Overheatingsafetydevice
Topreventdamageandrisksduetooverheating,the built-inoverheatingsafetydevicecutsoffthepower
assoon asthe heating elementsbecometoo hot.Ifthisshould happen:
Firstensure thatit wasnotthe thermostatwhichhasswitchedoff theheater. Setthe thermostatto
maximum position. Iftheheater does not switchon, the safetydevicehasbeen activated.
-Remove the mains plug from the wall socket.
-Let the heater cool downfor 30minutes.
-Checkifthe heater had been placed correctly.
-Checkifanything isobstructing the airflow.
-Ifnecessary,cleanthe grilles withavacuum cleaner.
-Replacethe plug intothe wall socket and switchthe heater on again.
Ifthe safetydeviceagainswitches off the heater:
-Remove the mains plug from the wall socket.
-Have the heater inspected byaServiceCentre orbyyour dealer.
Cleaning
We recommend that youcleanyour heater at least twiceayeartoremove accumulated dust and dirt.
-Remove the mains plugfrom the wall socket.
-Wait for the heatertocool downsufficiently.
-You maycleanthe outsideofthe heater withadampclothor brush. Donotuse water orallowwater to
comeintothe appliance. Donot use anyabrasive and causticcleaning agents!
-Never touchthe heater inwater!
-Cleanthe airinlet and outlet grilles regularlywithavacuum cleaner, using the brush attachment.
