NOTE:
1. C9 Pendant Storage cannot be used in combination with C9
Mobile Desks.
2. C9 File Pendant, Pencil/File Pendant, and Pencil/Box Pendant
Storage cannot be used on 24” deep C9 desks.

Attach Brackets
Determine whether the pendant storage will be
a right-handed or left-handed unit (right-hand
shown on cover). Locate the mounting bracket
with hooks (a.) For right-hand installation
this bracket will be installed on the right
side of the Pendant Storage case using
(2) screws (0001259). For a left-
hand installation this bracket will be
installed on the left side of the case.
The mounting bracket with slots (b.)
will be installed on the opposite
side of the case using (2) screws,
as shown below. And finally, the
mounting bracket with a lip (c.) will be
installed at the front of the case using
(3) screws, as shown.
Hook Pendant onto Rail
Hook bracket (a.) from step 1 onto the inside of the
side rail of the desk as shown below.

Secure Front of Pendant
Slide the pendant forward to the front rail, and hook
the front bracket of the pendant to the desk rail.
Mount the Third Bracket
Insert (2) screws (0001140) through the holes in the
bracket into the threaded inserts in the under-surface
support rail. Tighten with a 3mm Hex wrench.

Pencil Drawer Only
If the Pendant Storage includes a pencil
drawer, install pencil tray and dividers, as
shown below. First position the dividers in
place, in the notches in the drawer body. Then
place the tray in the dedicated front right
area. No hardware is needed in this step.
File Drawer Only
If the Pendant Storage includes a file
drawer, install the file bars into place in the
notches in the drawer body, as shown below.
No hardware is needed for this step.

Optional: Install Lock Core
With key inserted into the lock core, insert
lock core into the lock body and firmly turn
counterclockwise, remove key and lock is
installed. A change tool (078500) is required
to remove cores. A firm clockwise turn
removes the lock core.

Assemble CPU Holder
(a) Align the holes in bottom half of the CPU cabinet
with the threaded pems of the top half of the CPU
cabinet at the desired height. (b) Install (8) 0001594
M4 x 5mm cap screws with a 2.5mm hex wrench.
C9 CPU Holder Assembly
Attach Mounting Brackets
Determine whether the CPU Cabinet will be a
right-handed or a left-handed unit. Locate the
mounting bracket with hooks (a) For a right-handed
installation this bracket will be installed on the
right side of the CPU Cabinet using (2) screws
(0001259). For a left handed installation this
bracket will be installed on the left side of the case.
The mounting bracket with slots (b) will be installed
on the opposite side of the case using (2) screws
(0001259) as shown below.
Install mounting bracket with lip (c) at the front of
the case using (2) screws (0001259) as shown.
Note:
For a fixed height desk: center the front bracket (c).
For a right-hand installation on an adjustable desk:
justify the front bracket to the left.
For a left-hand installation on an adjustable desk:
justify the front bracket to the right.

Hang CPU Holder
(a) Hook CPU Cabinet onto Rail. Hook bracket from
step 2 onto the inside of the side rail of the desk as
shown.
(b) Slide the CPU Cabinet forward to the front
rail and hook the front bracket of the CPU
Cabinet to the desk rail.
(c) Mount the third bracket. Insert (2) screws
(0001140) through the holes in the bracket
into the threaded inserts in the under-
surface support rail. Tighten with a 3mm Hex
wrench.

Install Back Panel
After CPU has been installed and cables have been
managed, hook back panel on the rails on the back of
the unit.

Position Rail Nuts
Note the location of the screen brackets in relation
to the desk. Rotate the rail nuts into place inside the
frame rail channel. Firmly push them together until
the angled surfaces are touching. Place one set of rail
nuts per bracket.

C9 Corner Desk Screen Assembly
Attach Screen Bracket
Align the desk screen brackets with the holes in the rail nuts and
attach with (2) screws (0001140) for each bracket. The brackets
should face outward as shown. It is helpful to leave the side
bracket a bit loose for side to side adjustments when mounting
screen.

Install Screen
Install the screen into the back rail brackets. Space
the inside face of the metal screen off the outer
edge of the desk surface 3mm. Slide the side screen
medallion thru lower slot and align underneath the
inner rail bracket.
Secure Side Bracket
Align the side bracket components and from the
bottom, screw (2) M6 x 8mm low profile screws
(0001259) thru medallion bracket and into the rail
bracket. Tighten Rail Bracket to rail nut connection.

Assemble Pencil Cup or Hook
(a) Hold the Pencil Cup or Hook At a 45° angle. insert
the tab on the top of the component into one of the
slots on the screen. Rotate the component back to
vertical while keeping the tab engaged with the slot.
(b) This will lock the component into place, creating a
secure connection.
Note: Pencil Cup included with
Markerboard Screen, Hook
included with Slotted Screen.

Position Rail Nuts
Rotate the rail nuts (0001120) into place inside the
long frame rail channel. Firmly push them together
until the angled surfaces are touching. Place two sets
of rail nuts on the back rail of the desk.
Attach Screen Bracket
Align the desk screen brackets with the holes in the
rail nuts and attach with (2) screws (001140) for each
bracket. The brackets should face outward as shown.

Place Screen into Brackets
Use two people on bigger screens. Align the 6M x
12mm screws (0001140) into the upper slots on the
screen brackets. Lower the screen into place on the
brackets. While one person holds the screen in place
the other person can move to step 5
Attach Screen Bracket
Start M6 x 12mm screws (0001140)
into top holes in screen. Do not thread
in all the way. Leave enough thread
exposed to drop the screen into the
brackets installed on desk rail.

Secure Screen
Once the screen is in place, install the two remaining
M6 x 12mm screws (0001140) into the lower holes,
thru the bracket and into the screen.Tighten up all M6
x 12mm screws on screen and rail brackets with the
3mm hex wrench.

Attach Modesty Panel Brackets
Loosely attach the Modesty Panel brackets with (2)
screws (0001140) per bracket. The brackets can be
installed in two different orientations depending on
how far the Modesty Panel should be inset.
Position Rail Nuts
Rotate the rail nuts (0001120) into place inside the
long frame rail channel. Firmly push them together
until the angled surfaces are touching. Place two sets
of rail nuts on the back rail of the desk.
