Please note that in cases where kits are packed with rubber washers holding the components onto
the bolt –the rubber washers should be thrown away!

•Set of metric Allen keys to include 4, 5 & 6mm A/F sizes.
•Socket set to include 6 & 8mm sockets and wrench.
•12mm Spanner.
•Phillips screwdriver.
•Small amount of superglue.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
•To fit the R&G tail tidy, remove the pillion seat using the key and the rider’s seat by removing the
bolts securing the seat to the frame
•The rear fairing is made up of two main panels which must be removed. Start by removing the two
hex head bolts at the rear of the bike
•Concealed behind a rubber stop that is held in place you will find two more hex head bolts which
must be removed as shown in picture 4 and 5
•On the underside of the tail unit, remove the five push rivets, as shown in picture 6.
•Next remove the two bolts found on the top at the rear of the motorcycle that hold the rubber
joining panel in place, shown in picture 7
•For each side remove the bolts found at the front of the side panel shown in picture 8
•You should now be able to gently pull on the rear side panels of the motorcycle and they will
release as the locators release from the rubber grommets in the frame as in picture 9 and 10. Pull
the whole panel away from the bike evenly to avoid damage to the rear light locators.
•Now the lower splash guard can be removed as in picture 11
•Inside the tail section, remove the cable tie and disconnect the wiring connectors that relate to the
indicators and licence plate illuminator, as shown in picture 12. It is a good idea to note which
connector’s match, to make re-fitting easier and mark the indicators left & right. This is
particularly important if using R&G Mini Indicators.
•Remove the four bolts that mount the underside of the OEM licence plate bracket to the bike, and
carefully pull away from the bike, as shown in pictures 13 & 14.
To assemble Tail tidy
•Take the R&G licence plate bracket (item 1 –TB0159 Part 2) and fit it to the main bracket (item 3
–TB0251 Part 1) using the three M6 x 6mm long button head bolts (item 15), as shown in pictures
15 & 16.
•Fit the R&G license plate illuminator (item 2) to the assembly, as shown in picture 17. Use a small
amount of superglue to stick the light shroud in position. Fit one length of heatshrink to the wires
and tighten the nuts on the rear, as shown in picture 18.
•If you intend to re-use the OEM indicators, skip the following five stages.
To fit the R&G Mini Indicators
•Take one indicator, remove the nut and fit two of the Mini Indicator Adaptor plates (item 10 –
I0016)(stepped faces facing each other) over the wires, before relocating the nut. (Please use the
heatshrink (item 4) to protect the indicator wires), as shown in picture 19.
•Locate these through either indicator mounting hole, as shown in picture 20.
•Fit the nut to the exposed thread and tighten in place, ensuring the stepped face on the adaptor
plates locate correctly on either side of the metal bracket in the hole, as shown in picture 21.
•Repeat the above three steps for the remaining indicator.
•The wiring can now be fed through the two holes on either side of the main bracket and secured in
place using cable ties and the self-adhesive clips, as shown in picture 22 & 31.
•Attach the two CON0027 (item 18) to the indicator wires using the bullet connectors ensuring
BLACK to BLACK and YELLOW to BLUE.
To fit the OEM indicators
•The OEM indicators first need to be removed from the OEM licence plate hanger.
•Take the already removed license plate hanger and remove the four bolts, as shown in picture 23.
•With all four bolts removed, the assembly should separate as seen in picture 24.
•Untuck the wiring from the plastic wiring channel, as shown in picture 25.

•On the inside of the indicators, there is a small plastic plate which locates inside the rubber housing
of the indicator mount. Remove this plate and gently pull the indicator out of the hole, as shown in
pictures 26 & 27.
•Take the OEM Indicator Adaptor plates (item 11 –I0037) and fit one to each indicator rubber, as
shown in pictures 28 & 29.
•Locate the indicators through the indicator mounting hole on the tail tidy assembly (placing the
correct side indicator on the correct side of the tail tidy, as previously marked on the wiring) and
re-fit the small plastic plate inside the rubber to securely mount the indicator, as shown in picture
30.
•With indicators now attached CON0028 should be attached to the number plate light wires, ensure
to match BLACK to BLACK and GREEN to RED
•The wiring can now be fed through the two holes on either side of the main bracket and secured in
place using cable ties and the self-adhesive clips, as shown in picture 22 & 31.
•Take the cover plate (item 7 –TB0159 Part 3) and fit the rubber grommet (item 8) through the
central hole, as shown in picture 32.
•Offer up to the tail tidy assembly, ensuring it is orientated the correct way and feed the wiring
through the rubber grommet
•Align the four holes and fit the four M6 x 16mm long button head bolts (item 5) through the main
bracket and then the cover plate, as shown in picture 33.
•Offer the assembly up to the underside of the bike, feeding the wires through the large hole in the
rear subframe, and loosely tighten the four M6 x 16mm long button head bolts (item 5) into the
subframe mounts, as shown in picture 35. Whilst tightening, pay attention to the underside of the
tail light, as there is a small boss that needs to locate in the “T” shaped cut-out on the metal cover.

