Before using your new Phone Set, please read this
instruction manual to prevent any damage. Put it away in a
safe place for future references.
IMPORTANT
Before using your new Phone Set, assure to install 3 type AA
batteries, otherwise Ocean Blue Light will not light on.
Phone must be placed in a cool dry and ventilated place.
Caller ID function only works if you have subscribed for the
service with your local telecom company.
Do not connect into the Line 2 connector if you only have 1
phone line.
Do not expose LCD screen to sunlight.
Clean only with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents.

INITIAL SETTINGS
Before using your new Phone Set, follow these steps for a
correct use of the equipment:
1.- With the handset in the base, press Set / Del (11) for around
a second. Year will be blink on LCD screen.
2.- Use Up / Down (10) to set the current year. Press Set / Del
(11) to store the changes. Then, month will be blink.
3.- Repeat step 2 to enter month, day, hours and minutes data.
4.- Once you have entered these data, enter your area code, for
example if you live in Mexico City, enter number 55 , if you live in
Guadalajara City enter number 33.
5.- Now, the message Par Off appears on LCD screen. If you
have connected a parallel phone set and you don’t want any
outgoing calls from it, choose ON. Otherwise choose OFF. Press
Up / Down (10) to see the options.
6.- Press Set / Del (11) to store the changes.
MAKING A CALL
Using handset
1.- Pick the handset up and press the desired Line to use (Line 1
or Line 2) (3).
2.- After hearing dial tone, enter the desired number to call.
3.- After finishing the conversation, place the handset on the
base.

Using speaker
1.- Press Line 1 or Line 2 or press speaker key (16). The
message USE appears on LCD screen.
2.- After hearing dial tone, enter the desired number to call.
3.- After finishing the conversation, press selected Line key or
press speaker key (16).
If you don’t press any Line key to use, you will get the last
attended line on which you had the last conversation.
REDIAL AND PRE-DIAL
RE-DIAL
Pick the handset up and after hearing dial tone, press Rd / Out
(15). Last dialed number appears on LCD screen, automatically
dialing.
PRE-DIAL
1.- With the handset on the base, enter the desired number to
call.
2.- Pick the handset up, after 2 seconds, will be start to auto dial.
3.- After finishing the conversation, place the handset on the
base.
If during dialing, you made a mistake, you can correct it
pressing Set / Del (11).
MEMORIES
Your phone has 3 quick dial buttons: M1, M2 and M3.
To store a number
1.- With the handset on the base, press the desired memory
button (M1, M2, M3) (6) for 3 seconds. The message ddrn
appears on LCD screen.
2.- Enter desired number to store and press the selected
memory button (6) once again. The number will be stored on that
position.

To dial a number stored in memory
1.- Press Line 1 or Line 2 or press speaker key (16) or pick the
handset up.
2.- When hearing dial tone, press the memory button where you
stored the desired number to dial. Automatically dialing.
ANSWERING INCOMING CALLS
When you receive an incoming call, phone start to ring. If you
have caller ID service, then you receive the incoming number,
too.
Using handset:
1.- When the phone rings, pick the handset up and begin the
conversation.
2.- When finishing the conversation, place the handset on the
base.
Using speaker:
1.- When the phone rings, press speaker key (16) and begin the
conversation.
2.- When finishing the conversation, press speaker key (16) once
again.
To receive the caller ID data correctly, please answer the
phone after thrice rings.
There should be a 6 seconds gap (minimal) between two
calls. Otherwise you cannot receive the caller ID data
correctly.
RINGTONE
Your phone set has up to 16 different types of ring tones, to
choose one of them, follow these steps:
1.- Press Line 1 (3) button.
2.- Press Ring (18). A ring tone starts to sound. Use Up / Down
(10) to move over the ring tone list.
3.- Press Ring (18) to confirm the selection.
You can set a different ring tone for Line 2. Follow preview
steps.

