5-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Sunbeam Products, Inc. (“Sunbeam”) or if in Canada, Newell Brands Canada ULC (“NBC”)
warrants that for a period of five years from the date of purchase, this product will be free from
defects in material and workmanship. Sunbeam (or NBC), at its option, will repair or replace
this product or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty period.
Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured product or component. If the product
is no longer available, replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater
value. This is your exclusive warranty. Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or
mechanical functions on this product. Doing so will void this warranty.
This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase
and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain
warranty performance. Sunbeam (or NBC) dealers, service centers, or retail stores selling
Sunbeam (or NBC) products do not have the right to alter, modify or any way change the terms
and conditions of this warranty.
This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the
following: negligent use or misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use
contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly, repair or alteration by anyone other than
Sunbeam (or NBC) or an authorized Sunbeam (or NBC) service center. Further, the warranty
does not cover: Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes and tornadoes.
What are the limits on Sunbeam’s (or NBC’s) Liability?
Sunbeam (or NBC) shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by
the breach of any express, implied or statutory warranty or condition.
Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty or condition of
merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited in duration to the duration of the
above warranty.
Sunbeam (or NBC) disclaims all other warranties, conditions or representations, express,
implied, statutory or otherwise.
Sunbeam (or NBC) shall not be liable for any damages of any kind resulting from the purchase,
use or misuse of, or inability to use the product including incidental, special, consequential or
similar damages or loss of profits, or for any breach of contract, fundamental or otherwise, or

HOW TO USE YOUR HEATING PAD
Make sure Control Connector is securely connected to
the Pad Connector (Fig. 1). Push both parts together
for a tight fit. NOTE: The connectors are keyed to only
fit one way; align arrow.
1. Plug into 120V AC electrical outlet.
2. To turn pad on, press Push-Button. Your
heating pad will NOT turn on until you press the
Push-Button. NOTE: If the heat level indicators
do not light up or stay on, the plug or Control
Connector may not be firmly and completely
connected. Unplug from wall outlet, check the
pad connection again and re-plug into outlet.
3. Allow pad to preheat for several minutes.
NOTE: Your heating pad has been designed to meet the maximum heat output
according to UL Standards.
4. Select from 4 heat settings by pressing Push-Button successively to achieve
desired heat level. To turn the pad OFF, you must scroll through the
remaining heat settings by pressing the Push-Button sequentially.
5. Do not sit on or against or crush pad – avoid folding during use.
6. DO NOT USE WHILE SLEEPING.

AUTO-OFF FEATURE
Your heating pad controller includes an Auto-Off feature. This feature is designed
to conserve energy by automatically turning off after 2 hours of continuous use.
NOTE: After a power outage, the Auto-Off feature automatically resets the timer.
USING MOIST HEAT THERAPY
In some cases, you may find that moist heat therapy provides more
comfort and relief. When using moist heat therapy, you should
protect furniture and clothing from becoming damp.
1. Dampen one side of the contoured pad with water by patting
the surface with a wet sponge or cloth or use a spray bottle to
apply a fine mist. Do not thoroughly soak pad.
2. Do not spray or dampen the pad connector. (Fig. 2).
DANGER: Do not immerse the pad or pad connector in water
or place under running water. Failure to comply may result in
product failure and/or personal injury.
NOTE: The electrical pad connector must be thoroughly dry before
establishing electrical connection.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION: DO NOT DRY CLEAN. DO NOT USE BLEACH. DO NOT USE WRINGER.
1. Disconnect pad from outlet.
2. Detach Pad Connector from Control Connector.
3. Machine wash pad in cold water on gentle cycle, or hand wash. Tumble dry on
low heat or line dry.
4. Do not plug in pad until pad connector is completely dry.
North American models with polarized plugs:
POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug,
(one blade is wider than the other).
As a safety feature to reduce the
risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit
in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not
attempt to defeat this safety feature or modify the
plug in any way. If the plug fits loosely into the AC
outlet or if the AC outlet feels warm do not use that
outlet.

