EMERGENCY OFF function and a rechargeable
battery unit.
This rechargeable battery unit allows the device to
be used independently of an external energy
source depending on the charge level of the re-
chargeable battery and thus increases mobility dur-
ing use.
The base frame members can be spread apart eas-
ily by operating the pedal and thus ensure in-
creased stability. The rear castors can easily be
loc ed with the loc ing lever using your foot.
Using the manual switch, the for ed arm can step-
lessly be moved up and down via the linear drive.
2. Warranty
The device has a warranty of 2 years, when re-
specting our general terms and conditions
(https://www.rebotec.de/agbs.html) and the in-
tended use of the device.
Any unauthorised changes to the device without
the consent of the manufacturer will void the war-
ranty.
The delivery date written on the RE O-
TEC delivery note applies as the valid
start date of the warranty period.
. Safety instructions for use
When using the medical device, ob-
serve the following safety instruc-
tions:
Attention - directions for use!
Before using the device for the first time, the User
Manual must be read completely in order to avoid
damage caused by fault operation or hazards.
Before each use, chec the device for visible
damage or deficiencies.
The medical device may only be operated by per-
sons who are familiar with the handling of the de-
vice. This requires the ability to use the device
with patients.
Standing-up hoists used in wet rooms may be ex-
posed to chlorine, high humidity and heat, which
can lead to oxidation that appears as white coat-
ing.
In case of malfunctions or damage of any ind,
the device must not be used.
Caution - danger of breakage!
The max. allowable load must not be ex-
ceeded, as otherwise safe operation can no
longer be guaranteed.
Whenever using a sling, ma e sure that it is
properly mounted to the for ed arm. Do not use
any sling that shows signs of damage.
Do not place any objects between the column
and the linear drive. Lateral forces must not be
applied to the linear drive.
The patient must not hold onto the linear drive.
Weight loads must not be hung onto the for ed
arm for an extended period of time.
Caution - risk of injury!
The device must not be operated while it is con-
nected to the mains in order to charge the re-
chargeable battery.
The device is for indoor use and use on even and
slip-resistant surfaces only. Using the device on
slopes, grades or inclinations must be avoided
due to the increased ris of accidents.
Caution is required when travelling in confined
spaces. Paths used by the medical device must
be cleared before they are travelled on.
Sudden movements and pushing as well as
swinging the patient to be moved must be
avoided due to the increased ris of accidents.
Never leave the patient unsupervised when us-
ing the device! An unforeseen action or move-
ment by the patient may lead to a possible ris of
injury.
In the event of an emergency lowering of the pa-
tient, proceed with the utmost caution to avoid
putting the patient at ris . In difficult situations,
see the assistance of another person if neces-
sary.
Chec the hoo s of the for ed arm at regular in-
tervals.
Caution - risk of malfunction!
It must be assured that no moisture enters the
electrical system.
(Observe the degrees of protection!)
Do not open the housings of the electronic com-
ponents.
If the linear drive does not wor (drive must not
start up while it is bloc ed), the device must not
be put into operation.
Do not charge the rechargeable battery in wet
rooms (e.g.: bathrooms, toilets).
Pay attention to electromagnetic interference(s)
to other devices (such as mobile phones, medi-
cal devices)!
4. Reuse & lifetime
The device is suitable for reuse. How often the de-
vice can be reused depends on the type and inten-
sity of use. Before reuse, the device must be repro-
cessed hygienically and the technical functional
safety and reliability must be chec ed and restored
if necessary.
If the device is used as intended according to the
safety instructions, its lifetime is 5 years.
The effective lifetime, however, may vary depend-
ing on the frequency and intensity of use and the
general condition.
