Allgemein
Das Fingerprint Modul FPM 611-01
im Vario-Design ist ein Zugangs-
Kontrollsystem, das sowohl im
Stand-alone-Betrieb (eigenständige
Anlage) als auch im Siedle Vario-Bus
eingesetzt wird. In diesem System
wird ein eingelesener Fingerabdruck
zur Ansteuerung einer Funktion
verwen-det.
Hinweis zum Aufstellort
Das Modul kann in allen Vario-
Gehäusen, sowohl im Außen- als
auch im Innenbereich, eingesetzt
werden.
Sollten Sie das Modul im Außenbe-
reich aufstellen, empfehlen wir
einen wettergeschützten Bereich.
Ansteuerung einer Funktion
(z. B. Türöffner)
Zur Ansteuerung einer Funktion,
(z. B. eines Türöffners), steht ein
potentialfreier Kontakt direkt im
FPM 611-... zur Verfügung
(Schließzeit 3 Sek.)
Leitungsmaterial
für die Installation
Für die Installation kann, im Stand-
alone-Betrieb, Schwachstrom-
leitungen YR 0,8 mm Ader-
durchmesser verwendet werden.
Reichweite
Zwischen Transformator und
FPM 611-... ist die Reichweite auf
130 m bei 0,8 mm Aderdurchmesser
begrenzt.
Leitungsführung
Um die allgemeinen Sicherheitsbe-
stimmungen für Fernmeldeanlagen
nach VDE 0100 und VDE 0800 zu
erfüllen und Störeinflüsse zu ver-
meiden, muss auf getrennte
Führung von Stark- und Schwach-
stromleitungen geachtet werden. Ein
Abstand von 10 cm ist einzuhalten.

Sicherheitshinweis/
Diebstahlschutz
Um ein FPM 611-... manipulations-
sicher einzubauen, empfehlen wir
den Einsatz eines Diebstahlschutz-
controllers DSC 602-0. In Verbin-
dung mit dem Zubehör-Diebstahl-
schutz ZDS 601-0 kann das
FPM 611-... nur unter Gewaltein-
wirkung manipuliert werden.

Das Fingerprint Modul FPM 611-...
im Vario-Design ist ein Zugangs-
Kontrollsystem, das sowohl im
Stand-alone-Betrieb (eigenständige
Anlage) als auch im Siedle Vario-Bus
eingesetzt wird.
In diesem System wird ein eingelese-
ner Fingerabdruck zur Ansteuerung
einer Funktion (z.B. Türöffner) ver-
wendet.
Es können, in jeder Betriebsart, bis
max. 100 Teilnehmer (einlesbare
Benutzerfinger) verwaltet werden.
Vario-Bus-Betrieb
Bei Busbetrieb erfolgt das Einlesen/-
Löschen der Finger über das Pro-
grammierinterface PRI 602-0, die
Programmiersoftware PRS 602-0
und einen IBM kompatibler PC.
Die Bedienung und die Vorgehens-
weise ist in der Programmieranlei-
tung des EC 602-... beschrieben.
Welche Finger gibt es?
iiWas kann ein Finger?
Jeder Finger kann nur für eine Art
(Administrator-, Gruppenadmini-
strator-, Master-, Gruppenmaster-
oder Benutzerfinger) eingelesen
werden.
Administratorfinger
Erteilt die Berechtigung zum
Einlesen von max.. 5 Masterfingern.
(Nur 1 Administratorfinger einlesbar)
Gruppenadministratorfinger
Erteilt die Berechtigung zum Einlesen
von max. 5 Gruppenmasterfingern.
(Nur 1 Gruppenadministratorfinger
einlesbar)
Masterfinger
Erteilt die Berechtigung zum Einlesen
von max. 100 Benutzerfinger.
Gruppenmasterfinger
(max. 5 möglich)

