‡Stecker nicht unter Spannung trennen.
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Dieser Magnetische Zylindersensor für T-Nut wird zum Erfassen von magnetischen
Feldern in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen eingesetzt. Er darf nur komplett in der
T-Nut montiert verwendet werden. Der Sensor ist vor UV-Licht zu schützen. Die
Leitung ist geschützt zu verlegen, bzw. es ist eine zusätzliche Zugentlastung
vorzusehen.
Eine Verwendung an Schwalbenschwanznut-Zylindern ist in Kombination mit dem
SICK-Adapter BEF-KHZ-ST1 (Bestell-Nr. 2 022 703), bzw. an Profilstangen-/
Zugstangenzylindern in Kombination mit dem SICK-Adapter BEF-KHZ-PT1 (Bestell-
Nr. 2 022 702) ohne Einschränkung möglich, wenn der Sensor komplett in der Nut
des Adapters montiert wird.
Bei derVerwendung des Sensors an Rundzylindern in Kombination mit einem der
SICK-Adapter BEF-KHZ-RT1-25 (Bestell-Nr. 5 311 171), BEF-KHZ-RT1-63 (Bestell-
Nr. 5 311 172) oder BEF-KHZ-RT1-130 (Bestell-Nr. 5 311 506) gelten folgende
Einschränkungen:
‡Umgebungstemperatur Ta= 0 °C … +45 °C.
‡Niedriger Gefährdungsgrad bzgl. Schlagenergie nach EN 50 021.

Betriebsspannung Ub= 18 ... 30 V DC
Dauerstrom Ia≤70 mA
Inbetriebnahme
Beim Anschluss des Sensors an eine Spannungsquelle müssen folgende Punkte
berücksichtigt werden:
a.) Die Leistungsdaten (Betriebsspannung, Dauerstrom).
b.) Das Anschlussdiagramm des Sensors.
Wartung
Der Magnetische Zylindersensor fürT-Nut von SICK ist wartungsfrei.Wir empfeh-
len, in regelmäßigen Abständen die Anschlüsse zu überprüfen.

‡Do not disconnect the plug while power is on.
Proper Use
This magnetic cylinder sensor for T-slot is used for detecting magnetic fields in
explosion-proof areas. It may only be mounted as a complete unit in the
T-slot.The sensor should be protected against UV light.The cable should be
protected against physical damage and a cord grip have to be installed.
Use on dovetail cylinders is possible in combination with SICK Adapter BEF-KHZ-
ST1 (Part no. 2 022 703), or on profile rod/tension rod cylinders in combination
with SICK Adapter BEF-KHZ-PT1 (Part no. 2 022 702) if the sensor is mounted
completely in the slot of the adapter.
If the sensor is used on round cylinders in combination with one of the SICK Adapter
BEF-KHZ-RT1-25 (Part no. 5 311 171), BEF-KHZ-RT1-63 (Part no. 5 311 172) or
BEF-KHZ-RT1-130 (Part no. 5 311 506), the following restrictions apply:
‡Ambient temperature Ta= 0 °C … +45 °C.
‡Low danger rate or shock energy according to EN 50 021.

Commissioning
The following must be observed when connecting the sensor to a voltage source:
a.) The performance data (operating voltage, continuous current).
b.) The connection diagram of the sensor.
Maintenance
The magnetic cylinder sensor for T-slot from SICK does not require any
maintenance.We recommend that you check the connections at regular intervals.
