FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
•It is advisable to support the engine as shown in picture 1 to prevent any
engine movement when the original engine bolts are loosened/removed
(do not use excessive force as damage can occur).
Near side (left side as you sit on the motorcycle)
•Remove the gear-shift lever bolt arrowed in picture 2 and move the gear-shift
assembly to rest on the pillion footrest to keep it out of the way for future
operations.
•Unclip the push in wiring/cable guide arrowed in picture 3.
•Remove the two bolts arrowed in picture 4 and carefully ease the plastic
sprocket cover away from the engine (do not remove completely at this stage and
leave the metal spacer/bracket in place).
•Unclip the push in wiring/cable guide arrowed in picture 5 and remove the cover.
Off side (right side as you sit on the motorcycle)
•Remove the nut arrowed in picture 6.
Near side (left side as you sit on the motorcycle)
•Remove the bolt arrowed in picture 7.
•Remove the bolt arrowed in picture 8 (please ensure to retain the spacer
arrowed in picture 9 for use on assembly of the adventure bars).
•Remove the bolt arrowed in picture 10 (please ensure to retain the spacer
arrowed in picture 11 for use on assembly of the adventure bars).
•Place one of the M10 washers (item 5) onto the longest M10 hex headed bolt
(item 4), place the bolt and washer through the left-hand side adventure bar
(item 1) lower mounting bracket and place the longest spacer (item 7) onto the
exposed bolt as shown in picture 12.
•Offer this assembly into position as shown in the picture 13 and push the bolt
into the original engine bolt hole.
•Place the longest M10 (130mm long) cap head bolt (item 2) into the upper
mounting boss then through the frame bracket and original spacer (engage the
thread but do not tighten at this stage) as shown in picture 14.
•Place one of the M10 (90mm long) cap head (item 8) bolts into the forward
mounting bracket then through the front frame bracket and the original spacer
(engage the thread but do not tighten at this stage) as shown in picture 15.
Off side (right side as you sit on the motorcycle)
•Remove the bolt arrowed in picture 16 (please ensure to retain the spacer
arrowed in picture 17 for use on assembly of the adventure bars).
•Remove the bolt arrowed in picture 18 (please ensure to retain the spacer
arrowed in picture 19 for use on assembly of the adventure bars).
•Place the shortest spacer (item 10) onto the exposed thread of the lower bolt as
shown in picture 20.
•Offer the right-hand side adventure bar (item 11) into position as shown in the
picture 21.
•Place the remaining M10 washer (item 5) and the original nut onto the exposed
thread (do not tighten at this stage).

•Place the longest remaining M10 (120mm long) cap head bolt (item 9) into the
upper mounting boss then through the frame bracket and original spacer (engage
the thread but do not tighten at this stage) as shown in picture 22.
•Place the remaining M10 (90mm long) cap head (item 8) bolt into the forward
mounting bracket then through the front frame bracket and the original spacer
(engage the thread but do not tighten at this stage) as shown in picture 23.
•Tighten all bolts and nuts ensuring the adventure bars are clear of any other
parts of the motorcycle.
•Fit the bolt covers (items 3 and 6) onto the appropriate bolts.
•Refit the sprocket cover as original (ensuring the wire/cable guides are refitted as
original) as shown in picture 24.
•Refit the gear shift lever and bolt as original.

The catalogue description and any exhibition of samples are only broad indications of the Products and R&G
may make design changes which do not diminish their performance or visual appeal and supplying them in
such state shall conform to the order. The Buyer acknowledges no representation or warranty (other than as to
title) has been given or will apply to the Products other than those in R&G’s order or confirmation and the
Buyer confirms it has chosen the Products as being of merchantable quality and suitable for its particular
purposes. Where R&G fits the Products or undertakes other services it shall exercise reasonable skill and care
and rectify any fault free of charge unless the workmanship has been disturbed. The Buyer is responsible for
ensuring that the warranty on the motorcycle is not affected by the fitting of the Products. On return of any
defective Products R&G shall at its option either supply a replacement or refund the purchase money but shall
not be liable if the Products have been modified or used or maintained otherwise than in accordance with
R&G’s or manufacturer’s instructions and good engineering practice or if the defect arises from accident or
neglect. Other than identified above and subject to R&G not limiting its liability for causing death and personal
injury, it shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss and otherwise its liability shall be limited to the
amounts paid by the Buyer for the Products or the fitting or service concerned. These terms do not affect the
Buyer’s statutory rights.
R&G RETURNS POLICY (NON-FAULTY GOODS)
Returns must be pre-authorised (if not pre-authorised the return will be rejected). Goods may only be returned
direct to us if they were purchased direct from us (customer must prove if necessary). Otherwise to be
returned to original vendor. Goods must be in re-sellable condition, in the opinion of R&G. All returns are
subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee (25% of the gross value exc. P&P –at the prevailing price at
time of purchase). The customer must pay any and all carriage charges. No returns of discontinued products,
unless within 14 days of purchase. This policy does not affect your statutory rights and does not refer to faulty
goods.

