BEFORE FIRST-TIME USE
Therewillbeaslightsmellwhentheapplianceisheatedforthe
rsttime.Ensurethatthereissufcientventilation,forexample
openawindow.Beforebakingawafeforthersttimewith
yournewappliance,youmustheatituponcewithoutbatter.
Possiblemanufacturingresiduewillberemovedbydoingso.
1.Removeallpackagingmaterial.
2.Unfoldtheupperpartofthecasing.
3.Wipethewafeplateswithadampcloth.
Caution: The appliancebecomeshotduring use.
If necessary, use oven gloves and only touch the
applianceusingthehandleprovided.
Caution: Place the appliance on an even surface
thatisresistanttoheat andsplashes.
Fullyunwindthepowercordbeforeusetoprevent
overheating.
OPERATION WAFFLE MAKER
1.Place theappliance on an evensurfacethat is resistantto
heatandsplashes.
2.Connect the appliance to an appropriate socket.The red
indicatorlightshowsthattheapplianceisheatingup.
3.As soon as the selected temperature is reached, the red
indicator light goes off and the green one lights up. The
applianceisreadyforbaking.
4.Grease the wafe plates with a brush dipped in a bit of
cookingoil.
5.Putaspoonfullofbatterintothecentreofeachofthelower
bakingplatehalves.Folddowntheupperpartofthecasing.
Donotclosethehandleclip.Closingthehandleclipwillnot
allowthewafestogrow.
6.Donotplacetoomuchbatterorbatterthatistooliquidinto
theappliance,otherwisetoomuchsteamandperhapsalso
batterwillemanatefromthehandlearea.
7.Attheendofthebakingprocess,thegreenindicatorlamp
lightsupagain.Ifthewafeisnotbrownenough,letitbake
amomentlonger.
8.Caution: To avoid damaging the non-stick
coating of the wae plates, only use heat-
resistant wooden or plastic utensils to remove
thewaes.
9.Afteruse,removethemainsplugfromthesocketandallow
theappliancetocoolfullybeforecleaningit.
CAUTION:
1.Never using sharp fork or knife to remove the
food as this would damage the non-stick coat-
ingofcooking surface. Useheat-resistant wood
orplasticutensils only.
2.Before unclipping the heating plate make sure
the appliance has been disconnect from power
supplyandheatingplateiscoolenough.
3. Warning: Never touch the heating plate dur-
ing operation. As the heating plates are very
hot scalding may occur if touched the heating
plates.
OPERATION SANDWICH MAKER:
1.Connecttheappliancetoanappropriatesocket.
2.Thecontrollightsilluminateandthetoastingsurfacesheat
up.
3.The appliance must be heated up before grilling, In the
meantimeprepareyourfood.
4.Assoon astheappliance hasheatedup, thecontrol light
goesout.
5.Youcannowbegingrilling.
6.Opentheapplianceatthecatch.
7.Closetheappliance,makingsurethatcatchisengaged.
Caution:Ifthefoods havetoomuch llingon,
it will not be possible to close the appliance.
Take some of the lling o. Never use force to
closetheappliance.
8.During toasting the temperature regulating thermostat
switchesoffandonagain.Thecontrollightalsoswitches
offandonagain.
9.After completion of the grilling process (approx. 2-3
minutes)openthecatchandremovethefoodswiththehelp
ofaatwoodenorplasticspatula.Neverusesharpormetal
object(e.g.knives,metalspatulas,etc.)asthiswilldamage
theteoncoating.
10.Ifyouwishtogrillmovefood,closetheapplianceagainand
waituntilthetoastingsurfaceshavereheatedsufciently.
11.Whenthecontrollightilluminatesagainyoucanrepeatthe
toastingprocessasdescribedabove.
After completion lf the grilling process disconnect the
mainsplugimmediately.Withtheapplianceopenallowit
tocooldown.