• Benutzerfinger
Berechtigt zur Ansteuerung der
Funktion (z.B. Türöffner).
Nur Benutzerfinger können diese
Schaltfunktion auslösen.
Damit Sie auch zu einem späteren
Zeitpunkt noch den Überblick für die
Berechtigungen haben, sollten Sie
sich die Finger und die Personen in
der beiliegenden Fingertabelle
notieren.
Vor dem Ausfüllen bitte die Finger-
tabelle entsprechend kopieren.
4 Betriebsmodus
ii
Im FPM 611-... stehen drei verschie-
denen Betriebsmodi und der Lösch-
modus zu Verfügung.
• Gruppenadministratormodus
(Schalterstellung 5);
Ein Gruppenadministratorfinger, bis
zu 5 Gruppenmasterfinger und bis
zu 100 Benutzerfinger auf alle
Gruppen beliebig verteilt (max. 100
Benutzerfinger insgesamt).
• Administratormodus
(Schalterstellung 9);
Ein Administratorfinger, bis zu
5 Masterfinger und bis zu 100
Benutzerfinger sind einlesbar.
• Mastermodus (Schalterstellung 1)
Auslieferstand;
Ein Masterfinger und 100 Benutzer-
finger sind einlesbar.
• Löschmodus (andere Schalter-
stellung als 1, 5 oder 9);
Sämtliche Finger löschen.
Wird der Drehschalter verdreht,
werden alle eingelesenen Finger
gelöscht (siehe Löschmodus)

Wichtige Hinweise
!
• Einzelne Master- Gruppenmaster-
und Benutzerfinger können im stand
alone Betrieb nicht gelöscht
werden!
D.h. es kann immer nur die ganze
Gruppe gelöscht werden.
Sollen einzelne Finger selektiv
löschbar sein, muss das FPM 611-01
an einem EC 602-01 betrieben
werden. Zum Einlesen und Löschen
von Fingern ist das Programmier-
interface PRI 602-0, die Program-
miersoftware PRS 602-0 und ein IBM
kompatibler PC notwendig.
• Stellen Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme
des FPM 611-... den gewünschten
Betriebsmodus ein!
(siehe Betriebsmodus ändern)
• Wird der Drehschalter, zur
Einstellung des Betriebsmodus
verstellt, werden alle eingelesenen
Finger gelöscht (Auslieferzustand)!
•In Einzelfällen kann es vorkom-
men, dass ein Finger auf Grund
fehlender biometrischer Merkmale
nicht einlesbar ist.
Probieren Sie in diesem Fall einen
anderen Finger aus.
Das betrifft vorwiegend Kinder und
ältere Menschen, bei denen es auch
vorkommen kann, dass kein Finger
erkannt wird.
•Nur ein Masterfinger kann die
Berechtigung zum Einlesen von
Benutzerfingern freischalten.
• Der Gruppenmasterfinger erteilt
die Berechtigung zum Einlesen von
Benutzerfingern innerhalb seiner
Gruppe.
• Nur der Gruppenmasterfinger ist
berechtigt, die Benutzerfinger seiner
Gruppe, zu löschen.
• Nur der Gruppenadministrator-
finger kann alle Benutzerfinger aller
Gruppen löschen.
Die Gruppenmasterfinger bleiben
erhalten.
• Um Gruppenmaster-/Masterfinger
zu löschen, muss das FPM in den
Auslieferzustand zurück gesetzt
werden. (Siehe Löschmodus)
6 Den Finger richtig über den
Sensor ziehen
• Damit das Modul Ihren Finger
erkennen kann, müssen Sie ihn zum
Einlesen über den Sensor ziehen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass beim Ein-
lesen des Fingers die Geschwindig-
keit, die Lage und der leichte An-
pressdruck möglichst konstant sind.
• Der Einlesevorgang muss innerhalb
von 10 s nach Aktivierung begonnen
werden, da sonst das FPM 611-...
wieder in den Betriebszustand
schaltet.
• Unterbrechungen von mehr als
15 Sek. schalten automatisch in den
Betriebszustand. (Time out)