CONFERENCE
Assure you have subscribed for tri-way conference call with your
local telecom company.
If you make a call:
1.- Dial a number using Line 1 (3).
2.- During conversation, press Hold /DND (13). The conversation
on Line 1 enters to Hold Mode.
3.- Press Line 2 (3) and dial another number.
4.- Press Conf (2) to talk simultaneously with other two people.
5.- If you want to finish the call on Line 1, press Line 1 button (3),
if you want to finish the call on Line 2, press Line 2 button (3). If
you want to end both calls, place the handset on the base. Or
press speaker key (16).
You can use both phone lines to start a conference.
If you receive a call:
1.- When you are a conversation through Line 1 and incoming
a call through Line 2, the phone set warns you about it with a
sound and the caller ID data appears on LCD screen.
2.- Press Hold / DND (13). Answer the second call.
3.- Press Conf (2) to start the conference.
4.- If you wish to end one of the calls, press the corresponding
Line button, or place the handset on the base to end both.
If both lines are ringing at the same time, you can press
Conf (2) to answer both calls.
MUSIC ON HOLD
If you need to do something during a conversation, and you don’t
want to cut the current call, press Hold / DND (18) and place the
handset on the base. Making this you don’t cut the call and the
other person will hear a background music. When you need to
resume the call, just pick the handset up or press speaker key
(16).

SETTING MUSIC ON HOLD
Your phone set has up to 16 different types of music on hold, to
choose one of them, follow these steps:
1.- Press Line 1 (3)
2.- Press Hold / DND (18). You can hear one of the types of
music. Use Up / Down (10) to move over the music list.
3.- Press Hold / DND (18) to confirm the changes.
You can set a different type of music for Line 2, follow
preview steps.
PRIVACY FUNCTION (DND)
Your phone set has a privacy function (DND), allowing you
receive incoming calls, keeping on caller ID memory, but no rings
can hear it. You can program it from 1 to 23 hours.
1.- Press Hold / DND (18) for 3 seconds. The message Sleep
00-00 appears on LCD screen.
2.- Press Up / Down (10) to set desired time. To confirm the
changes press Hold / DND (11) once.
If you want to deactivate the DND function repeat step 1
and step 2 and set the time on 00-00.
REVIEWING OUTGOING CALLS
1.- Press Rd / Out (15). Dialed numbers appears on LCD screen.
2- Press Rd / Out (15) once again, to visualize all dialed num-
bers stored on memory.
3.- If you reached the end of the list or there are not any stored
dialed number, the message End appears on LCD screen.
Erasing dialed numbers:
1.- Press Rd / Out (15). Dialed numbers appears on LCD screen.
2- Press Rd / Out (15) until you visualize the desired dialed
number that you want to erase.
3.- Press Set / Del (11), the message ERASED appears on LCD
screen.
If you press Set / Del (11) for more than 3 seconds, all dialed
number stored in memory will be erased.

FORWARD CALL FROM DIALED NUMBERS
1.- Press Rd / Out (15). On screen appears last dialed number
and the conversation time.
2.- Press Rd / Out (15) until you visualize the number that you
want to forward call.
3.- Press Back (8) and automatically redial.
PAUSE
We recommend you press Pause (7) when enter a long distance
area code or when you dial an extension number. This function
enters a 2.2 seconds delay.
LOCK
If you want to block the outgoing calls, use the mechanical lock
located on the back of the phone set.
1.- Use the key (included) to turn the lock (20), to the green
point. You cannot dial any telephone number that begins with
digit “0” (long distance calls). LINE LOC appears on LCD screen.
2,. If you want to block all outgoing calls, turn the lock to the
yellow point.
3.- If you don’t want to lock any call, turn the lock to the red point.
CALLER ID
INCOMING CALLS
To review incoming calls, press Up / Down (10). Incoming
numbers, date and time appears on LCD screen. To visualize
more telephone numbers, press Up / Down (10).
When you reach the end of the list or when there are no more
stored telephone numbers in memory, the message End appears
on screen.
The phone set can store up to 70 telephone numbers on
memory. When there are repeated numbers, the message
REP appears on LCD screen.
When incoming a private telephone number call, the
message P appears on LCD screen.

