Installation Instructions
Any retrofit or other field modification to a fire rated opening can potentially impact the fire rating of the opening, and Yale Locks & Hardware makes no representations or warranties
concerning what such impact may be in any specific situation. When retrofitting any portion of an existing fire rated opening, or specifying and installing a new fire-rated opening,
please consult with a code specialist or local code official (Authority Having Jurisdiction) to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and ratings.

1. Prepare Door
A. Select proper backset on door marker
(page 3) and locate 38" from finished
floor.
B. Center punch 2 places as noted on
door marker.
2. Install Mounting Plate Assembly
A. Locate holes in mounting plate assembly
over center punch marks.
B. Install (2) screws and tighten to
secure mounting plate assembly to door.
3. Install Rose and Lever
A. Install rose onto mounting plate assembly
and rotate clockwise to tighten.
B. Install lever onto spindle. Insert set screw
into hole.