Mastermodus
Masterfinger einlesen
Das Fingerprint Modul befindet sich
im Auslieferzustand in der Betriebs-
art Mastermodus.
Voraussetzungen:
•Gerät ist initialisiert
•LED rot leuchtet (Auslieferzustand)
•Den Masterfinger über den Sensor
ziehen.
Die LED grün blinkt ca. 3 Sek.,
danach leuchtet die LED rot.
•Den Masterfinger erneut über
den Sensor ziehen.
Die LED grün blinkt ca. 3 Sek.,
danach leuchtet die LED rot.
•Den Masterfinger ein drittes
Mal über den Sensor ziehen.
Die LED grün blinkt ca. 3 Sek., da-
nach leuchtet die grüne LED ständig.
Der Masterfinger ist jetzt gültig
eingelesen. Es können nun Benutzer-
finger eingelesen werden.
Wurde ein Finger über den Sensor
gezogen und nicht erkannt, so blinkt
die rote LED 3 Sek. und leuchtet
danach ständig.
Einlesevorgang wiederholen.
Benutzerfinger einlesen
Voraussetzung:
•LED grün leuchtet
(Betriebszustand)
•Masterfinger 1 mal über den
Sensor ziehen.
Die LED grün blinkt ca. 3 Sek.,
danach leuchtet die LED rot.
•Den Benutzerfinger über den
Sensor ziehen.
Die LED grün blinkt ca. 3 Sek.,
danach leuchtet die LED rot.
•Den Benutzerfinger erneut über
den Sensor ziehen.
Die LED grün blinkt ca. 3 Sek.,
danach leuchtet die LED rot.
•Den Benutzerfinger ein drittes
Mal über den Sensor ziehen.
Die LED grün blinkt ca. 3 Sek.,
danach leuchtet die Grüne ständig.
Wurde ein Finger über den Sensor
gezogen und nicht erkannt, so blinkt
die rote LED 3 Sek. und leuchtet
danach ständig.
Einlesevorgang wiederholen.
Kontrolle:
•Benutzerfinger 1-mal über den
Sensor ziehen.
Die LED grün blinkt und das Relais
schaltet.
Betriebsmodus ändern
Um das FPM 611-... nach den
speziellen Anforderungen betreiben
zu können, muss vor der Inbetrieb-
nahme der entsprechende Betriebs-
modus eingestellt werden.
Die Einstellung des Betriebsmodus
erfolgt von der Rückseite des
Moduls:
7 Modulentnahme
Mit dem Vario-Schlüssel das Modul
entriegeln. (siehe auch Produktinfor-
mation Siedle-Vario)
8 Betriebsmodus einstellen
• Klappe auf der Rückseite des
Moduls mit Hilfe eines Schrauben-
drehers öffnen
• Gewünschten Betriebsmodus
(0 bis 9) am Drehschalter einstellen.
Nachdem der gewünschte Betriebs-
modus eingestellt wurde, die Klappe
schließen und Modul wieder ein-
bauen.
Einstellbare Betriebsmodi:
1 = Mastermodus
5= Gruppenadministratormodus
9 = Administratormodus
0, 2..4 und 6..8 = Löschmodus

finger.
•Den Gruppenadministratorfinger
über den Sensor ziehen.
Die LED grün blinkt ca. 3 Sek.,
danach leuchtet die LED rot.
•Den Gruppenadministratorfinger
erneut über den Sensor ziehen.
Die LED grün blinkt ca. 3 Sek.,
danach leuchtet die LED rot.
•Den Gruppenadministratorfinger
ein drittes Mal über den Sensor
ziehen.
Die LED grün blinkt ca. 3 Sek.,
danach leuchtet die LED grün
ständig.
Der Gruppenadministratorfinger ist
jetzt gültig eingelesen.
Es können nun Gruppenmasterfinger
eingelesen werden.
Wurde ein Finger über den Sensor

