Surge protect  on should be used for all outdoor  nstallat  ons. We recommend that
you use two Ethernet Surge Protectors, model ETH-SP, one near the NanoStat  on and
the other at the entry po  nt to the bu  ld  ng. The ETH-SP w  ll absorb power surges
and safely d  scharge them  nto the ground.

the LAN and DHCP server.

In a  rOS®, you can mod  fy the threshold value for the w  reless s  gnal strength LEDs
on the W  reless tab under S  gnal LED Thresholds. The LED w  ll l  ght when the
w  reless s  gnal strength  s equal to or greater than the LED’s threshold value. The
default threshold values for these LEDs are shown below:

Ma  n/LAN port and ash when there  s act  v  ty.
