General 1
Safety information 1
Checks and adjustments which must be performed with radiation switched ON are identi-
fied by the radiation warning symbol . During these types of adjustments, radiation pro-
tective clothing must be worn.
Protective conductor test 1
Perform the protective conductor test according to TI 236 / ARTD - 002.731.17... after
completing all work and reinstalling all covers.
The protective conductor resistance must not exceed 0.2 ohms.
Additional Information 1
These instructions apply to retrofitting a video recorder on a SIREMOBIL Compactsystem
only.

Line voltage cable 1
•ConnectthevideorecorderlinevoltagecableatterminalsX2.1andX2.2.
•Connecttheprotectiveconductortotheprotectiveconductorterminalstrip(ge/gn).
•Routethe videorecorderline voltagecableto the video recordercompartment.
Video cable 1
With an existing multiformat camera or video printer 1
•Remove the75 Ohm terminationfrom the video outputof the muliformat camera or
switchoff the 75 Ohm terminationforthevideoprinter.
•Connectthe video cableat thevideooutput of the multiformatcamera or thevideo
printerandroutethecable to the videorecordercompartment.
•Connectthe video recorder.Ensure proper terminationofthevideo cable
(75Ohm).
Without a multiformat camera or video printer 1
•Connectthe video cableto Memoskopconnector"Out3".
•Routethe videocabletothe video recordercompartment.
•Connectthe video recorder.Ensure thatthevideocable is terminatedcorrectly
(75Ohm).
Programming 1
On Memoskop C (with keyboard) 1
•Switchthesystem on.
•Simultaneouslypresskeys[CTRL] and [U] on the memory keyboard.
➪This calls the User Setup menu for Memoskop.
•Call up the"B output forvideo recorder" submenu.
•Perform theconfigurationfor monitor A.
(PerformtheconfigurationformonitorB only by specialcustomerrequest).
•Endtheusermenu.
•SwitchtheSIREMOBIL Compact off and on again toactivatethe new configuration.
Disconnect the SIREMOBIL Compact line voltage cable prior to
beginning work.

For Memoskop C-E (without keyboard) 1
•Switchonthesystem.
•OnMemoskopC-E,thekeyboard connectorincludesanadapter.
•Connectthe Service PC to the adapteron MemoskopC-Eandstart Windows.
•Call up the"terminal.exe" program.
•Setthe followingin the "terminal.exe"program:
•Adjustto the interfacebeingused(COM1 / COM2).
•The keyboard isnow emulatedwith theservice PC.
•Simultaneouslypressthe[CTRL] and [U] keysontheservicePC.
➪This calls the User Setup menu for Memoskop.
•Call up the"B output forvideo recorder" submenu.
•Perform theconfigurationfor monitorA.
(PerformtheconfigurationformonitorB only by specialcustomer request.)
•End the User menu.
•SwitchtheSIREMOBIL Compactoffandonagainto activatethenewconfiguration.
Function check 1
•Setthe videorecorderto exposure.
•WIthFluoro, move the collimatorbladesslightlyinto the field.
Releasefluoro forapproximately20seconds.
•Stopthe videorecorderand rewind thetape.
•Connecta 50 Hz/ 60 Hz monitor tothevideooutput ofthe videorecorderand replaythe
scene.
Concluding work 1
•SwitchOFFtheSIREMOBIL.
•Testthe protectiveconductor withtheprotectiveconductormeter 44 15 899 RV 090.

9600 Baud 8 Bit Parity none 1 Stopbit
The service PC keyboard does not include the >|< (Home) key.
Instead, in the main User Setup menu enter the letter "O". Enter
the next unused number in the sub-menu of the User Setup.
Example: The last sub-menu is called up by entering the number
12. -> The >|< (Home) key would be emulated by entering the num-
ber 13.