MODE D’EMPLOI DU COUSSIN CHAUFFANT
S’assurer que le connecteur de la commande soit
solidement relié au connecteur du coussin (fig. 1).
Assembler les deux pièces de façon à obtenir une
connexion serrée. REMARQUE: Faire concorder les
flèches, un seul assemblage est possible.
1. Brancher le coussin sur prise de courant alternatif
de 120 volts.
2. Appuyer sur le bouton-poussoir pour l’allumer. Le
coussin ne s’allumera QU’APRÈS la pression sur
le bouton-poussoir. REMARQUE: Si les indicateurs
de niveau de chaleur ne luisent pas ou ne restent
pas allumés, la connexion commande et coussin
n’est sans doute pas aussi bonne que préconisé.
Débrancher le coussin, vérifier la connexion puis le
rebrancher.
3. Faire préchauffer le coussin plusieurs minutes.
REMARQUE: Le coussin chauffant est étudié pour se conformer au niveau de
chaleur maximal qu’autorisent les normes UL.
4. Choisir l’un des 4 niveaux en pressant le bouton-poussoir coup sur coup pour
l’atteindre. Pour ÉTEINDRE le coussin, faire défiler le reste des niveaux de
chaleur en séquence, en appuyant sur le bouton-poussoir.
5. Ne pas s’asseoir sur ou contre le coussin ou l’écraser – éviter de le plier
lorsqu’il sert.
6. NE PAS UTILISER LE COUSSIN DURANT LE SOMMEIL.

FONCTION D’ARRÊT AUTOMATIQUE
La commande comprend la fonction d’arrêt automatique – pour économiser
l’énergie, celle-ci éteint automatiquement le coussin après 2 heures d’emploi
continu.
REMARQUE: Après une panne de courant, cette fonction d’arrêt réinitialise
automatiquement la minuterie.
THERMOTHÉRAPIE HUMIDE
Dans certains cas, la thermothérapie humide peut rehausser le
confort et le soulagement. Lors de la thermothérapie humide, il
est judicieux de protéger les meubles et les vêtements pour ne
pas les mouiller.
1. Humecter une face du coussin profilé en tapotant la
surface avec une éponge (ou autre) imbibée d’eau ou bien
en l’imprégnant d’une fine vapeur d’eau avec un flacon
pulvérisateur. Ne pas détremper la face du coussin.
2. Ne pas vaporiser ou mouiller le connecteur du coussin (fig. 2).
DANGER: Ne pas immerger le coussin ou son connecteur dans l’eau, ou les
placer sous l’eau courante, sous peine de provoquer la défaillance du produit et/
ou des blessures corporelles.
REMARQUE: Le connecteur du coussin doit être absolument sec avant d’effectuer
la liaison électrique.

• Absence de chaleur
• Absence de courant • Vérifier que le cordon, la commande et le coussin ne sont pas abîmés.
• Vérifier que la connexion coussin-commande est
étroite.
• Vérifier que la prise c.a. est fonctionnelle.
• Rebrancher l’appareil sur prise c.a.
• Si l’anomalie persiste, cesser l’emploi. Voir la
garantie et communiquer avec le service à la
clientèle.
• Arrêt intempestif de
la commande • Arrêt automatique réglé pour éteindre l’appareil une fois le délai choisi écoulé.
• Redémarrer l’appareil en appuyant sur Marche.
• Vérifier que la connexion coussin-commande est
étroite.
• Point chaud • S’assurer que le coussin n’est ni plié ni bouchonné.
• Le voyant de

Agir comme suit dans ces circonstances :
• Débrancher l’appareil ;

FICHE POLARISÉE
Cet appareil est équipé d’une fiche
polarisée (une branche est plus large
que l’autre). Par mesure de sécurité
et pour réduire le risque de choc électrique, la fiche
ne s’enfonce dans les prises polarisées que dans
un sens. Si elle ne pénètre pas bien dans la prise,
retournez-la. Si elle ne rentre toujours pas à fond,
ayez recours aux services d’un électricien agréé.
N’essayez pas de modifier la fiche et ne neutralisez
cette caractéristique de sécurité en aucune façon. Si
l’assujettissement dans la prise de courant alternatif
n’est pas serré ou bien si la prise semble chaude au
toucher, ne vous servez pas de cette prise.