If the incoming call is from another country or an area
without caller ID service, the message 0 appears on screen.
Insert 3 batteries type AAA to obtain ID caller information.
ERASING TELEPHONE NUMBERS STORED IN
MEMORY
1.- Press Up / Down (10) to visualize and find the number that
you want to delete.
2.- Press Set / Del (11), the message ERASED appears on
screen.
3.- If you want to delete all numbers, press Set / Del (11) for
around 3 seconds. The message ALL ERASED appears on
screen.

Antes de utilizar su nuevo Teléfono Alámbrico con dos
líneas lea este instructivo para evitar cualquier mal
funcionamiento. Guárdelo para futuras referencias.
IMPORTANTE
Antes de comenzar a utilizar su nuevo teléfono asegúrese de
instalar 3 baterías tipo AA, de otra forma la pantalla azul no se
encenderá.
El equipo se debe colocar en un lugar ventilado y seco.
El identificador de llamadas sólo funciona si Usted tiene
contratado el servicio con su compañía de telefonía local.
No utilice el conector de Línea 2 (Line 2) si únicamente cuenta
con una línea telefónica.
No exponga la pantalla de LCD directamente a la luz del sol.
Limpie con un paño seco. No utilice solventes.

AJUSTES PRELIMINARES
Antes de comenzar a utilizar su teléfono de 2 líneas, siga estas
instrucciones para un correcto funcionamiento de su equipo:
1.- Sin descolgar el auricular, presione la tecla de Ajustar /
Borrar (Set / Del) (11) por un segundo. El año comenzará a
parpadear en la pantalla de LCD.
2.- Utilice las teclas de arriba / abajo (Up/ Down) (10) para
cambiar el año. Presione la tecla Ajustar / Borrar (Set/Del) (11)
para ingresar el cambio. El mes comenzará a parpadear.
3.- Repita el paso 2 para ingresar el mes, el día, la hora y los
minutos.
4.- Una vez que ingresó estos datos, se le pedirá introducir el
código de área de la ciudad o del estado donde Ud. se
encuentra, por ejemplo, si se encuentra en la Ciudad de México,
introduzca el número 55, si se encuentra en la ciudad de
Guadalajara introduzca el número 33.
5.- Cuando haya finalizado de introducir estos datos, se
mostrará en pantalla el mensaje Par OFF. Seleccione
Encendido (ON) si tiene conectado otro equipo telefónico a la
misma línea y no desea que el otro equipo pueda realizar
llamadas, en caso contrario seleccione Apagado (OFF). Utilice
la tecla Arriba / Abajo (Up / Down) (10) para hacer el cambio.
6.- Presione la tecla de Ajustar / Borrar (Set / Del) (11) para
ingresar los cambios.

COMO REALIZAR UNA LLAMADA
Usando el auricular
1.- Descuelgue el auricular y seleccione la línea que va a utilizar
(Línea 1 o Línea 2) (3).
2.- Después de escuchar el tono de marcado, marque el número
al que desea llamar.
3.- Una vez que haya terminado su conversación, coloque el
auricular en la base del teléfono.
Usando el altavoz
1.- Presione el botón de la línea que desee utilizar (Línea 1 o
Línea 2) (3) ó presione el botón de altavoz (16). En la pantalla
de LCD se mostrará el mensaje USE.
2.- Después de escuchar el tono de marcado, marque el número
al que desee llamar.
3.- Una vez que haya terminado su conversación, presione el
botón de la línea que se ocupó o presione el botón de altavoz
(16).
Si no selecciona la línea que se desea utilizar, entonces se
usará la línea ocupada en la última llamada.
REMARCADO (REDIAL) Y PREMARCADO
REMARCADO
Levante el auricular y después de escuchar el tono de
marcado, presione la tecla de Remarcado (RD/OUT) (15). El
último número marcado aparecerá en pantalla y comenzará a
llamar.
PREMARCADO
1.- Sin descolgar el auricular, digite el número al que desea
llamar.
2.- Descuelgue el auricular, después de 2 segundos, comenzará
el auto marcado.
3.- Después de terminada su conversación, coloque el auricular
en la base del teléfono.