NOTICE DE MONTAGE
•Il est conseillé de soutenir le moteur comme indiqué sur la photo 1 pour
éviter tout mouvement du moteur lorsque les boulons d'origine du
moteur sont desserrés / retirés (ne pas exercer de force excessive, cela
pourrait l'endommager).
Côté gauche (Lorsqu’on est assis sur la moto)
•Enlevez le boulon du levier de vitesse fléché sur la photo 2 et déplacez l'ensemble
pour qu'il repose sur le repose-pied passager afin qu'il ne soit pas gêné pour les
opérations futures.
•Déclipper le câblage / guide-câble fléché sur la photo 3.
•Retirez les deux boulons fléchés sur la photo 4 et dégagez délicatement le cache-
pignon en plastique du moteur (ne le retirez pas complètement à ce stade et
laissez l'entretoise / le support en métal en place).
•Déclipper le câblage / le guide-câble fléché sur la photo 5 et retirer le capot.
Coté droit (Lorsqu’on est assis sur la moto)
•Enlever l’écrou fléché sur la photo 6.
Côté gauche (Lorsqu’on est assis sur la moto)
•Retirez le boulon fléché sur la photo 7.
•Enlevez le boulon fléché sur la photo 8 (veillez à bien conserver l’entretoise
fléchée sur la photo 9 pour pouvoir l’assembler sur la barre Aventure).
•Enlevez le boulon indiqué fléché sur la photo 10 (veillez à bien conserver
l’entretoise fléchée sur la photo 11 pour pouvoir l’assembler sur la barre
Aventure).
•Placez l’une des rondelles M10 (article 5) sur le boulon à tête hexagonale M10 le
plus long (article 4), placez le boulon et la rondelle à travers le support de
fixation inférieur de la barre Aventure gauche (article 1) et placez l’entretoise la
plus longue (article). 7) sur le boulon exposé comme indiqué sur la photo 12.
•Présentez cet assemblage comme indiqué sur la photo 13 et poussez le boulon
dans le trou de boulon du moteur d'origine.
•Placez la vis à tête cylindrique M10 (longueur 130 mm) la plus longue (article 2)
dans le bossage de montage supérieur, puis à travers le support de cadre et
l'entretoise d'origine (engagez le filetage mais ne serrez pas à ce stade), comme
indiqué sur la photo 14.
•Placez l’un des boulons M10 (90 mm de long) (article 8) dans le support de
montage avant, puis à travers le support de cadre avant et l’entretoise d’origine
(engagez le filetage mais ne serrez pas à ce stade), comme indiqué sur la photo
15.

Coté droit (Lorsqu’on est assis sur la moto)
•Enlevez le boulon fléché sur la photo 16 (veillez à bien conserver l’entretoise
fléchée sur la photo 17 pour l’assemblage des barres Aventure).
•Retirez le boulon fléché sur la photo 18 (veillez à bien conserver l’entretoise
fléchée sur la photo 19 pour l’assemblage des barres Aventure).
•Placez l’entretoise la plus courte (article 10) sur le filetage apparent du boulon
inférieur, comme indiqué sur la photo 20.
•Placez la barre Aventure côté droit (article 11) comme indiqué sur la photo 21.
•Placez la rondelle M10 restante (article 5) et l'écrou d'origine sur le filetage
exposé (ne pas serrer à ce stade).
•Placez le boulon M10 (article 9) le plus long restant (article 9) dans le bossage de
montage supérieur, puis à travers le support de cadre et l'entretoise d'origine
(engagez le filetage mais ne serrez pas à ce stade), comme indiqué sur la photo
22.
•Placez le boulon M10 (article 8) restant dans le support de montage avant, puis à
travers le support de cadre avant et l'entretoise d'origine (engagez le filetage
mais ne serrez pas à ce stade), comme indiqué sur la photo 23.
•Serrez tous les boulons et écrous en veillant à ce que les barres Aventure soient
dégagées de toute autre partie de la moto.
•Montez les cache-boulons (articles 3 et 6) sur les boulons appropriés.
•Remettez le couvercle du pignon comme à l’origine (comme sur la photo 24).
•Reposer le levier de vitesse et le boulon comme à l'origine.

