TheEolisshouldbemountedasclosetothemotoraspossible.If
mountedoutside,ensurethattheconnectionsarefacingdowntoavoid
rainseepage.Avoidmountingthecontrolagainstanymetallicsurface,
asthismayaffecttheradioreception.
Connecthighandlowvoltagewiresaccordingtothewiringdiagram
onthenextpage.
Makesuretouseincluded
watertightstrainrelieffittingstomaintaintheweatherproofingofthe
enclosure.
Thewindsensorshouldbeplacedclosetotheawningorshading
systemtomakesurethewindspeedismeasuredattheproduct.
Guardagainstinstallingthewindsensortooclosetoanobstruction
suchasachimney,gutterorthewindowtreatmentitself,whichcould
blockthewindandcauseerroneoussensorreadings.Thesensor
shouldnotbemorethan100feetfromthecontrol.
Thelowvoltageswitchshouldbelocatednomorethan100feetfrom
theEolisControl.
Itisrecommendedthatthelowvoltagewiringis
donefirst,foreasieraccesstotheterminals.
Removetheback
coverofthesensorandconnectthetwo-wirecable(included)fromthe
terminalsonthesensortotheterminalsonthecontrol.Refertothe
diagramonthenextpage.
ThenewSomfyEolisisasinglemotorcontroldesignedforresidential
use.Itincludesawindsensorandalowvoltageswitch.Windspeedis
continuouslymonitored,triggeringthecontroltoretractawningsor
lowershuttersautomaticallyasneeded.
Thisnewcontrolispackagedina
weatherproofenclosureandincludeswatertightstrain-relieffittingsfor
wiresenteringthebox.
Twouser-definedintermediate
positionscanbeprogrammed.

willreturntonormaloperationfollowingaverybriefdelay.
OperateeachmotorintheDOWNdirectionbypressingthedown
arrowonthelowvoltageswitch.