Moduls öffnen (siehe Bild 8
“Betriebsmodus einstellen”).
•Den Drehschalter in die Stellung
0, 2-4 oder 6-8 (Löschmodus)
drehen
Alle eingelesenen Finger sind
gelöscht.
Benutzerfinger löschen
!Einzelne Master- Gruppen
master- und Benutzerfinger können
nicht gelöscht werden!
Mit dem Administrator- Gruppen-
administrator- bzw. mit den Master-
Gruppenmasterfingern können die
Benutzerfinger gelöscht werden.
Der Gruppenmasterfinger kann nur
die Benutzerfinger seiner Gruppe
löschen.
Der Gruppenadministratorfinger
dagegen löscht alle Benutzerfinger
aller Gruppen.
Die Masterfinger und der Admini-
stratorfinger bleiben erhalten.
Zwischen den einzelnen Einlesevor-
gängen des Administrator- bzw. des
Masterfingers nicht mehr als 5 Sek.
verstreichen lassen, sonst bricht der
Löschvorgang ab.
Wenn die LED grün wieder leuchtet,
kann ggf. der Löschvorgang von
vorne begonnen werden.
Das Einlesen eines falschen Fingers
bricht den Löschvorgang ebenfalls
ab.
•Masterfinger/Administratorfinger
1-mal über den Sensor ziehen.
Die LED grün blinkt, bis die LED rot
ständig leuchtet (Einlesemodus).
•Masterfinger/Administratorfinger
ein zweites Mal über den Sensor
ziehen.
Die LED grün blinkt, bis LED grün
ständig leuchtet.

General
The fingerprint module FPM 611-01
in the Vario design is an access
control system used both in the
stand-alone mode as an
independent unit and in the Siedle
Vario Bus. In this system, a scanned
fingerprint is used to actuate a
function.
Remark relating to the
installation site
The module can be integrated in all
Vario housing models both outdoors
and indoors. When used outdoors,
we recommend keeping the module
in a weather-protected area.
Actuation of a function
(e.g. door release)
To actuate a function, for example a
door release, a potential-free contact
is available directly in the
FPM 611-... (make time 3 secs.)
Conductor material for
installation
In stand-alone operation, light
current conductors type YR 0.8 mm
core diameter can be used for the
installation.
Range
The range between the transformer
and FPM 611-... is limited to 130 m
with 0.8 mm core diameter.
Conductor routing
In order to comply with the general
safety regulations for
telecommunication systems as per
VDE 0100 and VDE 0800 and to
avoid disturbing influences, ensure
that heavy and light current
conductors are routed separately,
observing a distance of 10 cm.

The fingerprint module FPM 611-... in
the Vario design is an access control
system used in the “stand-alone
mode” or in the Siedle Vario bus. In
this system, a scanned fingerprint is
used to actuate a function (such as a
door release).
Depending on the operating mode,
up to max. 100 users (scannable
fingerprints) can be managed by the

Which types of fingerprints

4 Operating mode

In the FPM 611-... there are three
different operating modes and a
delete mode available.
• Group administrator mode (switch
position 5);
One group administrator fingerprint,
up to 5 group master fingerprints,
up to 100 user fingerprints
distributed at will over all the groups
(totalling no more than 100 user
fingerprints).
• Administrator mode
(switch position 9);
One administrator fingerprint. up to
5 master fingerprints and up to 100
user fingerprints can be scanned in.
• Master mode
(switch position 1)
As-delivered status;
One master fingerprint and 100 user
fingerprints can be scanned in.
• Delete mode (other switch position
than 1, 5 or 9);
Deleting all fingerprints. If the rotary
switch is turned, all scanned-in
fingerprints are deleted (see Delete
mode).

• In individual cases, it can happen
that a fingerprint cannot be scanned
due to absence of biometric
characteristics. In this case, try using
a different finger.
This applies primarily to children and
older people. In these cases it is
possible that a fingerprint is not
recognized.
•Only one master fingerprint can
enable the authorization to read in
user fingerprints.
• The group master fingerprint
issues entitlement for scanning in
user fingerprints within its respective
group.
• Only the group master fingerprint
is entitled to delete the user
fingerprints of its group.
• Only the group administrator
fingerprint is entitled to delete all
the user fingerprints of all groups.
The group master fingerprints are
retained.
• To delete group master/master
fingerprints, the FPM must be
returned to the as-delivered status.