•Now carefully route the wires where they will not obstruct the seat mounting and simply reconnect
the indicators and license plate light the correct connector on the main wiring harness.
•It is a good idea at this point to turn the ignition on and check for the correct operation of all lights.
•Cable tie the wiring neatly together and re-fit any clips previously removed.
•Re-fit the plastic undertray, by locating the front tab into its housing, as shown in picture 38.
•Re-fit both side panels to the tail section, ensuring they slot over the undertray correctly, as shown
in picture 39.
•Re-fit the bolts and push rivets that secure the side panels in place.
•Re-fit the two OEM push rivets in the front two holes and the two push rivets supplied (item 17) in
the rear two holes to secure the side panels to the undertray, as shown in picture 40. In the
remaining central hole, fit the pine tree clip (item 16) supplied to blank this hole.
•Re-fit the remaining two bodywork joining panels and Philips screws.
•Ensure all bolts are tightened evenly.
•Re-fit the seat, securely mount the two bolts and re-fit the pillion seat.
•Re-fit the licence plate (it may require drilling).
•IMPORTANT: IF FITTING A FULL-SIZE LICENCE PLATE AND PLACING IT FAR
DOWN ON THE LICENCE PLATE HANGER, THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE OF THE
LICENCE PLATE HITTING THE BACK WHEEL UNDER HEAVY LOAD AND OVER
LARGE BUMPS IN THE ROAD. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK FOR THIS
POSSIBILITY AND TAKE AVOIDING ACTION. FAILURE TO CHECK THIS COULD
RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.
•Depending on local laws, attach enclosed reflector in an appropriate location.
•Test the license plate illuminator and all lights before riding.

shall exercise reasonable skill and care and rectify any fault free of charge unless the workmanship has been disturbed. The Buyer is responsible for
ensuring that the warranty on the motorcycle is not affected by the fitting of the Products. On return of any defective Products R&G shall at its option
either supply a replacement or refund the purchase money but shall not be liable if the Products have been modified or used or maintained otherwise than
in accordance with R&G’s or manufacturer’s instructions and good engineering practice or if the defect arises from accident or neglect. Other than
identified above and subject to R&G not limiting its liability for causing death and personal injury, it shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss
and otherwise its liability shall be limited to the amounts paid by the Buyer for the Products or the fitting or service concerned. These terms do not affect
the Buyer’s statutory rights.
R&G RACING RETURNS POLICY (NON-FAULTY GOODS)
Returns must be pre-authorised (if not pre-authorised the return will be rejected). Goods may only be returned direct to us if they were purchased direct
from us (customer must prove if necessary). Otherwise to be returned to original vendor. Goods must be in re-sellable condition, in the opinion of R&G
Racing. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee (25% of the gross value exc. P&P –at the prevailing price at time of purchase). The
customer must pay any and all carriage charges. No returns of discontinued products, unless within 14 days of purchase. This policy does not affect your
statutory rights and does not refer to faulty goods.

NOTICE DE MONTAGE
•Pour monter le support de plaque R&G, enlever le siège passager à l’aide de la clé ainsi que le
siège du pilote en enlevant les boulons qui fixent le siège au cadre.
•Le carénage arrière est composé de 2 panneaux principaux qui doivent être enlevés. Commencez
par enlever les 2 boulons à l’arrière de la moto.
•Caché derrière un arrêt en caoutchouc maintenu en place, vous trouverez deux autres boulons qui
doivent être retirés comme indiqué sur les photos 4 et 5.
•Au-dessous de l’unité de support de plaque, enlever les 5 rivets, voir photo 6.
•Enlever ensuite les 2 boulons situés sur le haut à l’arrière de la moto, qui fixent le panneau de
jonction en caoutchouc en place, voir photo 7.
•De chaque côté, enlever les boulons situés à l’avant du panneau latéral, voir photo 8
•Vous devriez à présent pouvoir tirer sur les panneaux latéraux arrière de la moto, ce qui les libèrera
car les onglets se libèreront des rondelles en caoutchouc du cadre, voir photo 9 et 10. Tirer tout le
panneau de la moto en même temps, afin d’éviter d’endommager les éléments de phare arrière.