MONTAGEANLEITUNG
•Es wird empfohlen, den Motor während der Montage zu stützen (wie in
Abbildung 1 abgebildet). Somit wird verhindert, dass der Motor sich
bewegen kann, wenn die Originalschrauben gelöst / entfernt werden
(bitte keine übermäßige Kraft anwenden, da dies eventuell Schäden
verursachen kann).
Linke Seite (in Fahrtrichtung)
•Entfernen Sie die Schraube für den Schalthebel, die in Abbildung 2 mit einem
Pfeil gekennzeichnet ist. Die Schalthebel-Einheit auf die Beifahrer-Fußraste legen.
•Lösen Sie die Kabelführung, die in Abbildung 3 mit einem Pfeil gekennzeichnet
ist.
•Entfernen Sie die zwei Schrauben die in Abbildung 4 markiert sind und die
Kettenrad-Abdeckung vorsichtig vom Motor herabsetzen (zu diesem Zeitpunkt
nicht komplett entfernen, den Distanzhalter/Halter aus Metall in Position lassen).
•Lösen Sie die Kabelführung, die in Abbildung 5 mit einem Pfeil gekennzeichnet
ist und entfernen Sie die Abdeckung.
Rechte Seite (in Fahrtrichtung)
•Entfernen Sie die Mutter, die in Abbildung 6 mit einem Pfeil gekennzeichnet ist.
•Linke Seite (in Fahrtrichtung)
•Entfernen Sie die Schraube, die in Abbildung 7 mit einem Pfeil markiert ist.
•Entfernen Sie die Schraube, die in Abbildung 8 mit einem Pfeil gekennzeichnet
ist (bitte den Distanzhalter, der in Abbildung 9 markiert ist, für den späteren
Zusammenbau der Adventure-Sturzbügel aufheben).
•Entfernen Sie die Schraube, die in Abbildung 10 gekennzeichnet ist (bitte den
Distanzhalter, der in Abbildung 11 markiert ist, für den späteren Zusammenbau
der Adventure-Sturzbügel aufheben).
•Eine M10 Unterlegscheibe (Artikel 5) an der längsten M10 Sechskantschraube
(Artikel 4) montieren. Die Schraube mit der Mutter durch die untere
Montagehalterung für den linken Adventure-Sturzbügel (Artikel 1) führen und
den längsten Distanzhalter (Artikel 7) an der hervorstehenden Schraube
montieren –siehe Abbildung 12.
•Die Einheit in Position bringen wie in Abbildung 13 abgebildet und die Schraube
in die Öffnung für die original Motorschraube einsetzen.
•Die längste M10 Inbusschraube (130mm Länge - Artikel 2) in den oberen
Gewindeeinsatz einführen, dann durch die Rahmenhalterung und den original
Distanzhalter führen (das Gewinde einrasten aber zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch nicht
festziehen) wie in Abbildung 14 abgebildet.
•Eine M10 (90mm Länge) Inbusschraube (Artikel 8) in die vordere
Montagehalterung einführen, dann durch die vordere Rahmenhalterung und den
original Distanzhalter führen (das Gewinde einrasten aber zu diesem Zeitpunkt
noch nicht festziehen) wie in Abbildung 25 abgebildet.

•Entfernen Sie die Schraube, die in Abbildung 18 mit einem Pfeil gekennzeichnet
ist (bitte den Distanzhalter, der in Abbildung 19 markiert ist, für den späteren
Zusammenbau der Adventure-Sturzbügel aufheben).
•Den kürzesten Distanzhalter (Artikel 10) am hervorstehenden Gewinde der
unteren Schraube anbringen wie in Abbildung 20 abgebildet.
•Den Adventure-Sturzbügel für die rechte Seite (Artikel 11) in Position bringen
wie in Abbildung 21 abgebildet.
•Die übrige M10 Unterlegscheibe (Artikel 5) und die Originalmutter am
hervorstehenden Gewinde anbringen (zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch nicht festziehen).
•Die Längste der übrigen M10 Inbusschrauben (120mm Länge - Artikel 9) in den
oberen Gewindeeinsatz einführen, dann durch die Rahmenhalterung und den
original Distanzhalter führen (das Gewinde einrasten aber zu diesem Zeitpunkt
noch nicht festziehen) - siehe Abbildung 22.
•Die übrige M10 (90mm Länge) Inbusschraube (Artikel 8) in die vordere
Montagehalterung einführen, dann durch die vordere Rahmenhalterung und den
original Distanzhalter führen (das Gewinde einrasten aber zu diesem Zeitpunkt
noch nicht festziehen) wie in Abbildung 23 abgebildet.
•Ziehen Sie alle Schrauben und Muttern fest und überprüfen Sie, dass die
Adventure-Sturzbügel andere Teile des Motorrades nicht berühren.
•Montieren Sie die Schrauben-Abdeckungen (Artikel 3 und 6) an den
entsprechenden Schrauben.
•Montieren Sie die Kettenrad-Abdeckung wie ursprünglich wieder (achten Sie
darauf, dass die Verkabelung/Kabelführungen wie ursprünglich montiert werden)
–siehe Abbildung 24.
•Montieren Sie den Schalthebel und die Schraube wie ursprünglich wieder.
