NON ALIMENTARE IL GONFIATORE AD UNA TENSIONE PIÙ ALTA DELLA NOMINALE.
REGOLE DI SICUREZZA GENERALI
1. CONSIDERARE SEMPRE L’AMBIENTE DI LAVORO.
Non esporre il gonfiatore alla pioggia. Non utilizzare in presenza di liquidi o gas infiammabili.
2. EVITARE AVVII NON INTENZIONALI.
Non avviare il gonfiatore con la bocca di ingresso in contatto con polvere o acqua.
3. STARE ATTENTI.
Occorre sempre prestare attenzione. Usare il buon senso.
4. CONTROLLARE CHE NON VI SIANO PARTI DANNEGGIATE.
Prima di usare il gonfiatore accertarsi che le parti esterne siano integre e che il gonfiatore operi nel modo per il quale è progettato.
5. NON USARE il gonfiatore nei pressi di liquidi infiammabili o atmosfere gassose o esplosive. Il motore di questo gonfiatore produce
scintille e queste possono accendere fumi.
6. ATTENZIONE A NON INALARE!
L’aria compressa proveniente dal gonfiatore non è pura. Non inalaremai aria dal vostro gonfiatore o da un dispositivo di respirazione
collegato al gonfiatore.
7. ATTENZIONE! RISCHIO DI SCOPPIO.
Gonfiare alla pressione raccomandata dal costruttore. Una pressione eccessiva può causare uno scoppio pericoloso per le persone.
8. NON LASCIARE MAI IL DISPOSITIVO SENZA CONTROLLO.

9. ATTENZIONE! RISCHIO DI MALFUNZIONAMENTO.
Non modificare o tentare di riparare. Non perforare l’involucro o fare qualsiasi modifica al gonfiatore o alle sue parti.
10. ATTENZIONE! RISCHIO DI INCENDIO.
Far raffreddare il gonfiatore per 20 minuti dopo averlo utilizzato per un massimo di 15 minuti.
11. Non trasportare mai la pompa tramite il tubo o il cavo.
INTRODUZIONE
Il TURBO MAX è un gonfiatore elettrico portatile ad alta efficienza, sinonimo di affidabilità e funzionalità. Il TURBO MAX è dotato di due
potenti motori in corrente continua che azionano turbine poste in serie fra di loro, che permettono di gonfiare qualsiasi oggetto a una
pressione compresa tra i 10 ed i 250 mbar. Il gonfiatore è dotato di LED che monitorano lo stato della pompa durante il funzionamento. Il
gonfiatore si avvia quando si preme il tasto ON e si spegne automaticamente quando raggiunge la pressione impostata sulla manopola
(2). Quando l’utilizzatore preme il tasto OFF, l’apparato si arresta.

•Zattere / materassi ad aria / gonfiabili da piscina / ecc.

LED DI STATO
Il gonfiatore è dotato di due LED (A e B) che permettono il monitoraggio dello stato della batteria e la temperatura della pompa.
Il LED A segnala gli errori di funzionamento per il quale il gonfiatore ha arrestato il suo ciclo di funzionamento (si rinvia al paragrafo
Monitoraggio Stato Gonfiatore e Batteria).
Il LED B segnala lo stato di carica della batteria

UTILIZZO del TURBO MAX
ACCESSORI E CAVI DI ALIMENTAZIONE
•Nelle versioni TURBO MAX 12V e TURBO MAX 24V/S, il tubo di gonfiaggio, gli adattatori ed il cavo con morsetti sono inseriti
nella borsa.
•Nelle versioni TURBO MAX KIT12V e TURBO MAX KIT 24V-EV, essendo destinate ad un’installazione fissa, sono fornite le
staffe e le viti di montaggio, il cavo di alimentazione è lungo 50 cm edè cablato con unconnettore da 100 A. Il tubo di gonfiaggio
viene fornito su richiesta con i raccordi per valvole inclusi.
COLLEGAMENTO DEGLI ACCESSORI
•Il gonfiatore è fornito con adattatori conici standard che si trovano nella borsa.
•Scegliere dal kit in dotazione l’adattatore più idoneo per la valvola presente sull’oggetto da gonfiare.
Un apposito adattatore deve inserirsi nella valvola e mantenerla aperta durante tutta la fase di gonfiaggio/sgonfiaggio.
Adattatori con all’interno una cross-bar sono più raccomandati per gonfiatori elettrici.
Adattatori per valvole a baionetta sono disponibili come optional (consultare catalogo).
•Assicurarsi che l’interruttore principale sia su OFF.
•Prendere il tubo di gonfiaggio dalla borsa.
•Collegare il tubo di gonfiaggio alla bocca per gonfiare (OUT) o alla bocca per sgonfiare (IN).
•Montare l’adattatore più idoneo individuato al punto precedente.
•Inserire l’adattatore nella valvola dell’oggetto da gonfiare/sgonfiare.
ACCENSIONE DEL GONFIATORE
•Collegare i morsetti alla batteria o assicurarsi per le versioni KIT che i connettori di alimentazione siano collegati correttamente
•Stendere sempre il cavo elettrico.
•Selezionare la pressione di gonfiaggio desiderata (valore tra 175 e 250 mbar).
Per sgonfiare porre la manopola di regolazione della pressione su 175 mbar.
•Mettere l’interruttore su ON. Il LED B inizia a lampeggiare segnalando lo stato della batteria (si rinvia al paragrafo Monitoraggio
Stato Gonfiatore e Batteria)
•Premere l’interruttore START. Il LED B passa da lampeggiante a fisso con il colore dello stato batteria
•In fase di gonfiaggio il gonfiatore si arresterà alla pressione impostata e il LED B tornerà a lampeggiare
•In caso di errore il gonfiatore va in autoprotezione arrestandosi. Il LED A si illumina per indicare il tipo di problema (si rimanda
al paragrafo Monitoraggio Stato Gonfiabile e Batteria). Dopo aver risolto il problema ènecessario premere START per riavviare
il gonfiatore

