ZWECKBESTIMMUNG
Die Korsette Litecross 90 und 91 sind ausschließlich für die orthetische Versorgung der
lumbalen und lumbosakralen Wirbelsäule einzusetzen. Korsett Litecross 92 ist für die
orthetische Versorgung der Lenden- und Brustwirbelsäule einzusetzen. Der Einsatzbe-
reich der Litecross Korsette ist die Wirbelsäule.
MATERIALIEN
Grundkörper: Polyamid, Elastan; elastische Gurte: Polyamid, Naturlatex;
Klettverschluss: Polyamid.
KONFORMITÄTSERKLÄRUNG
Die ORTHOSERVICE AG erklärt als Hersteller in alleiniger Verantwortung, dass es
sich bei diesem Produkt um ein Medizinprodukt der Klasse I handelt und dass es
gemäß den grundlegenden Anforderungen der Richtlinien 93/42/EWG und 2007/47/
EWG hergestellt wurde. Diese Gebrauchsanweisung wurde nach den Vorgaben der
vorgenannten Richtlinien erstellt. Ihr Zweck ist es, die sichere und ordnungsgemäße
Anwendung des Medizinprodukts zu gewährleisten.

VORSICHTSMASSNAHMEN
Das Produkt sollte keinen Druck auf Körperteile ausüben, die Verletzungen, Schwellungen
oder Tumeszenzen aufweisen. Die Orthese sollte nicht zu stark festgezogen werden, damit
sich keine Druckstellen entwickeln oder darunter liegende Nerven und/oder Blutgefäße

det werden. Es muss von einem Orthopädietechniker angelegt werden, der sowohl für das
Anlegen wie auch für die Informationen über den sicheren Gebrauch entsprechend Ihren
persönlichen Anforderungen Ihr kompetenter Ansprechpartner ist. Die Wirksamkeit, Verträg-
lichkeit und die Funktionalität des Produktes sind nur dann garantiert, wenn es immer mit
größter Sorgfalt angelegt wird. Jede eventuelle Änderung der Struktur oder der Einstellung
muss von einem Arzt verordnet und von einem Orthopädietechniker ausgeführt werden. Die
Einstellung, die der Arzt/Orthopädietechniker vorgenommen hat, darf absolut nicht verändert
werden. Es wird empfohlen, dass das Produkt immer nur von einem Patienten verwendet
wird. Bei hypersensiblen Personen kann der direkte Hautkontakt zu Rötungen und Reizungen
führen. Sollten Schmerzen, Schwellungen, Tumeszenzen oder andere ungewöhnliche Reakti-
onen auftreten, wenden Sie sich bitte sofort an Ihren Arzt.

Halbhohes/Hohes Korsett aus Sensitive®Gewebe
Das Stützkorsett öffnen und die Klettbänder provisorisch
an der Seite befestigen (Abb. A).
Das Korsett so anlegen, dass die Schlaufe sich oben befindet.
Beim Schließen den Daumen in die Schlaufe stecken und die Stütze fest mit dem
längsseitigen Klettverschluss schließen (Abb. B). Sich vergewissern, dass der
Verschluss genau in der Mitte liegt.
Um das Korsett zu straffen, die Bänder auf dem vorderen Klettband andrücken
(Abb. C). NUR für Modelle REF. 1091: Zuerst die unteren und dann die oberen
Bänder festziehen.
Bei verschriebener Verwendung der Lumbalpelotte (REF. 1078/P oder REF. T1000,
optional) diese vor dem Anlegen des Korsetts innen am hinteren Klettband
befestigen.

Das Stützkorsett öffnen und die Klettbänder provisorisch an der Seite befestigen.

Die oberen Spannbänder über die Schulter legen, unter den Achseln hindurch
führen und auf dem Rücken überkreuzen (Abb. E).
Abschließend die Spannbänder am vorderen Klettband befestigen (Abb. F).

PRECAUTIONS
It is advised that the pressure exerted by the product does not act on parts of the body
suffering from wounds, swelling or lumps. The orthosis should not be tightened too firmly so
as to avoid the development of pressure points or compression of the nerves or blood vessels
underneath. It is advisable to wear the product over a garment, avoiding direct contact with
the skin. If in doubt about how to apply, contact an orthopaedic technician. The device should
not be worn in the vicinity of open flames or strong electromagnetic fields.
WARNINGS
The product may only be used in the event of medical indication or when prescribed by a
physician and must be applied by an orthopaedic technician, the competent authority figure
for the application as well as for information on the safe use, according to individual needs. To
ensure the effectiveness, tolerability, and correct operation, it is necessary that the device is
put on with the utmost care. Any changes to the structure or adjustment of the device must be
prescribed by a physician and performed by an orthopaedic technician. Under no circumstan-
ces should the adjustment made by the physician/orthopaedic technician be altered. Use of
the product is recommended for a single patient. With hypersensitive patients, direct contact
with skin may cause redness or irritation. In the case of onset of pain, swelling, lumps or any
unusual reaction, immediately contact your physician.

Open the corset and temporarily fasten the Velcro®straps on the side (fig. A).
Put the corset in place with the loop on the upper side.
Insert your thumb in the loop and fasten well the central Velcro®closure (fig. B).
Make sure the closure is centered.
Tighten the corset by fastening the straps on the front Velcro®band (fig. C).
ONLY on models REF. 1091: first tighten the lower straps, then the top ones.
If the use of the lumbar pad (REF. 1078/P or REF. T1000, both optional)
is prescribed, fix the pad on the inside to the back Velcro®before putting
the corset on.

Shoulder corset in Sensitive®fabric
Open the corset and temporarily fasten the Velcro®straps on the side.
Put the corset in place with the loop on the upper side.
Insert your thumb in the loop and fasten well the central Velcro®closure (fig. A).
Make sure the closure is centered. If necesarry reposition the corset (fig. B).
Tighten the corset by fastening the lower straps on the front Velcro®band
(fig. C) first.
Then tighten the upper straps and fasten them on the front Velcro®band (fig. D).
Place the upper tensioning straps over the shoulders, then feed under the arms
and cross over at the back. Make sure they go through the loops (fig. E).
Then secure them to the front Velcro®band (fig. F).
