REBOUND®POSTOP KNEE
Patient Guide

Fitting Instructions
1. To start, first sit down with
your knee straight as you have
been advised to. Place the
brace under your leg with the
hinges on the side of your knee
so they point straight ahead.
The hinge should be in line
with the center of your knee.
2. Fasten the AMS wrap just below
the knee. The wrap needs to
be fastened snugly as this will
aid in brace suspension.
3. To help hold the brace in
place, fasten the blue lever
buckle over the AMS wrap.
4. Fasten the strap above the
knee by securing the buckle.
5. Continue with fasten
the bottom strap.
6. Last, fasten the upper strap.
7. If you have been advised to
lock the brace at any point,
this is done by pushing
down the blue button in line
with the correct number.
Rebound®
Post-Op Knee
The Rebound®Post-Op Knee
has been customised
especially for you. It is
important that the brace is
fitted correctly to ensure
adequate support of your knee
and also optimal comfort. The
brace has been set up to limit
the motion of your knee.
Removing the Rebound®Post-Op Knee
When removing the brace, undo each buckle followed by the anti-migration
strap.

Washing Instructions
The Rebound®Post-Op Knee
brace is designed for minimum
maintenance and care. The straps
and pads may be removed for
cleaning.
• Hand wash in luke warm
water (30°) using mild
detergent soap
• Do not use bleach or
fabric softeners
• Do not machine wash
• Do not tumble dry
• Rinse thoroughly
• Air dry
If brace is used in salt water or
chlorinated water, rinse well and
air dry.
Hinge Maintenance
• Do NOT adjust the motion
settings yourself
• Check regularly for
foreign materials in hinge
(i.e. dirt or grass)
• Carefully clean dirt from hinge
using water or compressed air