Si durante la marcación cometió algún error, puede
corregirlo presionando la tecla Ajustar / Borrar (Set / Del)
(11).
MEMORIAS
Su teléfono cuenta con 3 teclas de marcado rápidos: M1, M2 y
M3.
Para guardar un número en memoria:
1.- Sin descolgar el auricular, presione el botón de memoria (M1,
M2 o M3) (6) por 3 segundos. El mensaje ddrn aparece en
pantalla.
2.- Ingrese el número que desee guardar y presione el botón
de memoria (M1, M2 o M3) (6) una vez más. Su número será
guardado en esa posición.
Para marcar un número guardado en memoria:
1.- Presione el botón de la línea que desee utilizar (Línea 1 o
Línea 2) (3) ó presione el botón de altavoz (16) o descuelgue el
auricular.
2.- Cuando escuche el tono de marcado, presione el botón de
la memoria (6) donde guardó ese número, éste se marcará
automáticamente.
CÓMO CONTESTAR UNA LLAMADA
Cuando entre una llamada, el teléfono comenzará a sonar. Si
cuenta con el servicio de Identificador de Llamadas, aparecerá
el número de la persona que está llamando.
Si usa el auricular:
1.- Cuando el teléfono comience a timbrar, levante el auricular y
comience a hablar.
2.- Cuando termine la conversación, coloque el auricular en la
base del teléfono.
Si usa el altavoz:
1-. Cuando el teléfono comience a timbrar, presione el botón de
altavoz (16) y comience a hablar.
2.- Cuando termine la conversación, presione el botón de al-
tavoz (16) una vez más.

Para recibir correctamente la información del identificador
de llamadas, conteste el teléfono después de que haya
timbrado 3 veces.
Si recibe una llamada antes de 6 segundos de haber
finalizado la llamada anterior podría no recibirse la
información del identificador de llamadas.
TIMBRE
Su teléfono cuenta con 16 diferentes tipos de timbre, para
seleccionar uno de ellos, siga estos pasos:
1.- Presione el botón de Línea 1 (Line 1) (3).
2.- Presione el botón de timbre (Ring) (18). Comenzará a
escuchar un tipo de timbre. Utilice las teclas de arriba / abajo
(Up / Down) (10) para desplazarse en la lista de timbres.
3.- Presione el botón de Timbre (Ring) (18) para confirmar el
timbre seleccionado.
Puede configurar un tipo de timbre diferente para la Línea 2,
sólo repita los anteriores pasos.
CONFERENCIA
Asegúrese de tener contratado el servicio de conferencia
tripartita con su compañía de telefonía local.
Si hace una llamada:
1.- Realice la llamada por la Línea 1 (Line 1) (3).
2.- Durante la conversación presione la tecla de Retención (Hold
/ DND) (13). La conversación de la Línea 1 pasará al modo de
espera .
3.- Presione el botón de Línea 2 (Line 2) (3) y realice una
segunda llamada.
4.- Presione el botón de Conferencia (Conf) (2) para comenzar
una conversación tripartita.
5.- Si desea terminar la llamada de la línea 1 presione el botón
de Línea 1 (Line 1) (3), si desea terminar la llamada de la línea
2, presione el botón de Línea 2 (3); si desea terminar ambas
llamadas coloque el auricular en la base del teléfono o presione
el botón de altavoz (16).
Puede comenzar el proceso de conferencia utilizando la
Línea 2 y posteriormente la Línea 1.
