Remove top dash cover by removing
the 4 clips with a at blade screwdriver.
From inside the vehicle, place shift lever in low-
est gear and then pull dash cover towards you
to release.
Two modicatrions need to be made to the factory center dash bezel to allow an aftermarket radio to be
installed. The back portion of the top pocket will need to be removed and a notch will need to be cut into the
top of the pocket.
Remove the (2) Torx T25 screws from the
bottom of the center dash bezel. Unplug all
electrical connections and remove.

There are “ribs” on all four sides of the
pocket. Using the ribs closest to the bezel as
a guide, mark a cut line as shown below in
RED.
Following the cut line, cut around the
pocket with your favorite cutting tool and
remove back portion of the pocket.

Centered on the top edge of the bezel, mark a 3” rectangle that is 1/2”from the bend line.
Cut out notch, cutting through both the top edge of the bezel and the top of the pocket.
Using (2) #8 x 3/8” screws, attach the Top Cover
to the Main Frame. Insert the complete assembly
into the front of pocket.
Using the (4) Locking Hooks and #8 x 1 1/4”
screws, attach the Main Frame assembly to
the factory dash bezel.

Mount the radio to SPXRNGDASH using the har-
ware supplied from the radio manufaturer.
After making all neccessary wire connections,
reinstall the center dash assembly into the vehi-
cle.
LIMITED WARRANTY:
Stinger warrants this product to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for
a period of one (1) years from the original date of purchase. This warranty is not
transferable and applies only to the original purchaser from an authorized Stinger
dealer in the United States of America only. Should service be necessary under this
warranty for any reason due to manufacturing defect or malfunction, Stinger will (at
its discretion), repair or replace the defective product with new or remanufactured
product at no charge. Damage caused by the following is not covered under
warranty: accident, misuse, abuse, product modication or neglect, failure to follow
installation instructions, unauthorized repair attempts, misrepresentations by the
seller. This warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages and does
not cover the cost of removing or reinstalling the unit(s). Cosmetic damage due to
accident or normal wear and tear is not covered under warranty.
INTERNATIONAL WARRANTIES:
Products purchased outside the United States of America are covered only by that
country’s Authorized Stinger reseller and not by Stinger. Consumers needing service
or warranty information for these products must contact that country’s reseller for
information.