6 Draw the finger correctly over
the sensor
• To ensure that the module is able
to reliably recognize your fingerprint,
draw it over the sensor to allow it to
be scanned in. Ensure that you
maintain as constant a speed,
position and light contact pressure
as possible.
• The read-in process must be
started within 10 secs following
activation, as otherwise the
FPM 611-... returns to the operating
status.
• Interruptions of more than
15 seconds automatically return the
system to the operating mode.

In order to operate the FPM 611-...
in accordance with special
requirements, before commissioning
you must have set the relevant
operating mode. The operating
mode is set from the back of the
module:

The master fingerprints and
administrator fingerprint are
retained. Between the individual
scan-in processes of the
administrator finger / master finger,
you have a maximum 5 second
window before the delete process is
interrupted. If the LED lights up
green again, it is possible to begin
the delete process again from the
beginning if required. Scanning in
the wrong fingerprint will also cause
the delete process to be interrupted.
•Draw the master fingerprint /
administrator fingerprint once over
the sensor. The green LED flashes
until the red LED lights up
continuously (scan-in mode).

courant faible YR d'un diamètre de
fil de 0,8 mm.
Portée
Entre le transformateur et le
FPM 611-..., la portée est limitée à
130 mm, dans le cas d'un diamètre
de fil de 0,8 mm.
Cheminement des lignes
Pour satisfaire aux dispositions
générales en matière de sécurité
concernant les installations de
télécommunication, selon VDE 0100
et VDE 0800, et pour éviter les
parasites, il faut veiller à faire
cheminer séparément les lignes à
courant fort et les lignes à courant
faible. Une distance de 10 cm doit
être respectée.

au-dessus du capteur
• Pour que le module puisse détecter
votre doigt, vous devez le passer au-
dessus du capteur en vue de sa
mémorisation. Veillez à ce que, lors
de la mémorisation du doigt, la
vitesse, la position et la légère
pression d'appui soient aussi
constantes que possibles.
• Le processus de mémorisation doit
commencer dans les 10 s après
l'activation, faute de quoi le
FPM 611-... repassera à l'état de
service.
• Des interruptions de plus de 15
sec. font automatiquement passer à
l'état de service. (Time out)

groupes. Le doigt maître de groupes
ne peut effacer que les doigts utili-
sateurs de son groupe. En revanche,
le doigt administrateur de groupes
efface tous les doigts utilisateurs de
tous les groupes. Les doigts maîtres
et le doigt administrateur demeu-
rent. Entre les différents processus
de mémorisation du doigt admi-
nistrateur ou du doigt maître, ne pas
laisser s'écouler plus de 5 sec., faute
de quoi le processus d'effacement
s'interrompra. Lorsque la DEL verte
s'allume de nouveau, le processus
d'effacement peut le cas échéant
être recommencé au début.
La mémorisation d'un mauvais doigt
interrompt également le processus
d'effacement.
•Passer le doigt maître/le doigt
administrateur 1 fois au-dessus du
capteur.

Il modulo Fingerprint FPM 611-...
nel design Vario è un sistema di

Funzionamento nel Vario-Bus
Nel funzionamento bus la lettura/
cancellazione delle impronte avviene
tramite l’interfaccia di programma-
zione PRI 602-0, il software di pro-
grammazione PRS 602-0 e un PC
IBM compatibile. L’azionamento e la
relativa procedura sono descritti nel
manuale di programmazione

Il modulo Fingerprint FPM 611-01
nel design Vario è un sistema di

Avvertenze relative al luogo di

Cavi per l’installazione
Per l’installazione, nel
funzionamento stand-alone possono
essere utilizzati cavi a corrente
debole YR con diametro dei fili da
0,8 mm.
Raggio d’azione
Il raggio d’azione fra il trasformatore
e il FPM 611-... è limitato a 130 m in
caso di diametro dei fili da 0,8 mm.
Posa dei cavi
Per rispettare le disposizioni generali
sulla sicurezza per impianti di
telesegnalazione secondo le norme
VDE 0100 e VDE 0800 e per evitare
eventuali fattori di disturbo, occorre
prevedere una posa separata dei cavi
a corrente debole e a corrente forte,
rispettando una distanza di 10 cm.

