Tools Required: (Not included)
A. Phillips head screwdriver
B. Flat head screwdriver
C. 5mm Allen wrench
D. 3mm Allen wrench
E. 10mm open wrench
CAUTION: To avoid potential shock or other injury, turn power switch OFF and
disconnect charger before removing or installing the batteries. Failure to follow these steps
in the correct order may cause irreparable damage.
Turn the unit off, and using a 5mm Allen wrench
and a 10mm open wrench remove the four bolts
on your deck, the bolts at the front are held by
two 10mm nuts.
Disconnect the batteries and remove from the
tray to get better access to the throttle.

Using a Phillips screw driver remove the two
screws on the plastic piece that holds the cables
to the battery tray, and remove the rubber plug
located at the front of the battery tray.
Follow the throttle wire and disconnect it from
control module, Locate the throttle cable cut the
Zip Tie and remove the cable wrap Note: save
the cable wrap for re-assembly. Gently pull the
throttle cable through the hole in the battery tray.
Using a 3mm Allen wrench loosen the throttle
screw but do not remove and move throttle
away from the grip.
Carefully wedge the flat head screwdriver under
the edge of the handlebar grip add a small
amount of lubricant or water and remove the
grip. Note: save the grip for re-assembly
Reverse the procedures
• Place the throttle in place and secure it back in place, clean the grip from any water or lubricant anr re-install
• Re-connect the throttle to control module
• Place batteries back inside the tray
• Re-attach deck with 4 screws
ATTENTION: Charge battery 12 hours before using
