3. Zu Ihrer Sicherheit
• Das Produkt ist ausschließlich für den oben beschriebenen Ein-
satzbereich geeignet.
• Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht anders, als in dieser Bedie-
nungsanleitung dargestellt wird.
WARNUNG
• Halten Sie die Geräte und die Batterien außerhalb der Reichwei-
te von Kindern.
• Kleinteile können von Kindern (unter drei Jahren) verschluckt
werden.
• Batterien enthalten gesundheitsschädliche Säuren und können
bei Verschlucken lebensgefährlich sein. Wurde eine Batterie
verschluckt, kann dies innerhalb von 2 Stunden zu schweren
inneren Verätzungen und zum Tode führen. Wenn Sie vermuten,
eine Batterie könnte verschluckt oder anderweitig in den Körper
gelangt sein, nehmen Sie sofort medizinische Hilfe in Anspruch.
• Batterien nicht ins Feuer werfen, kurzschließen, auseinander-
nehmen oder aufladen. Explosionsgefahr!
• Um ein Auslaufen der Batterien zu vermeiden, sollten schwache
Batterien möglichst schnell ausgetauscht werden. Achten Sie
auf die richtige Polarität beim Einlegen der Batterien.

Funk–Thermometer 
• Verwenden Sie nie gleichzeitig alte und neue Batterien oder Bat-
terien unterschiedlichen Typs. Entfernen Sie die Batterien, wenn
Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht verwenden. Sollte eine Batterie
ausgelaufen sein, vermeiden Sie Kontakt mit Haut, Augen und
Schleimhäuten. Spülen Sie ggf. umgehend die betroffenen Stel-
len mit Wasser und suchen Sie einen Arzt auf.
ACHTUNG
• Das eigenmächtige Reparieren, Umbauen oder Verändern des
Gerätes ist nicht gestattet.
• Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen extremen Temperaturen, Vibratio-
nen und Erschütterungen aus.
• Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen, leicht feuchten Tuch.
Keine Scheuer- oder Lösungsmittel verwenden!
• Die Basisstation ist nur für den Betrieb in Innenräumen geeig-
net. Vor Feuchtigkeit schützen!
• Der Sender ist spritzwassergeschützt, aber nicht wasserdicht
(siehe „Standortwahl und Montage”).

5. Inbetriebnahme
5.1 Einlegen der Batterien
• Legen Sie die Basisstation und den Außensender in einem
Abstand von ca. 1,5 Metern voneinander auf einen Tisch. Ver-
meiden Sie die Nähe zu möglichen Störquellen (elektronische
Geräte und Funkanlagen).
• Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach des Außensenders und legen Sie
zwei neue Batterien 1,5 V AA polrichtig ein. Alle LCD-Segmente
werden kurz angezeigt.
• Die Temperatur erscheint auf dem Display. Der Schiebeschalter
ist auf Kanal 1 eingestellt.
• Schließen Sie das Batteriefach wieder.
• Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach der Basisstation.