•La protection anti-projections inférieure peut maintenant être retirée comme sur la photo 11.
•À l’intérieur de la partie arrière, retirez le serre-câble et débranchez les connecteurs de câblage
correspondant aux clignotants et au feu de plaque d’immatriculation, voir photo 12. Il est conseillé
de noter la correspondance des connecteurs pour faciliter le remontage et marquer les clignotants
gauches et droite. Ceci est particulièrement important si vous utilisez des mini clignotants R&G.
•Retirez les quatre boulons qui fixent le dessous du support de plaque d'immatriculation d’origine
sur la moto puis retirez-les avec précaution, voir photos 13 et 14.
Assembler le support arrière
•Prenez le support de plaque d'immatriculation R&G (article 1 - TB0159 partie 2) et installez-le sur
le support principal (article 3 - TB0251 partie 1) à l'aide des trois boulons M6 x 6 mm (article 15),
voir photos 15 & 16.
•Montez le feu de plaque d'immatriculation R&G (article 2) sur l'assemblage, voir photo 17. Utilisez
une petite quantité de colle pour coller le linceul de feu en position. Appliquez une longueur de
thermo rétractable sur les fils et serrez les écrous à l'arrière, voir photo 18.
•Si vous souhaitez réutiliser les clignotants d’origine, ignorez les cinq étapes suivantes.
Pour monter les mini clignotants R&G
•Prenez un clignotant, retirez l'écrou et montez deux des plaques de l'adaptateur de mini-clignotants
(article 10 - I0016) (faces crantées en vis-à-vis) sur les fils, avant de déplacer l'écrou. (Veuillez
utiliser le thermo rétractable (article 4) pour protéger les câbles de clignotants), comme indiqué sur
la photo 19.
•Placez-les dans l'un des trous de montage du clignotant, voir photo 20.
•Monter l'écrou sur le filetage exposé et serrer en place, en veillant à ce que la face crantée des
plaques d’adaptation soit correctement placée de chaque côté du support métallique dans le trou,
voir photo 21.
•Répétez les trois étapes ci-dessus pour le clignotant restant.
•Le câblage peut maintenant être acheminé par les deux trous de chaque côté du support principal et
fixé en place à l'aide des attaches de câble et des clips autocollants, voir photos 22 et 31.
•Fixez les deux CON0027 (article 18) sur les câbles de clignotants à l’aide des connecteurs en vous
assurant que NOIR soit avec NOIR et JAUNE avec BLEU.
Pour monter les clignotants d’origine
•Les clignotants d’origine doivent d'abord être retirés du support de plaque d'immatriculation
d’origine.
•Prenez le support de plaque d'immatriculation déjà retiré et retirez les quatre boulons, comme
indiqué sur la photo 23.
•Une fois les quatre boulons retirés, l’assemblage doit être séparé, comme indiqué sur la photo 24.
•Détachez le câblage du canal de câblage en plastique, comme indiqué sur la photo 25.
•À l’intérieur des clignotants, il y a une petite plaque en plastique qui se place à l’intérieur du boîtier
en caoutchouc du support de clignotant. Retirez cette plaque et retirez délicatement le clignotant du
trou, voir photos 26 et 27.
•Prenez les plaques du clignotant d’origine (article 11 - I0037) et installez-en une sur chaque
gomme, voir photos 28 et 29.
•Repérez les clignotants à travers le trou de montage du clignotant sur l’assemblage arrière (en
plaçant le bon clignotant latéral sur le bon côté du support, comme indiqué précédemment sur le
câblage) et remettez la petite plaque en plastique dans le caoutchouc pour fixer correctement le
clignotant, voir photo 30.
•Une fois les clignotants attachés, CON0028 devrait être attaché aux fils lumineux de la plaque
d'immatriculation, assurez-vous de faire correspondre NOIR avec NOIR et VERT avec ROUGE.

