Round Metal Base Installation
Determine if you want the mousehole
in the up or down position, then
assemble base as shown.

Carefully turn top over onto carpet
or other soft, clean material.
Locate and install base assembly.

NOTE: If using a rectangular or square top,
make sure base is mounted in a diagonal
orientation (see above) to top.
The drawing below shows the incorrect
positioning of the base with top.
(3) screws per leg
Locate base with
(1) pilot hole per leg.

Using holes in mounting bracket
as guide, pilot drill (12) holes 1/8"
(3.1mm) dia. and 1/2" (12.7mm)
deep.
Install (12) screws.
Repeat procedure for
other base assembly.
Install support bracket with
(5) 7/8" screws as shown.
Align dowels with holes
in top panel.

Install splines into groove
in one end of top section.
(3)
Slide top halves together.
Install (4) joint fasteners.
Tighten joint fasteners
with punch or similar tool
as shown.
Refer to preceding page to
install base assemblies.