• Legen Sie zwei neue Batterien 1,5 V AA polrichtig ein. Alle Seg-
mente werden kurz angezeigt. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit und die Tem-
peratur erscheinen auf dem Display sowie ein Smiley zur Anzei-
ge der Komfortstufe.
• Schließen Sie das Batteriefach wieder.
5.2 Empfang des Außensenders
• Die Basisstation versucht nun, die Außentemperatur zu empfan-
gen und das Empfangssymbol blinkt.
• Bei erfolgreichem Empfang werden die Außentemperatur und
das Empfangssymbol ständig auf dem Display der Basisstation
angezeigt.
• Wird die Außentemperatur nicht empfangen, bleibt „- -. -” auf
dem Display der Basisstation stehen. Prüfen Sie die Batterien
und starten Sie einen weiteren Versuch.
• Sie können die Sendersuche zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt auch
manuell starten (z.B. bei Verlust des Sendersignals oder Batte-
riewechsel). Halten Sie die CHANNEL Taste auf der Basisstation
für drei Sekunden gedrückt. Das Funkempfangssymbol für den
Außensender blinkt.
• Drücken Sie nun die TX Taste im Batteriefach des Senders. Die
Übertragung der Daten erfolgt sofort und bei erfolgreichem
Empfang wird die Außentemperatur auf der Basisstation ange-
zeigt.
• Wenn nach erfolgreichem Empfang der Kontakt zwischen Sen-
der und Empfänger zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt verloren geht,
so finden nach 30 und 60 Minuten Empfangsversuche statt. Der
Empfang wird zu jeder Stunde erneut aktiviert.
5.3 Empfang des Funkuhrsignals
• Nach dem Empfang der Außentemperatur versucht die Uhr nun,
das Funkuhrsignal zu empfangen und das DCF-Funkempfangs-
zeichen blinkt.
• Wenn der Zeitcode nach 3-10 Minuten empfangen wurde, wer-
den die funkgesteuerte Zeit und das DCF-Funkempfangszeichen
ständig im Display angezeigt.
• Der DCF-Funkempfang findet täglich automatisch um 1:00, 2:00
Uhr und 3:00 morgens statt. War der Funkempfang nicht erfolg-
reich, so finden um 4:00 und 5:00 Uhr früh weitere Funkemp-
fangsversuche statt.
Funk–Thermometer 
• Sie können den DCF-Funkempfang auch manuell aktivieren.
Drücken Sie die –/MIN Taste für 3 Sekunden. Das DCF-Emp-
fangszeichen blinkt.
• Halten Sie noch einmal die –/MIN Taste für 3 Sekunden
gedrückt, ist der Empfangsvorgang beendet. Das DCF-Emp-
fangszeichen verschwindet.
• Es gibt drei verschiedene Empfangssymbole:
blinkt – Empfang aktiv
bleibt stehen – Empfang erfolgreich
kein Symbol – kein Empfang
• Falls die Funkuhr kein DCF-Signal empfangen kann (z.B. wegen
Störungen, Übertragungsdistanz, etc.), kann die Zeit auch
manuell eingestellt werden.
• Die Uhr arbeitet dann wie eine normale Quarz-Uhr (siehe
„Manuelle Einstellungen”).
Hinweis: Empfang der Funkzeit
•
Die Zeitübertragung erfolgt von einer Atomuhr in der Nähe von
Frankfurt am Main durch ein DCF-77 (77.5 kHz) Frequenzsignal
mit einer Reichweite von ca. 1.500 km. Ihre Funkuhr empfängt
das Signal, wandelt es um und zeigt immer die exakte Zeit an.
Auch die Umstellung von Sommer- und Winterzeit erfolgt auto-
matisch.
• Vermeiden Sie die Nähe zu möglichen Störquellen, die den Funk-
empfang beeinträchtigen können (siehe „Standortwahl und Mon-
tage”).
• Nachts sind die atmosphärischen Störungen meist geringer. Ein
einziger Empfang pro Tag genügt, um die Genauigkeit (±1 Sekun-
de) zu gewährleisten.
6. Bedienung
• Das Gerät verlässt automatisch den Einstellmodus, wenn länger
als 20 Sekunden keine Taste gedrückt wird.
• Halten Sie die MAX/+ oder –/MIN Taste im Einstellmodus
gedrückt, gelangen Sie in den Schnelllauf.
6.1 Manuelle Einstellungen
• Drücken Sie die SET Taste und halten Sie diese für drei Sekun-
den gedrückt, um in den Einstellmodus zu gelangen.
• Der erste einstellbare Wert blinkt im Display.
• Wählen Sie mit der MAX/+ oder –/MIN Taste die gewünschte
Einstellung, solange die Anzeige blinkt.