•Le câblage peut maintenant être acheminé par les deux trous de chaque côté du support principal et
fixé en place à l'aide des attaches de câble et des clips autocollants, comme illustré sur les photos
22 et 31.
•Prenez la plaque de recouvrement (article 7 - TB0159 partie 3) et insérez la rondelle en caoutchouc
(article 8) dans le trou central, comme indiqué sur la photo 32.
•Offrez-le à l'assemblage rangé de la queue, en vous assurant qu'il est orienté dans le bon sens puis
passez le câblage à travers l'œillet en caoutchouc.
•Alignez les quatre trous et fixez les quatre boulons M6 x 16 mm (article 5) à travers le support
principal puis la plaque de recouvrement, comme indiqué sur la photo 33.
•Assemblez le tout sous le vélo, faites passer les fils dans le grand trou du sous-cadre arrière et
serrez légèrement les quatre boulons M6 x 16 mm (article 5) dans les supports du sous-cadre,
comme illustré sur la photo 35. Tout en serrant, faites attention à la partie inférieure du feu arrière,
car il y a un petit bossage qui doit être placé dans la découpe en forme de "T" sur le couvercle en
métal, voir photo 36.
•Faites maintenant passer les fils avec précaution là où ils ne gêneront pas la fixation du siège et
rebranchez simplement les clignotants et allumez la plaque d'immatriculation du connecteur
approprié sur le faisceau de câbles principal.
•À ce stade, il est judicieux de mettre le contact et de vérifier le bon fonctionnement de tous les
feux.
•Attachez soigneusement le câble entre eux et réinsérez tous les clips précédemment retirés.
•Remettez le support en plastique en place en plaçant la languette avant dans son emplacement,
comme indiqué sur la photo 38.
•Remontez les deux panneaux latéraux sur la partie arrière, en vous assurant qu’ils s’alignent
correctement sur le passage de roue, comme illustré sur la photo 39.
•Réinsérez les boulons et poussez les rivets qui fixent les panneaux latéraux en place.
•Réinsérez les deux rivets d’origine dans les deux trous avant et les deux rivets fournis (article 17)
dans les deux trous arrière pour fixer les panneaux latéraux sur le passage de roue, comme indiqué
sur la photo 40. Dans le trou central restant, placez la pince à pin (article 16) fournie pour boucher
le trou.
•Remontez les deux autres panneaux de jonction et les vis cruciformes.
•Assurez-vous que tous les boulons soient serrés de façon égale.
•Remonter le siège.
•Remonter la plaque d’immatriculation (cette opération peut nécessiter un perçage).).
•IMPORTANT : Si vous installez une grosse plaque, il y a un risque que la plaque
entre en contact avec la roue arrière en cas de choc sur la route (bosse, grosse charge
etc..). Il est de votre responsabilité de vérifier que cela ne puisse pas se produire. Ne
pas effectuer ces vérifications peut entrainer des dommages ainsi que des blessures
graves pour le pilote.
•Selon les lois locales, attacher le réflecteur rouge (article 10) à l’endroit approprié.
•Tester le feu de plaque, les clignotants, ainsi que l’ensemble des feux avant de
prendre la route.

R&G RACING RETURNS POLICY (NON-FAULTY GOODS)
Returns must be pre-authorised (if not pre-authorised the return will be rejected). Goods may only be returned direct to us if they were purchased direct
from us (customer must prove if necessary). Otherwise to be returned to original vendor. Goods must be in re-sellable condition, in the opinion of R&G
Racing. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee (25% of the gross value exc. P&P –at the prevailing price at time of purchase). The
customer must pay any and all carriage charges. No returns of discontinued products, unless within 14 days of purchase. This policy does not affect your

MONTAGEANLEITUNG
•Um den R&G Kennzeichenhalter zu montieren, entfernen Sie den Beifahrersitz (Schlüssel
benutzen), danach den Fahrersitz entfernen (entfernen Sie die zwei Schrauben, die den Sitz am
Rahmen befestigen).
•Die hintere Verkleidung besteht aus zwei Hauptteilen, die entfernt werden müssen. Entfernen Sie
zuerst die zwei Sechskantschrauben hinten am Heck.
•Entfernen Sie auch die zwei Sechskantschrauben, die hinter dem Gummipuffer versteckt sind –
siehe Abbildungen 4 und 5
•Entfernen Sie die fünf Plastiknieten an der Unterseite des Hecks –siehe Abbildung 6.
•Als nächstes die zwei Schrauben oben auf dem Heck entfernen, die das Verbindungsteil aus
Gummi in Position befestigen - siehe Abbildung 7.
•Entfernen Sie die die Schrauben vorne am seitlichen Verkleidungsteil - siehe Abbildung 8

