III.Operation
1.Avoiddangerousenvironments—Donotusethe
toolinrainorindamporwetlocations.
2.Usethepropertoolforyourapplication—Using
thebackpackorattachedtoolforpurposesother
antheirintendedusecouldprovedangerousto
youandbystanders.
3.Preventunintentionalstarting—Ensurethatthe
switchisintheOFFpositionbeforeconnectingto
thebackpackandhandlingthetool.Donotcarry
thetoolwithyourngerontheswitchorenergize
thetoolwiththeswitchintheONposition.
4.Operatethebackpackandattachedtoolonlyin
daylightorgoodarticiallight.
5.Removethebatterypackfromthebackpack
anddisconnectthetoolbeforeadjustingitor
changingaccessories.
6.Keepyourhandsandfeetawayfromtheblower
openingandallmovingparts.
7.Shutoffthetool,removethebatterypackfrom
thebackpack,andwaitforallmovementtostop
beforeadjusting,servicing,cleaning,orstoring
thetoolorbackpack.

2.Whenthebatterypackisnotinuse,keepit
awayfrommetalobjectssuchaspaperclips,
coins,keys,nails,andscrewsthatcanmakea
connectionfrom1terminaltoanother.Shorting
thebatteryterminalsmaycauseburnsorare.
3.Keepyourhandsandfeetawayfrommoving
parts.
4.Shutoffthetool,removethebatterypackfrom
