Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Der Näherungsschalter erfaßt berührungslos Metalle und meldet sie
durch ein Schaltsignal.
• Nennschaltabstand (Sn): 50 mm;
• Arbeitsabstand (Sa): 40mm (bündig und überbündig eingebaut);
35mm (nicht bündig eingebaut).
(Werte nach Norm-Messung auf ST 37; bei anderen Metallen kürzer).
Montage
Befestigen Sie das Gerät auf einer Normschiene oder mit Hilfe einer
Montagehalterung.
3 Einbauarten:
Freiräume an der aktiven Fläche bei Einbau in Metall:
Mindestabstände bei Montage mehrerer Schalter gleichen Typs:
Elektrischer Anschluß
Schalten Sie die Anlage vor dem Anschluß spannungsfrei. Bei
Geräten mit Steckverbindung ist der Steckereinsatz drehbar (in
45°-Schritten).
Betrieb
Prüfen Sie, ob der Schalter sicher funktioniert:
• Die grüne LED leuchtet, wenn Versorgungsspannung anliegt.
• Die gelbe LED leuchtet bei durchgeschaltetem Ausgang.
Der Betrieb des Näherungsschalters ist wartungsfrei. Für einwandfrei-
es Funktionieren ist zu beachten:
• Die aktive Fläche und der Freiraum sollten von metallischen Ablage-
rungen und Fremdkörpern freigehalten werden; insbesondere bei
Montage mit aktiver Fläche nach oben.
• EMV: Das Gerät erfüllt die Anforderungen nach EN60947-5-2

Function and features
This proximity switch detects metals without contact and indicates
their presence by providing a switched signal.
•Nominal sensing range (Sn): 50 mm;
•Operating distance (Sa): 40mm (flush and over flush installation);
35mm (non-flush installation).
(Values based on standard measurement with mild steel; a shorter
sensing range for other metals).
Installation
Mount the unit on a DIN rail or by means of a mounting fixture.

Ce détecteur de proximité détecte les métaux sans contact et indique
leur présence par un signal de commutation.
•Por tée nominale (Sn): 50 mm,
•por tée de travail (Sa): 40mm ( encastré / encastré et en retrait);
35mm (montage non encastré).
(Valeurs définies par mesure selon les normes avec acier 37; en cas
d’autres métaux portée inférieure à 50 mm).
Montage
Monter l’appareil sur un profilé normalisé (rail DIN) ou à l’aide d’un
dispositif de montage.
3 possibilités de montage:

Raccordement électrique
Mettre l’installation hors tension avant le raccordement du
détecteur de proximité.
L’embase des appareils avec connecteur peut pivoter (en pas de
45°).
Fonctionnement
Vérifier le bon fonctionnement du détecteur.
•La LED ver te est allumée lorsque la tension d’alimentation est
appliquée.
•La LED jaune est allumée lorsque la sor tie est commutée.
Pour un bon fonctionnemnt il faut respecter les indications suivantes:
La face active et l’espace libre doivent être dégagés de toute présence
de dépôts et de corps étrangers métalliques, notamment en cas de
montage avec la face active vers le haut.
CEM: L’appareil est en harmonie avec les exigences selon
EN60947-5-2
Minimum distance when several switches of the same type are mounted:
Electrical connection
Disconnect power before connecting the proximity switch.
The plug adapter of units with plug and socket connection can
be rotated (45° steps).
Operation
Check the safe functioning of the switch.
•The gr een LED is lit when the supply voltage is applied.
•The yellow LED is lit when the output is switched.
The operation of the proximity switch is maintenance-free.
For perfect functioning make sure that the sensing face and the open
space are kept free of metal deposits and foreign bodies, particularl

EMC: The unit conforms to the requirements of EN60947-5-2.