Avvertenze importanti
!
•Non è possibile cancellare
singole impronte “master”,
“master di gruppo” e utente nel
funzionamento stand-alone!
Ciò significa che si può cancellare
sempre solo l’intero gruppo.
Se occorre cancellare singole
impronte in modo selettivo,
l’FPM 611-01 deve essere azionato
con un EC 602-01. Per la lettura e
cancellazione di impronte sono
necessari l’interfaccia di program-
mazione PRI 602-0, il software di
programmazione PRS 602-0 e un
PC IBM compatibile.
• Prima di mettere in funzione
l’FPM 611-... impostare il modo
operativo desiderato!
(vedere “Modifica del modo
operativo”)
•Ruotando il selettore per impostare
il modo operativo, tutte le impronte
lette vengono cancellate (stato di
fornitura)!
•In singoli casi può accadere che
un’impronta non sia leggibile per
mancanza di caratteristiche bio-
metriche. In questo caso provare
un’altra impronta.
Episodi di questo tipo riguardano
soprattutto bambini e anziani, per i
quali può anche accadere che non
venga riconosciuta alcuna impronta.
•Soltanto un’impronta “master”
può attivare l’abilitazione alla lettura
di impronte utente.
• L’impronta “master di gruppo”
conferisce l’abilitazione alla lettura di
impronte utente all’interno del
proprio gruppo.
• Soltatanto l’impronta “master di
gruppo” è abilitata a cancellare le
impronte utente del proprio gruppo.
• Soltanto l’impronta “administrator
di gruppo” può cancellare tutte le
impronte utente di tutti i gruppi.
Le impronte “master di gruppo”
rimangono inalterate.
• Per cancellare impronte
“master”/”master di gruppo”,
occorre resettare l’FPM nello stato di
fornitura (vedere “Modo
cancellazione”).
6 Passaggio corretto del dito sul
sensore
• Affinché il modulo riconosca
un’impronta, è necessario passare il
dito sopra il sensore per far leggere
l’impronta. Durante questa
operazione occorre fare attenzione
che la velocità, la posizione e la
pressione leggera del dito siano
costanti.
Ogni impronta “master di
!gruppo” è abilitata solo per il
rispettivo gruppo.
• Impronta utente
Abilita il comando della funzione (ad
es. l’apriporta).
Soltanto le impronte utente possono
attivare questa funzione.
Per disporre anche in un secondo
momento di una panoramica com-
pleta delle abilitazioni, è opportuno
annotare le impronte e le rispettive
persone nella tabella delle impronte
allegata.
Prima di procedere alla compila-
zione, si prega di copiare la tabella.
4 modi operativi

Nel FPM 611-... sono disponibili tre
diversi modi operativi e un modo
cancellazione.
• Modo “administrator di gruppo”
(posizione selettore 5); Un’impronta
“administrator di gruppo”, fino a 5
impronte “master di gruppo” e fino
a 100 impronte a scelta su tutti i
gruppi (in totale max. 100 impronte
utente).
• Modo “administrator”
(posizione selettore 9); Sono leggibili
un’impronta “administrator”, fino a
5 impronte “master” e fino a 100
impronte utente.
• Modo “master” (posizione
selettore 1) nello stato di fornitura;
Sono leggibili un’impronta “master”
e fino a 100 impronte utente.
• Modo cancellazione (posizione
selettore diversa da 1, 5 o 9);
Cancella tutte le impronte.
Ruotando il selettore, vengono
cancellate tutte le impronte lette
(vedere “Modo cancellazione”).

dall’attivazione, poiché in caso
contrario l’FPM 611-... si commuta
nuovamente nello stato operativo.
• Interruzioni superiori a 15 secondi
inducono automaticamente una
commutazione nello stato operativo
(time out).
