G 6 M12 x 40 x 1.75p Bolts, Lock Washers, and Plain Washers
H 4 M12 x 40 x 1.75p Bolts, Lock Washers, Plain Washers, Witter Cage Nuts & Retainers
J 4 M12 x 40 x 1.75p Bolts, and Serrated Flanged Nuts
K 6 M12 x 40 x 1.75p Bolts, Serrated Flanged Nuts and bolt caps
L 4 M10 x 30 x 1.5p Bolts, Serrated Flanged Nuts and washers
CB 2 M16 x 50 x 2.0p Bolts, Lock Washers, and Nuts
This tow bar must beused with either a Witter Tow ball(part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball, which dimensionally
conforms to A50-1 with a ‘D’ and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the tow bar.
FITTING
1. RemoveRearUnder-run Bar from itssupport arms(2bolts each side).
2. Removeeach Under-run Bar Support Arm from thevehiclechassisrails.
3. Assemble Side Arms(B) and Packers (E) to outside face of each chassis rail using fasteners (F & G).
4. Assemble Angle Brackets(C) to each SideArm (B) usingfasteners(J).
Note orientation of slotted holes in Bracket (C) against the bottom face of each chassis rail.
5. Assemble Witter Cage Nuts (H) to Nut Plate (D)and insert theassembled plate into the rear end of each chassis rail..
6. Finish the assemblyof Angle Brackets (C) tothevehicleusing fasteners (H) through the bottom faceof eachchassis
railandintoassembledNutPlates(D),alreadylocated withinthechassisrails.
7. Assemble Cross Bar (A)toeach Side Arm (B) using fasteners (K).
8. Re-Assemble the Vehicle Chrome Bumper to the Side Arms (B) using existing fasteners or bolts (L).(Note: Nuts (L)
are not required for refitting of the Chrome bumper.
9. Fully tighten all fasteners
Recommended torque settings:
Grade 8.8 bolts: M8 - 24Nm, M10 - 52 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M14 - 130 Nm, M16 - 200 Nm
Grade 10.9: M12 –120Nm, M10 –70Nm M8- 35Nm