ATTENZIONE
Assicurarsi della corretta polarità (morsetto rosso al positivo).
In caso contrario il gonfiature NON SI AVVIERÀ.
ATTENZIONE
Prestare attenzione quando si collega il cavo di alimentazione alla batteria per evitare che si generino corto circuiti con
conseguente pericolo di incendio
ATTENZIONE
Controllare la tensione. Non collegare il gonfiature a 12V con una batteria a 24V.
ATTENZIONE
Non lasciare mai incustodito il gonfiatore acceso. Il gonfiaggio eccessivo di un oggetto può provocare gravi conseguenze.
ATTENZIONE
Controllare sempre la pressione massima di gonfiaggio per evitare rischi di scoppio.

ATTENZIONE
L’uso di qualsiasi accessorio non raccomandato per questo gonfiatore può essere pericoloso.

1. MONTAGGIO CONNETTORE
•Inserire sulle estremità del cavo i coperchi ed i gommini rossi (fig. 1).
Per garantire il passaggio di corrente consigliamo, dopo la crimpatura del faston, di stagnare l’estremità del cavo al
connettore (fig. 1 –freccia).
•Inserire i faston nella loro sede, facendo attenzione al senso del dente di aggancio (fig. 2) ed alla polarità (fig. 4).
•Inserire nella loro sede i gommini ed i coperchi (fig. 3).
2. CAVO DI ALIMENTAZIONE
La sezione del cavo di alimentazione dell’impianto di bordo deve essere adeguata alla sua lunghezza:
•Per lunghezza del cavo fino a 6 metri: sezione 10 mm2
•Per lunghezza del cavo da 6 a 12 metri: sezione 16 mm2
3. FISSAGGIO GONFIATORE
Il gonfiatore può essere fissato all’imbarcazione utilizzando le squadrette “B” (fig. 5) in dotazione, oppure dopo aver effettuato
un foro per l’incasso a pannello (fig. 6), si può fissare ai fori “A” (fig. 5) con delle viti autofilettanti con Ø 4.5 mm. La lunghezza
massima della vite nel gonfiatore è di 8 mm.
4. PREPARAZIONE TUBO DI GONFIAGGIO
Tagliare il tubo della misura desiderata. Inserire in una delle due estremità il raccordo rosso per collegare il tubo al gonfiatore.
Nell’estremità opposta inserire ed incollare il riduttore in PVC morbido. Successivamente innestare il raccordo per la valvola
facendo attenzione a scegliere dal kit in dotazione quello che consente l’apertura completa della valvola stessa.

WARNINGS:

7. Do not disassemble product. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of short circuit.
8. Provide adequate ventilation and refrain from placing items on or around the inflator during operation.
9. Do not block the inlet port.

11. Since the vibrations produced by the inflator may cause it to “walk”, do not operate on a high shelf and keep movements under
control.
DO NOT SUPPLY THE INFLATOR AT HIGHER VOLTAGE THAN NORMAL.