• Durch Drücken der SET Taste bestätigen Sie die Einstellung und
gelangen zum nächsten Wert.
• Die Reihenfolge ist wie folgt:
– DCF Empfang ON/OFF (Voreinstellung: DCF ON)
– Zeitzone -12/+12 (Voreinstellung: TZ 00)
– Automatische Zurückstellung der maximalen und minimalen
Werte ON/OFF (Voreinstellung: AUTO OFF MIN MAX)
– Komfortzone ON/OFF
– Stunden, Minuten
– Jahr, Monat, Tag
6.1.1 DCF Empfang
• Standardgemäß ist der DCF-Empfang aktiviert (DCF ON) und
nach erfolgreichem Empfang des DCF-Funksignals ist keine
manuelle Zeiteinstellung erforderlich.
• Im Einstellungsmodus können Sie mit der MAX/+ oder –/MIN
Taste den Empfang des DCF-Funksignals deaktivieren (DCF OFF)
oder wieder aktivieren.
• Bei deaktiviertem Empfang müssen Sie die Uhrzeit manuell ein-
stellen. Es erscheint keine Zeitzone.
• Ist der DCF-Funkuhrempfang aktiviert, wird bei erfolgreichem
Empfang die manuell eingestellte Zeit überschrieben.
6.1.2 Einstellung der Zeitzone
• Im Einstellungsmodus können Sie mit der MAX/+ oder –/MIN
Taste eine Zeitzonenkorrektur (+12/-12) vornehmen.
• Die Zeitzonenkorrektur wird benötigt, wenn das DCF-Funksignal
empfangen werden kann, die Zeitzone sich aber von der funkge-
steuerten Zeit unterscheidet (z.B. +1 = eine Stunde später).
6.1.3 Automatische Zurückstellung
der maximalen und minimalen Werte
• Im Einstellungsmodus können Sie mit der MAX/+ oder –/MIN
Taste die automatische Zurückstellung der maximalen und
minimalen Werte aktivieren (AUTO MIN MAX ON) oder wieder
deaktivieren.
• Bei aktivierter automatischer Zurückstellung erscheint im Dis-
play dauerhaft AUTO.
• Die Maxima- und Minimawerte werden dann täglich automa-
tisch um 0.00 h zurückgestellt (siehe „Zurückstellung der
Höchst- und Tiefstwerte”).

6.2 Höchst- und Tiefstwerte
6.2.1 Anzeige der Höchst- und Tiefstwerte
• Drücken Sie die –/MIN Taste im Normalmodus. MIN blinkt im
Display.
• Es erscheint der gemessene Tiefstwert seit der letzten Rückstel-
lung unter Angabe von Zeit und Datum der Speicherung.
• Die Reihenfolge ist wie folgt: Innentemperatur, Innenluftfeuch-
tigkeit, Außentemperatur.
• Falls Sie mehr als einen Sender angeschlossen haben, können
Sie mit der CHANNEL Taste zwischen den Kanälen wechseln.
• Um wieder die Anzeige mit den aktuellen Werten zu erhalten,
drücken Sie die –/MIN Taste noch einmal.
• Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang mit der MAX/+ Taste zur Abfrage
der Höchstwerte. MAX blinkt im Display.
6.2.2 Zurückstellung der Höchst- und Tiefstwerte
a) Manuelle Zurückstellung
• Drücken und halten Sie die SET Taste für 3 Sekunden, während
die maximalen oder minimalen Werte angezeigt werden. Die
Werte werden gelöscht und auf den aktuellen Wert zurückge-
setzt.
b) Automatische Zurückstellung
• Voraussetzung: Im Einstellmodus ist die automatische Zurück-
stellung aktiviert (AUTO MIN MAX ON). Im Display erscheint
dauerhaft AUTO.
• Alle Maxima- und Minimawerte werden täglich automatisch um
0.00 h zurückgestellt.
• Eine zwischenzeitliche manuelle Rückstellung ist weiterhin
möglich.
6.3 Komfortstufe (Fig. 4)
• Auf dem Display erscheint ein Smiley zur Anzeige der Komfort-
stufe des Raumklimas.
• Voraussetzung: Im Einstellmodus ist die Funktion aktiviert (Vor-
einstellung ON).
7. Standortwahl und Montage
• Suchen Sie im Freien einen schattigen, niederschlagsgeschütz-
ten Platz für den Sender aus. Direkte Sonneneinstrahlung ver-
fälscht die Messwerte und ständige Nässe belastet die elektro-
nischen Bauteile unnötig.

