2 Warning
• Avoidtouchingtheblade,especiallywhentheblenderbaris
attachedtothemotorunit.Thebladeisveryshape.
• If the blade get stuck, remove the blender bar from the
motorunitbeforeyouremovetheingredientsthatblockthe
blade.
• Keep ngers, hair, clothing, and utensils away from the
movingparts.
• Donotswitchontheappliancewhenyouattachordetach
accessories.
• Never use a damaged hand blender. Get it checked or
repairedinyourlocalplace.
• Never use an unauthorized attachment. If you use such
accessoriesorparts,yourguaranteebecomesinvalid.
• Thisapplianceisnotintendedforusebypersons(including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
theyhavebeengivensupervisedorinstructionconcerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their

3 Using your hand blender
3.1 Blending
Thoroughlycleantheparts thatcomeintocontactwith food
before you use the appliance for the rst time(see chapter
‘Cleaning’).
The hand blender is intended for:
• Blending uids, e.g. dairy products, sauces, fruit juices,
soups,mixeddrinksandshakes.
• Mixingsoftingredients,e.g.pancakebatterormayonnaise.
• Pureeingcookedingredients,e.g.formakingbabyfood.
3.2 Important
• Take the saucepan off the heat and let it cool slightly.
Otherwise,yourhandblendercouldoverheat.
• Fitthemotorunit(B)insidetheblenderbar(C).(‘click’)
• Pluginthepowercable.Toavoidsplashing,placetheblade
inthefoodbeforeswitchingon.
• Donotletliquidgetabovethejoinbetweenthemotorunit
andblenderbar.
• Movethebladethroughthefoodanduseastabbingaction.
• Ifyourhandblendergetsblocked,unplugthepowercable
beforecleaning.
• Afteruse,unplugthepowercableanddismantle.
4 Cleaning
• Always switch off and unplug the power cable before
cleaning.
• Donottouchthesharpblade.
• Take special care when preparing food for babies, the
elderlyandinrmpeople.Alwaysensurethatthe blender
bar is thoroughly sterilized. Use a sterilizing solution in
accordancewiththesterilizingmanufacturesinstruction.
• Somefoods,suchaseggsorcarrot,maydiscolortheplastic.
Rubbingwithaclothdippedinvegetableoilhelpsremove
discoloration.