GENERAL SAFETY RULES
1. CONSIDER WORK AREA ENVIRONMENT.
Don’t expose the inflator to rain. Don’t use in presence of flammable liquids or gases.
2. AVOID UNINTENTIONAL STARTING.
Don’t start the inflator with the inlet port in contact with dust or water.
3. STAY ALERT.
Watch what you are doing. Use common sense
4. CHECK DAMAGED PARTS.
Before further use ofthe inflator, any damaged part should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform
its intended function.
5. DO NOT OPERATE the inflator near flammable liquids or in gaseous or explosive atmospheres. Motors in these inflators normally
spark and the sparks might ignite fumes.
6. WARNING! DO NOT INHALE.
The compressed air from your inflator is not safe for breathing. Never inhale air from your inflator or from a breathing device
connected to the inflator.
7. WARNING! RISK OF BURSTING.
Inflate items only to their manufacturer’s recommendations. Over-inflation could cause them to explode resulting in personal injury.
8. DO NOT LEAVE THE UNIT RUNNING UNATTENDED.
Over-inflation could result in serious injury and property damage
9. WARNING! RISK OF UNSAFE OPERATION.
Do not modify or attempt to repair. Never drill into or make any modifications to the inflator or its accessories.
10. WARNING! FIRE RISK.
Let the inflator cool down for 20 minutes after an operation time of 15 minutes maximum.
11. Never carry the inflator by the hose or by the power cord.
INTRODUCTION
TURBO MAX is a highly efficient, functional and reliable portable electrical inflator. It is equipped with two powerful DC motors that drive
two turbines connected in series, capable of inflating any objects to a pressure between 10 and 250 mbar. It is also provided with LED
indicators which monitor the status of the inflator during operation.
The inflator is started by pressing the ON button and switches off automatically when the pressure set on the knob (2) is reached. The
inflator stops, when the OFF button is pressed.

LED INDICATORS
The inflator is equipped with LED indicators (A and B) which monitor the status of the battery and the inflator temperature.
LED A indicates the problem that has caused the inflator failure (see below table: Inflator status indicators).
LED B indicates the battery charging status.

USE of TURBO MAX
ACCESSORIES AND POWER CABLES
•TURBO MAX 12V and TURBO MAX 24V/S versions: inflation hose, adaptors and power cable with alligator clips are located in
the carry bag
•TURBOMAX KIT12V and TURBO MAX KIT 24V-EV versions: the kit for permanent installation is supplied with brackets, screws
and a 50 cm-long power cable with a 100 A cabled connector. The inflation hose is supplied on demand with standard valves
fittings.
ACCESSORIES FITTING
•The inflator is supplied with the standard tapered fittings, that are located in the carry bag.
•Chose the correct inflation valve fitting from the supplied fittings kit.
•During inflation/deflation the valve must be kept open by a suitable adaptor. Adaptors with inner cross bars are recommended
for use with electrical inflators. Optional bayonet adaptors are available from Scoprega catalogue.
•Make sure that the main switch is set on OFF.
•Take the inflation hose from the bag.
•Connect the inflation hose to the inflation port (OUT) or to the deflation port (IN).
•Install the chosen inflation valve fitting.
•Fit the adaptor onto the inflation valve.
OPERATING THE INFLATOR
•Connect the clips to the battery terminals (for KIT versions: make sure the connectors are correctly assembled).
•Always stretch the electric cable.
•Set the desired pressure value (between 175 and 250 mbar).
•To deflate set the pressure value on 175 mbar.
•Switch the ON/OFF button ON. LED B starts flashing, indicating the status of the battery (see the table below: Inflator status
indicators).
•Press the START button. LED B changes from flashing to steady (colour depending on the battery status).
•When inflating, the inflator switches off automatically when the set pressure is reached. LED B will resume flashing.
•As a protective mechanism, in case of problems the inflator switches off: LED A turns on, its colour depending on the cause of
the problem (see below table: Inflator status indicators). Once the problem has been fixed, the inflator must be re-started by
pressing START.

WARNING
Make sure polarity is correct (red is positive).
Otherwise the inflator WILL NOT START.

When connecting the cable to the battery, make sure to avoid short circuits and possible fire risk.

Check the proper voltage. Do not operate a 12V inflator with a 24V battery.

The use of any accessories not recommended for use this inflator could be hazardous.

1. CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
•Put the lids and the small red plugs onto the cable ends (pic. 1).
•After crimping the faston, it is recommended to solder the connector-to-cable terminal to ensure current flow (pic. 1 –
arrow).
•Insert the fastons into their seats, checking clip direction (pic. 2) and polarity (pic. 4).
•Adjust the lids and the red plugs onto the connector (fig. 3).
2. POWER CABLE
The cable section must match the length of the on-board system:
•For cable length up to 6 m: 10 mm2section
•For cable length from 6 m to 12 m: 16 mm2section

3. INFLATOR ASSEMBLY
The inflator can be mounted on the dinghy by means of the supplied “B” brackets. Otherwise, it can be wall-mounted after cutting a
hole (pic. 6), by securing it to the “A” holes through Ø 4,5 mm self-threading screws. Maximum screw length inside the inflator: 8
mm.
4. INFLATION TUBE ASSEMBLY
Cut the hose to the needed length. Insert the large red connector into one of the hose ends to connect it to the inflator.