•Jetzt können Sie die hinteren, seitlichen Verkleidungsteile vorsichtig vom Motorrad ziehen –die
Laschen lösen sich hierbei von den Gummitüllen im Rahmen –siehe Abbildungen 9 und 10. Das
ganze Verkleidungsteil vorsichtig vom Motorrad wegziehen, um zu verhindern, dass die
Positionsgeber für die hintere Beleuchtung beschädigt werden.
•Den unteren Spritzschutz vom Motorrad entfernen –siehe Abbildung 11.
•Im Heckbereich nun den Kabelbinder entfernen und die Kabelverbindungen für die Blinker und
Kennzeichenbeleuchtung trennen –siehe Abbildung 12. Es empfiehlt sich nun, die Verbindungen
zu notieren, um somit das Anschließen später zu vereinfachen –markieren Sie auch die Blinker
entsprechend mit links oder rechts. Dies ist besonders wichtig, wenn Sie R&G Miniblinker
verwenden.
•Entfernen Sie die vier Schrauben, die die Unterseite des original Kennzeichenhalters am Motorrad
befestigen und entfernen Sie sie vom Motorrad –siehe Abbildungen 13 & 14.
Zusammenbau des Kennzeichenhalters
•Nehmen Sie den R&G Kennzeichenhalter (Artikel 1 –TB0159 Teil 2) und montieren Sie ihn an
der Haupthalterung (Artikel 3 –TB0251 Teil 1) mit den drei M6 x 6mm Inbusschrauben (Artikel
15) wie in den Abbildungen 15 & 16 abgebildet.
•Montieren Sie die R&G Kennzeichenbeleuchtung (Artikel 2) wie in Abbildung 17 abgebildet.
Benutzen Sie etwas Sekundenkleber, um die Lichtabdeckung in Position zu befestigen. Eine Länge
Schrumpfschlauch an den Kabeln anbringen und die Mutter hinten befestigen –siehe Abbildung
18.
•Wenn Sie die Originalblinker verwenden, überspringen Sie die nächsten fünf Schritte.
Wenn Sie R&G Miniblinker verwenden
•Nehmen Sie einen Blinker, entfernen Sie die Mutter und montieren Sie zwei Adapter (Artikel 10 –
I0016) (die gestuften Flächen sich gegenüberliegend), danach die Mutter wieder anbringen. Bitte
Schrumpfschlauch (Artikel 4) verwenden, um die Kabel an den Blinkern zu schützen –siehe
Abbildung 19.
•Diese führen Sie nun durch eine der Montageöffnungen –siehe Abbildung 20.
•Die Mutter am hervorstehenden Gewinde montieren und befestigen. Bitte darauf achten, dass die
gestuften Flächen der Adapter richtig an beiden Seiten der Metallhalterung in der Öffnung montiert
sind –siehe Abbildung 21.
•Diese drei Schritte mit dem übrigen Blinker wiederholen.
•Die Kabel können nun durch die zwei Öffnungen an beiden Seiten des Kennzeichenhalters geführt
und mit den Kabelbindern und selbstklebenden Clips in Position befestigt werden –siehe
Abbildungen 22 & 31.
•Die zwei CON0027 (Artikel 18) an den Kabeln für die Blinker anschließen mittels der
Kabelverbinder wie folgt: SCHWARZ mit SCHWARZ und GELB mit BLAU.
Wenn Sie die original Blinker verwenden
•Entfernen Sie zuerst die Originalblinker vom original Kennzeichenhalter.
•Nehmen Sie die bereits entfernten Halter und entfernen Sie die vier Schrauben, wie in Abbildung
23 abgebildet.
•Sobald die vier Schrauben entfernt wurden, kann die Einheit auseinander genommen werden –
siehe Abbildung 24.
•Die Kabel aus dem Plastikkanal herausnehmen –siehe Abbildung 25.
•An der Innenseite der Blinker ist eine kleine Platte aus Kunststoff, die im Kunststoffgehäuse der
Blinker-Halterung fixiert ist. Entfernen Sie die Platte und ziehen Sie den Blinker vorsichtig aus der
Öffnung, wie in den Abbildungen 26 & 27 abgebildet.
•Nehmen Sie die Adapter für die Originalblinker (Artikel 11 –I0037) und montieren Sie jeweils
eine an jedem Blinker-Gummi - siehe Abbildungen 28 & 29.
•Die Blinker in die Montageöffnungen im Kennzeichenhalter einführen (bitte darauf achten, dass
die Blinker an der jeweils richtigen Seite des Kennzeichenhalters montiert werden, wie zuvor an
