Trixie Biker-Set Manual

Das Biker-Set wird an der Sattelstange (alternativ
am Rahmen) befestigt.
1. Legen Sie die Kunststoffhülle um die Sattelstange.
Bitte vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Sattelstange im
Rahmen fest verschraubt ist, da diese sich sonst
bei starkem Zug des Hundes ggf. verdrehen kann.
2. Setzen Sie die beiden Hälften der Haltevorrichtung
auf die Kunststoffhülle und verbinden Sie diese mit
den beiliegenden Schrauben und Unterlegscheiben.
3. Schrauben Sie die Spiralfeder auf das kurze Ende des
Abstandhalters.
4.
Schieben Sie danach den Abstandhalter auf die Halte-
vorrichtung am Fahrrad. Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass
der Arretierungsbolzen einrastet.
5.
Nach Lösen der Arretierung können Sie den Abstand-
halter wieder entfernen.
Sicherheitshinweise
• Das Biker-Set ist nur für den Gebrauch an Fahrrädern
geeignet, nicht an Motorrädern oder anderen Kraft-
fahrzeugen.
• Lassen Sie Ihren am Biker-Set angebundenen Hund
nicht ohne Aufsicht zurück.
• Das Biker-Set ist nicht für kleine Hunde oder Welpen
geeignet.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie beim Auf- und Absteigen
nicht am Biker-Set hängenbleiben.
• Prüfen sie regelmäßig, ob die Muttern festsitzen und
ziehen Sie diese ggf. nach.
• Wird kein Hund am Biker-Set geführt, bauen Sie den
Halter bitte ab.
• Hinweis für Eltern: Die Verantwortung für einen
sicheren Umgang eines Kindes mit dem Biker-Set mit
angeleintem Hund, liegt bei den Eltern. Lassen Sie Ihr
Kind das Biker-Set zunächst nur unter Aufsicht ver-
wenden.
• Bitte beachten Sie: Nicht jeder Hund ist dafür
geeignet am Fahrrad geführt zu werden. Hunde-
besitzer sollten vor dem Gebrauch des Biker-Sets
genau überlegen, ob ihr Hund für die körperliche
Belastung zum Führen am Fahrrad geeignet ist.
Zur Eingewöhnung Ihres Hundes nehmen Sie sich
bitte ausreichend Zeit und üben Sie das Laufen am
Fahrrad ausgiebig. Bei Hunden mit geringerer Aus-
dauer empfehlen wir das Tier nur eine kurze Zeit oder
eine kurze Strecke am Fahrrad laufen zu lassen.
Im Idealfall lassen Sie Ihren Hund die Geschwindig-
keit und die Dauer der Fahrt selbst bestimmen.
• Verantwortlich für den Gebrauch des Biker-Sets und
die damit verbundenen Gefahren ist voll und ganz
der Hundebesitzer bzw. Radfahrer.

The Biker-Set can easily be fixed to the saddle
post or to the bicycle frame.
1. Place the plastic casing around the seat post. Please
make sure that the seat post is securely fastened to
the frame, otherwise it might twist if the dog gives
a strong pull.
2. Place both holder parts on the plastic mantle and
screw them together with the attached bolts and
washers.
3. Now screw the spiral spring on the short side of the
extension bar.
4. Then connect the extension bar to the holder which
is attached to the bike. Please ensure that the lock
snaps into place.

The extension bar can be detached again by releasing
the adjustment.
Safety Information
• The Biker-Set may only be used with bicycles, not
with motorcycles or any other motor vehicles.
• Never leave your dog without supervision when it is
tied to the Biker-Set.
•
The Biker-Set is not suitable for small dogs or puppies.
• Pay attention that you do not get caught in the
Biker-Set when mounting or dismounting.
• Check the nuts regularly and tighten them if they
have become loose.
• If no dog is being led by the Biker-Set, please detach
it from your bicycle.
• Notice for parents: Responsibility for safe handling
lies with the parents if a child handles a dog that is
tied to the Biker-Set. Only allow your child to use
the Biker-Set under your supervision at the start.