Funk–Thermometer 
• Stellen Sie die Basisstation im Wohnraum auf.
• Vermeiden Sie die Nähe zu möglichen Störquellen, die den
Funkempfang beeinträchtigen können. Es wird empfohlen, einen
Abstand von mindestens 2 Metern zu eventuell störenden Gerä-
ten (Fernseher, Computer, Mikrowelle, Funktelefone, Babyfon)
und großen Metallgegenständen (z.B. Kühlschrank) einzuhalten.
Bei massiven Wänden, insbesondere mit Metallteilen, kann sich
die Sendereichweite erheblich reduzieren. In Extremfällen wird
empfohlen, das Gerät in Fensternähe zu platzieren.
• Prüfen Sie, ob eine Übertragung der Messwerte vom Sender am
gewünschten Aufstellort zur Basisstation stattfindet und das
DCF Funkuhrsignal empfangen werden kann.
• Suchen Sie sich gegebenenfalls einen neuen Aufstellort für Sen-
der und/oder Empfänger.
• Ist die Übertragung erfolgreich, können Sie Sender und Basis-
station aufstellen oder mit der Aufhängevorrichtung an die
Wand hängen.
• Zur Wandmontage des Senders schrauben Sie den Halter an die
Wand und klinken Sie den Außensender in den Halter.
• Betreiben Sie die Basisstation nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe der
Heizung, anderer Hitzequellen oder in direkter Sonneneinstrah-
lung.
8. Batteriewechsel
• Sobald das Batteriesymbol in der Displayzeile der Außenwerte
oder im Display des Senders erscheint, wechseln Sie bitte die
Batterien im Sender.
• Sobald das Batteriesymbol in der Displayzeile der Innenwerte
erscheint, wechseln Sie bitte die Batterien in der Basisstation.
•Achtung: Bei einem Batteriewechsel muss der Kontakt zwischen
Sender und Empfänger wiederhergestellt werden – also Batterien
immer in beide Geräte neu einlegen oder manuelle Sendersuche
starten.
9. Zusätzliche Außensender (optional erhältlich)
• Wenn Sie mehrere Außensender anschließen wollen, wählen Sie
mit dem 1 2 3 Schiebeschalter im Batteriefach des Außensen-
ders für jeden Außensender einen anderen Kanal aus. Legen Sie
dann zwei neue Batterien 1,5 V AA polrichtig ein. Nehmen Sie
die Basisstation anschließend in Betrieb oder starten Sie die
manuelle Sendersuche:
– Wählen Sie mit der CHANNEL Taste den gewünschten Kanal
aus.

– Halten Sie die CHANNEL Taste für drei Sekunden gedrückt.
Der registrierte Sender (Kanal) wird gelöscht und die Sen-
dersuche beginnt.
– Drücken Sie nun die TX Taste im Batteriefach des entspre-
chenden Senders. Die Übertragung der Daten erfolgt sofort.
• Die Außenwerte und die Kanalnummer werden auf dem Display
der Basisstation angezeigt. Wechseln Sie mit der CHANNEL
Taste zwischen den Kanälen 1 bis 3.
• Nach dem letzten registrierten Sender (1 bis 3) erscheint bei
erneuter Bedienung der CHANNEL Taste das Kreissymbol für
automatischen Kanalwechsel. Im Display werden nun im Wech-
sel (10 Sekunden) die Werte der installierten Sender angezeigt.
Drücken Sie die CHANNEL Taste noch einmal, um die Funktion
auszuschalten.
• Nach erfolgreicher Inbetriebnahme der Außensender schließen
Sie das Batteriefach wieder sorgfältig.

3. For your safety
• This product is exclusively intended for the range of application
described above.
• This product should only be used as described within these
instructions.
WARNING
• Keep the devices and the batteries out of reach of children.
• Small parts can be swallowed by children (under three years
old).
• Batteries contain harmful acids and may be hazardous if swal-
lowed. If a battery is swallowed, this can lead to serious internal
burns and death within two hours. If you suspect a battery
could have been swallowed or otherwise caught in the body,
seek medical help immediately.
• Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken
apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
• Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent
damage caused by leaking. Make sure the polarities are correct.
Never use a combination of old and new batteries together, nor

extended period of time. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and
mucous membranes when handling leaking batteries. In case of
contact, immediately rinse the affected areas with water and
consult a doctor.

• Unauthorised repairs, alterations or changes to the product are
prohibited.
• Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, vibrations
or shocks.
• Clean the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or
scouring agents.
• The base station is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it from
moisture!
• The transmitter is splashproof, but not watertight (see "Location

5. Getting started
5.1 Insert the batteries
• Place the base station and the transmitter on a table at a dis-
tance of about 1.5 meters from each other. Avoid being close to
possible sources of interference such as electronic devices and
radio equipment.
• Open the battery compartment of the transmitter and insert two
new AA 1.5 V batteries, polarity as illustrated. All LCD segments
will be displayed for a short moment.
• The display shows the temperature. The switch is set to chan-
nel 1.
• Close the battery compartment.
• Open the battery compartment of the base station.

• Insert two new AA 1.5 V batteries, polarity as illustrated. All
LCD segments will be displayed for a short moment. The
humidity and the temperature appear on the display as well as a
smiley to indicate the comfort level.
• Close the battery compartment.
5.2 Reception of outdoor transmitter
• The base station will scan the outdoor temperature and the
reception symbol flashes.
• If the reception is successful, the outdoor temperature and the
reception symbol appear steadily on the base station display.
• If the reception of the outdoor temperature fails, "- -.-" remains
on the display. Check the batteries and try it again.
• You can also start the transmitter search manually later (e.g. if
the transmitter signal is lost or if the batteries are changed).
Press and hold the CHANNEL button on the base station for
three seconds. The reception symbol for the outdoor transmit-
ter will be flashing.
• Press the TX button in the transmitter's battery compartment.
The transmission of the outdoor data takes place immediately
and if the reception is successful, the outdoor temperature
appears on the base station display.
• If the contact between the transmitter and receiver is lost at a
later time after successful reception, reception attempts will
happen after 30 and 60 minutes. Reception is reactivated every
hour.
5.3 Reception of the DCF frequency signal
• After the reception of the outdoor temperature, the clock will
now scan the DCF frequency signal and the DCF symbol flashes
on the display.
• When the time code is successfully received after 3-10 minutes,
the radio-controlled time and the DCF symbol will be shown
steadily on the display.
• The DCF reception always takes place at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00
o'clock in the morning. If the signal is not successfully received,
further attempts will be taken at 4:00 and 5:00 o'clock.
• You can also activate the DCF reception manually. Press the
–/MIN button for 3 seconds. The DCF reception symbol will be
flashing.
• Press and hold the –/MIN button again for 3 seconds to stop the
reception process. The DCF reception symbol disappears.

• There are 3 different reception symbols:
flashing symbol – reception is active
solid – reception is successful
no symbol – no DCF reception
• If the clock cannot detect the DCF-signal (e.g. due to interfer-
ence, transmitting distance, etc.), the time can be set manually.
• The clock will then work as a normal quartz clock (see: “Manual
settings”).
Note on radio-controlled time
•
The time is transmitted from an atomic clock near Frankfurt am
Main by a DCF-77 (77.5 kHz) frequency signal with a range of
about 1,500 km. Your radio-controlled clock receives the signal,
converts it and always shows the exact time. The adjustment of
Daylight Saving Time and Standard Time is also automatic.
• Avoid being close to possible sources of interference that may
affect radio reception (see “Location and mounting”).
• During night-time, the atmospheric interference is usually less
severe. A single daily reception is adequate to keep the accuracy
deviation under 1 second.
6. Operation
• The device will automatically quit the setting mode if no button
is pressed for 20 seconds.
• Press and hold the MAX/+ or –/MIN button in setting mode for
fast mode.
6.1 Manual settings
• Press and hold the SET button for three seconds to enter the
setting mode.
• The first adjustable value flashes on the display.
• Use the MAX/+ or –/MIN button to make the desired setting,
while the value flashes.
• Confirm with the SET button and go to the next setting.
• The sequence is shown as follows:
– DCF reception ON/OFF (default: DCF ON)
– Time zone -12/+12 (default: TZ 00)
– Automatic reset of the maximum and minimum values
ON/OFF (default: AUTO OFF MIN MAX)
– Comfort level ON/OFF
– Hour, minutes
– Year, month, date