Please note: Not every dog is suitable to be led from
a bicycle. Before using the Biker-Set, dog owners
should consider carefully, whether their dog is fit for
the physical demands of being led alongside a bicycle.
Please plan sufficient time to familiarize your dog
with the Biker-Set and train leading it from a bicycle
frequently. For dogs with little stamina we
recommend leading it alongside your bicycle for only
a short time or a short distance.
It is ideal if you let your dog determine the speed and
the duration of the trip.
• Complete responsibility for the use of the Biker-Set
and the hazards involved in this lies with the dog
owner or cyclist.
 Fixing Instructions

Biker-Set peut être monté et démonté rapidement
à la tige de selle ou au cadre du vélo.
1. Placer le boitier en plastique autour de la tige de la
selle. Veillez à ce que la tige de la selle soit
solidement fixée au cadre, sinon elle pourrait
tourner quand le chien exerce une forte traction.
2. Disposez alors les deux moitiés du mécanisme de
serrage sur la protection plastifiée et assemblez-les
avec les vis et les anneaux de sécurité ci-joints.
3. Vissez alors le ressort en spirale sur le coté court de
la barre en métal.
4. Faites glisser ensuite la barre sur le dispositif de
serrage situé sur le cadre du vélo. Prenez garde que
l’arrêtoir soit en position de blocage.
5. Vous pouvez de nouveau enlever la barre en
débloquant l’arrêtoir.
Précautions de sécurité
• Le Biker-Set doit toujours être utilisé sur les vélos,
jamais sur les vélomoteurs ou tous autres engins
motorisés.
• Ne jamais laisser votre chien sans surveillance
lorsqu’il est attaché au Biker-Set.
•
Le Biker-Set n’est pas adapté aux petits chiens ou aux
chiots.
• Attention à ne pas s’accrocher au Biker-Set lors du
montage ou démontage.
• Vérifiez régulièrement les boulons, et resserrez-les
lorsqu’ils commencent à se désserrer.
• Détachez le Biker-Set du vélo lorsque vous ne
l’utilisez pas avec votre chien.

À l’attention des parents: Les parents sont
responsab
les de la sécurité lorsque les enfants
utilisent le Biker-Set avec le chien. Au départ,
n’autorisez vos enfants à utiliser le Biker-Set, que
s’ils sont sous votre surveillance.
• A noter: Tous les chiens ne sont pas capables de
suivre ainsi un vélo. Avant d’utiliser le Biker-Set, le
maître du chien doit évaluer avec attention si son
chien a les capacités physiques nécessaires pour
courir à côté d’un vélo.
Prévoyez suffisamment de temps pour familiariser
votre chien au Biker-Set et entrainez-le à l’exercice
régulièrement. Pour les chiens peu endurants, nous
recommandons de les entrainer sur de courtes
distances, pendant peu de temps.
L’idéal est de laisser votre chien determiner la vitesse
et la durée du parcours par lui-même.
•
L’usage du Biker-Set se fait sous l’entière responsabi-
lité du maître du chien ou du cycliste.

Biker-Set può essere montato e smontato
rapidamente dalla sella o dal tubo verticale del
telaio.
1. Sistemate la guaina in gomma attorno alla sella. Si
prega di fissare saldamente la sella alla struttura
della bicicletta per evitare che il cane la ruoti con
qualche movimento brusco.
2. Posizionate entrambi i ganci di fissaggio attorno alla
guaina e fissateli insieme con le viti e le rondelle
fornite.
3. Ora avvitate la molla nella parte corta della barra in
metallo.
4. Poi inserite la barra nella base che deve già essere
stata posizionata sulla bici. Fate attenzione che si
agganci bene all’interno.
5. Sganciando il blocco di fissaggio, potrete rimuovere
facilmente l’intero set.
Informazioni di sicurezza
• Biker-Set può essere utilizzato solo con le biciclette,
non con motocicli o altri veicoli a motore.
• Se il cane è allacciato a Biker-Set, non lasciarlo mai
senza sorveglianza.
• Biker-Set non è adatto a cani piccoli e cuccioli.
• Fare attenzione a non rimanere incastrati mentre si
sale o si scende dalla bici.
• Controllare regolarmente che i dadi siano ben
avvitati e stringerli in caso contrario.
• Se nessun cane è allacciato a Biker-Set, è opportuno
smontarlo dalla bicicletta.
• Nota per i genitori: Se un bambino conduce un cane
allacciato a Biker-Set, la responsabilità di un utilizzo
sicuro ricade sui genitori. Inizialmente è importante
permettere ad un bambino di utilizzare Biker-Set
solo sotto la sorveglianza dei genitori.
• Si prega di tener presente che: Ogni cane non è
idoneo ad essere condotto da una bicicletta. Prima di
utilizzare Biker-Set, il proprietario di un cane deve
valutare con attenzione che il proprio cane sia in
grado di affrontare lo sforzo fisico di essere condotto
a fianco di una bicicletta in movimento.
Si consiglia di abituare il cane gradualmente e di fare
corte sessioni ma frequenti per poi allungarle a
lunghe passeggiate. Nel caso di un cane con poca
resistenza, raccomandiamo di condurlo con la
bicicletta solo per un breve periodo o per una breve
distanza.
È ideale lasciare che sia il cane a dettare velocità e
durata del viaggio.
•
Il proprietario del cane o il ciclista è l’unico responsa-
bile per l’utilizzo di Biker-Set, rischi connessi.