6.1.1 DCF reception
• By default, the DCF reception is activated (DCF ON) and after
successful reception of the DCF signal no manual time setting is
necessary.
• In the setting mode, you can deactivate (DCF OFF) or activate
again the DCF reception using the MAX/+ or –/MIN button.
• Once the DCF time reception is deactivated the clock must be
manually set. No time zone will appear.
• If the DCF reception is activated, the manually set time will be
overwritten by the DCF time when the signal is received success-
fully.
6.1.2 Time zone setting
• In the setting mode, use the MAX/+ or –/MIN button to make the
time zone correction (-12/+12).
• The time zone correction is needed for countries where the DCF
signal can be received but the time zone is different from the
DCF time (e.g. +1=one hour plus).
6.1.3 Automatic reset of the maximum and minimum values
• In the setting mode, you can activate (AUTO MIN MAX ON) or
deactivate again the automatic reset of the maximum and mini-
mum values using the MAX/+ or –/MIN button.
• If the automatic reset is activated, AUTO appears on the display.
• The maximum and minimum values will be reset automatically
every midnight at 0:00 (see “Reset of maximum and minimum
values”).
6.2 Maximum and minimum values
6.2.1 Indication of maximum and minimum values
• Press the –/MIN button in normal mode. MIN flashes on the dis-
play.
• You can now see the lowest measuring value since the last
reset with time and date of recording.
• The sequence is shown as follows: Indoor temperature, indoor
humidity, outdoor temperature.
• If you have installed more than one transmitter, press the
CHANNEL button to change between the outdoor transmitters.
• Press the –/MIN button once more to go back to the current
values display.
• Repeat the process by pressing the MAX/+ button to see the
maximum values. MAX flashes on the display.

6.2.2 Reset of maximum and minimum values
a) Manual reset
• Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds while the highest
or lowest values are displayed. The values will be deleted and
reset to the current state.
b) Automatic reset
• Provided that in the setting mode the automatic reset is activat-
ed (AUTO MIN MAX ON). AUTO appears permanently on the
display.
• All maximum and minimum values will be reset automatically
every midnight at 0:00.
• An interim manual reset is still possible.
6.3 Comfort level (Fig. 4)
• On the display appears a smiley to indicate the comfort level.
• Provided that in the setting mode the function is activated
(default ON).
7. Location and mounting
• When placed outdoors, choose a shady and dry place for the
transmitter. Direct sunlight may trigger incorrect measurement
and continuous humidity damages the electronic components
needlessly.
• Place the base station in any room of the house.
• Avoid being close to possible sources of interference that may
affect radio reception. It is recommended to keep a distance of
at least 2 metres to possibly interfering sources (TV, computer,
microwave, wireless phones, baby monitors) and large metal
objects (e.g. refrigerator). Within solid walls, especially ones
with metal parts, the transmission range can be reduced con-
siderably. In extreme cases, please place the unit close to a win-
dow to improve reception.
• Check whether the transmission from the transmitter to the
base station is possible and whether the DCF radio clock signal
can be received.
• If necessary, choose, another position for the outdoor transmit-
ter and/or receiver.
• If the transmission is successful, you can place or wall mount
the base station and the outdoor transmitter with the suspen-
sion device.

• To wall-mount the transmitter, screw the holder to the wall and
click the outdoor transmitter into the holder.
• Do not use the base station in the vicinity of radiators, other
sources of heat or in direct sunlight.
8. Battery replacement
• As soon as the battery symbol will appear on the outdoor values
display of the base station or on the display of the outdoor
transmitter, change the batteries of the outdoor transmitter.
• Change the batteries of the base station, when the battery sym-
bol appears on the indoor values display.
•Please note: When the batteries are changed, the contact
between the transmitter and the receiver must be restored – so
always insert new batteries into both devices or start the manual
search for the transmitter.
9. Additional outdoor transmitters (optional)
• When having more than one external transmitter, select a differ-
ent channel for each one with the 1 2 3 switch inside the trans-
mitter's battery compartment. Insert two new AA 1.5 V batter-
ies, polarity as illustrated. Start the base station operation or the
manual search for the outdoor transmitter:
– Choose the respective channel by pressing the CHANNEL
button.
– Press and hold the CHANNEL button for three seconds. The
last registered transmitter (channel) will be cancelled and the
transmitter search begins.
– Press the TX button in the corresponding transmitter's bat-
tery compartment. The transmission of the outdoor data will
take place immediately.
• The outdoor values and the channel number will be shown on
the base station display. Press the CHANNEL button to change
between the channels 1 to 3.
• Press the CHANNEL button. After the last registered channel
(1 to 3) a circle symbol will appear. On the display the values of
the installed transmitters are displayed in sequence (10 sec-
onds). To deactivate the function press the CHANNEL button
again.
• After a successful installation close the outdoor transmitter's
battery compartment carefully.

AVERTISSEMENT
• Placez vos appareils et les piles hors de la portée des enfants.
• Les petites pièces peuvent être avalées par les enfants (moins
de trois ans).
• Les piles contiennent des acides nocifs pour la santé et peuvent
être mortelles dans le cas d’une ingestion. Si une pile a été ava-
lée, elle peut entraîner des brûlures internes graves ainsi que la
mort dans l’espace de 2 heures. Si vous craignez qu’une pile ait
pu être avalée ou ingérée d’une autre manière, quelle qu’elle
soit, contactez immédiatement un médecin d’urgence.
• Ne jetez jamais de piles dans le feu, ne les court-circuitez pas,
ne les démontez pas et ne les rechargez pas. Risque d'explo-
sion !
• Une pile faible doit être remplacée le plus rapidement possible
afin d'éviter toute fuite. Veillez à la bonne polarité des piles.

• N'utilisez jamais simultanément de piles anciennes avec des
piles neuves ou des piles de types différents. Retirez les piles si
vous n'utilisez pas votre appareil pendant une durée prolongée.
Évitez tout contact de la peau, des yeux et des muqueuses avec
le liquide des piles. En cas de contact, rincez immédiatement les
zones concernées à l’eau et consultez un médecin.
ATTENTION
• Vous ne devez en aucun cas réparer, démonter ou modifier l'ap-
pareil par vous-même.
• Évitez d’exposer l’appareil à des températures extrêmes, à des
vibrations ou à des chocs.
• Pour le nettoyage de votre appareil, utilisez un chiffon doux et
humide. N’utilisez pas de solvants ou d'agents abrasifs !
• La station de base ne peut être utilisée qu'à l'intérieur. Protégez
l'appareil contre l'humidité !
• L'émetteur résiste aux éclaboussures d'eau mais il n'est pas
étanche (voir « Choix de l’emplacement et montage »).

5. Mise en service
5.1 Insertion des piles
• Déposez la station de base et l'émetteur sur une table à une dis-
tance d'environ 1,5 mètre l'un de l'autre. Évitez la proximité de
sources parasites (appareils électroniques ou appareils radio).
• Ouvrez le compartiment à piles de l'émetteur et insérez deux
nouvelles piles de type 1,5 V AA en respectant la polarité +/-.
Tous les segments s'allument brièvement.
• La température apparaît sur l'écran. L'interrupteur est réglé sur
le canal 1.
• Refermez le compartiment à piles.
• Ouvrez le compartiment à piles de la station de base.

• Insérez deux piles neuves de type 1,5 V AA en respectant la
polarité +/-. Tous les segments s'allument brièvement. L'humi-
dité et la température apparaissent sur l'écran, ainsi qu'un smi-
ley indiquant le niveau de confort.
• Refermez le compartiment à piles.
5.2 Réception de l'émetteur extérieur
• La station de base cherche la température extérieure et le sym-
bole de réception clignote.
• Lorsque la réception du signal a abouti, la température extérieu-
re et le symbole de réception sont affichés en continu sur
l'écran de la station de base.
• Si la température extérieure n'est pas reçue, « - -.- » reste affi-
ché en continu sur l'écran de la station de base. Contrôlez les
piles et effectuez une nouvelle tentative.
• Vous pouvez activer manuellement la recherche de l'émetteur
(par exemple en cas de perte du signal de l'émetteur ou de rem-
placement des piles). Appuyez sur la touche CHANNEL de la sta-
tion de base pendant trois secondes. Le symbole de réception
clignote.
• Appuyez sur la touche TX dans le compartiment à piles de
l'émetteur. Le transfert des données est immédiat et en cas de
réception correcte, la température extérieure sera affichée sur
l'écran de la station de base.
• Si, après une réception réussie, le contact entre l'émetteur et le
récepteur est perdu ultérieurement, de nouvelles tentatives de
réception seront effectuées après 30 et 60 minutes. La récep-
tion sera effectuée à nouveau une fois par heure.
5.3 Réception du signal DCF
• Après la réception de la température extérieure, l'horloge cher-
che le signal radio et le symbole de réception DCF clignote.
• En cas de réception correcte après 3-10 minutes, l’heure radio
et le symbole de réception DCF sont affichés en continu sur
l'écran.
• La réception du signal DCF a lieu automatiquement tous les
jours à 1h00, 2h00 et 3h00 du matin. Au cas où la réception
aurait échoué, un nouvel essai de réception sera effectué à
4h00 et 5h00 jusqu'à ce qu'il réussisse.
• Vous pouvez activer manuellement la réception de l’heure radio.
Appuyez sur la touche –/MIN pendant 3 secondes. Le symbole
de réception DCF clignote.

• Si vous appuyez à nouveau sur la touche –/MIN pendant
3 secondes, le processus de réception est terminé. Le symbole
de réception DCF disparaît.
• Il y a trois symboles de réception différents :
clignote – réception en cours
allumé en continu – la réception a abouti
aucun symbole – aucune réception
• Si votre horloge radio-pilotée ne peut pas recevoir le signal DCF
(par exemple en cas de perturbations, d'une distance de trans-
mission excessive etc.), vous pouvez régler l'horaire manuelle-
ment.
• L’horloge fonctionne comme une horloge à quartz normale (voir :
« Réglages manuels »).
Consignes pour la réception de l'heure radio
•
La transmission de l’heure radio s’effectue via une horloge ato-
mique près de Francfort-sur-le-Main, avec un signal DCF-77
(77,5 kHz) d'une portée d’environ 1 500 km. Votre horloge radio-
pilotée reçoit le signal, le convertit et affiche l'heure précise. Le
passage de l'heure d'hiver à l'heure d'été et vice-versa s'effectue
également automatiquement.
• Évitez la proximité de sources parasites qui pourraient affecter la
réception radio (voir : « Choix de l’emplacement et montage »).
• La nuit, les perturbations s’affaiblissent en règle générale. Une
seule réception par jour suffit pour maintenir d’éventuels écarts
en dessous d'1 seconde.
6. Utilisation
• L'appareil quitte automatiquement le mode de réglage si aucune
touche n’est pressée pendant 20 secondes.
• Si vous maintenez la touche MAX/+ ou –/MIN appuyée au cours
d'un mode de réglage, vous passez en déroulement rapide.
6.1 Réglages manuels
• Maintenez la touche SET appuyée pendant 3 secondes pour
accéder au mode de réglage.
• La première valeur réglable clignote sur l'écran.
• Utilisez la touche MAX/+ ou –/MIN pour effectuer le réglage
souhaité, pendant que la valeur clignote.
• Appuyez sur la touche SET pour confirmer le réglage et passer à
la valeur suivante.

• L’ordre est le suivant :
– Réception de l'heure radio DCF ON/OFF (par défaut : DCF ON)
– Fuseau horaire -12/+12 (par défaut : TZ 00)
– Réinitialisation automatique des valeurs maximales et mini-
males ON/OFF (par défaut : AUTO OFF MIN MAX)
– Niveau de confort du climat ON/OFF
– Heure, minutes
– Année, mois, jour
6.1.1 Réception DCF
• Par défaut, la réception DCF est activée (DCF ON) et après une
réception réussie du signal DCF, aucun réglage manuel de l'heu-
re n’est nécessaire.
• En mode de réglage, vous pouvez désactiver (DCF OFF) ou réac-
tiver la réception du signal radio DCF avec la touche MAX/+ ou
–/MIN.
• Si la réception est désactivée, l'heure doit être réglée manuelle-
ment. Aucun fuseau horaire n'apparaît.
• Lorsque la réception du signal DCF est activée et a abouti,
l'heure ajustée manuellement sera remplacée par l’heure radio.
6.1.2 Réglage du fuseau horaire
• En mode de réglage, vous pouvez régler la correction du fuseau
horaire (+12/-12) avec la touche MAX/+ ou –/MIN.
• Vous avez la possibilité d'utiliser un autre fuseau horaire si
votre horloge radio-pilotée peut recevoir le signal DCF mais
l'heure de votre fuseau horaire est différente de l’heure DCF
(par exemple : +1 = une heure plus tard).
6.1.3 Réinitialisation automatique
des valeurs maximales et minimales
• En mode de réglage, vous pouvez activer (AUTO MIN MAX ON)
ou désactiver la réinitialisation automatique des valeurs maxi-
males et minimales avec la touche MAX/+ ou –/MIN.
• Lorsque la réinitialisation automatique est activée, AUTO appa-
raît sur l'écran en permanence.
• Les valeurs maximales et minimales sont réactualisées chaque
jour automatiquement à minuit 00.00 h (voir : « Réinitialisation
des valeurs maximales et minimales »).
